So my doctor told me i had a lot of yeast and she told me i could use something for it but i don't quite remember. .... she said i could get it at walmart. Does anyone know what could help..
View 3 RepliesIn December I came back positive for chlamydia and was negative for everything else, I was treated and after about the third week I noticed that that right inside of my vagina was white. not like patches or anything like a white film that was seeping a white discharge. it kinda smelled bad but I thought maybe this is just side effects of the medicine prescribed for me for chlamydia.
In January I became sexually active with my partner who is clean as he was tested for any STI's/STD's since he was enlisting to the navy. the discharge went away and then reappeared last week. I should be starting my period soon.
During last week I had unprotected sex in which I did shave down there, for days I had no symptoms of anything I was perfectly fine.
I went to go use the bathroom one morning and I went to wipe and I plucked a hair out I believe in doing so, later that day I got this bump that's about the size of a pimple and then there are two smaller ones next to it the size of pins on my left labia and it's kinda irritated on the vulva.
they itch every now and then but nothing serious, no pain or burning.
I've been with my bf for a while and I've been getting yeast infections. It burns off on and on when I pee and itches inside my vagina. I looked and I notice whitish bumps. I don't have much discharge but it's white. The last time we had sex we had a lot a few times a day and sometimes it was dry we didn't take showers. Could it be a yeast infection or std?
View 1 RepliesAbout two weeks ago I had flu like symptoms, lower back pain, and very sore throat. I went to an urgent care. The doctor said that my throat looked fine. He did a strep test and mono test. Both were negative. Took xrays of my throat and said I had lingual tonsillitis. Gave me I.v fluids, pain meds, and antibiotic via I.v as well. Prescribed amoxicillin. After I finished the antibiotic I started having yeast symptoms...little bit itchy, thick white discharge. Then, I started having excruciating pain while urinating. Pain is in my urethra. Couple days later horrible pain in my anus during defecation. I went back to urgent care. Said I tested positive for bv and yeast. Gave me meds for both. Sent off for std testing. I also feel like I've been punched in my vagina and anus. Yesterday I noticed a red, flat sore spot on vagina...itchy and burns when you touch it or your urine gets on it. Currently looks like an ulcer. I read that you can have bacterial infection in throat and it can move to your bowels and cause infection in anus and uti. Also, read that yeast can cause ulcers. My question is has anyone experienced anything like this? What was the cause? Btw urine test showed no nitrates in urine and my cbc was fine.

It was very red and my labia got very swollen... The swelling went down but i've still been dealing with the itching and burning. The skin on my vagina is very wet and it get hard and peels off every couple days. I went into my docs and they said it was vaginitis and a yeast infection on the outside. They gave me the 1 time yeast infection pill (don't remember the name) and i've been drowning my body in probiotics. Nothing is making it to away. It's still itchy and peeling and now it's moved up to my anus. Does anyone know what this is? Is it just a horrible yeast infection?

Has anyone done anything really random that has helped?! Today i woke up took a folic acid and acidophilus. Then i crushed a acidophilus and made a paste rubbed it all over the naughty parts and boom no symptoms within 10 minutes! But i don't want to have to do this everyday and docs.

I've had yeast infections before, probably 1 a year prior to him coming along. in the last 6 months I've had a few yeast infections, and the worst vaginal irritation, including severe swelling, dryness, itchiness, etc. Sometimes I sit in the tub for an hour, and its even gotten to the point where I ice my vagina to decrease the swelling. My doctors have told me irritation is just part of having a vagina. How does that help me?
I'm a very healthy person. Have no std's. Eat basically Paleo and gluten free, and exercise on a daily basis. I stay away from sugars because I fear they will cause the yeast to come. I'm getting worried that the yeast is a sign of something much worse. Then, I read web articles, which talk about immune deficiencies, diabetes, LBS, etc. and get scared, which just stresses me out.
Is yeast a normal thing, or am I justified in being worried?
