I'm 37 weeks a long and my husband and I had sex tonight and ever since then my vagina has been burning SOOOO bad, it hurts to urinate and even walk. We've had sex before while im this pregnant and it's never happened. Is this normal, and why.

View 1 RepliesI'm 38 weeks and I went for a very long walk today 10 blocks and I had to quit on my way back home cause my tummy n vagina were hurting , I was having rank pain when I got home it was so bad I was crying it stopped now I'm having pains every 20 mins and burning feeling in my vagina this is my 3rd pregnancy and with my two others my water broke then had to get the Labour started for me. Just wondering if anyone else had Labour start like this ??

Feels like someone hit it with a bat a few weeks ago and I'm still recovering lol its only sore when I walk (well when I waddle). I'm 35 weeks. Has anyone else experienced this?

View 2 RepliesOn tuesday night I used vagisil for sensitive skin and the next day I noticed that down there it was irritated and itchy and had small bumps then thursday it was no better it was,itching and burning and white stiff started to form on the bumps now. I have not used vagisil since that night but now its just bad I have white bumps really bad near my vagina opening and a little inside to and it itches and burns constantly and I just want it to go away its friday and I wont be able to go to the doctors till monday what should I do to relieve my pain any home remedies or,how long will,it,take to go away I know its possible irritated from the vagisil wash or is it something more.
View 3 RepliesFor the past week or so, my vagina walls, close to my rectum have been very raw, itchy, and bleed when I wipe, I also have a clear mucus type discharge every time I go to the bathroom. Like it it being produced to "protect" the walls. It burns when urine gets on it. I have been putting baby diaper rash cream at night after my bath. Also, about 3 weeks ago, I had a fungal infection in my groin, that ended a few days before this started. I had prescription cream my mom gave me to put on it-that's what cleared it up. I'm 17, virgin and on no medication.

I know it was cause I looked down there with a mirror, and it was looking like a yeast infection. It seemed to go away after I stopped eating alot of sugar, and breads, and pastas. But then it came back. I have been looking at my clit in a mirror in my bedroom to check my process, and I had noticed a rip and half my clit was enlarged/irritated. The rip and the irritation kinda went away for a while, but then it started back up again a couple of days ago. I'm afraid to tell my mom, and I don't know why. But, is there anything I can do to help the symptoms go away.
P.S. since April 13th or so I started eating a lot of sugars again, could that cause the pain.

It was very red and my labia got very swollen... The swelling went down but i've still been dealing with the itching and burning. The skin on my vagina is very wet and it get hard and peels off every couple days. I went into my docs and they said it was vaginitis and a yeast infection on the outside. They gave me the 1 time yeast infection pill (don't remember the name) and i've been drowning my body in probiotics. Nothing is making it to away. It's still itchy and peeling and now it's moved up to my anus. Does anyone know what this is? Is it just a horrible yeast infection?
View 1 RepliesI am 4 weeks post op from ALIF at L5-S1. I've had discectomy done twice (2002 and 2012) The last one didn't help any so we did injections and that offered no relief so it was on to the fusion. So far I haven't reached that point where I'm feeling any relief. My surgeon acted like I should have felt relief immediately. I'm still having lower back, butt, and all the way down my leg into my ankle and foot pain (all of this on the LEFT side) I've read and been told it could be quite a while before I get any relief. I was told I would only be in the hospital for 24 hours and was in there for 4 days. I used a walker for the first week and a half or so. I can now move around without it, I'm just very careful. I mostly lay flat in bed with ice. I do get up quite often to walk around the house and have started sitting up in a chair that my Home PT set up for me when he came to visit immediately after surgery. I also do the exercises my PT gave me.
About 4 days ago, I was laying on my side and I reached back to turn my heating pad on. I guess I wasn't thinking and twisted too much. I felt a sharp pain in my back that shot down my leg. Every since then, I have had the worst pain in my back. (I still had the same amount of pain in my back/butt/leg/foot as I did before this surgery 6/10. This new pain has been added to a new place in my back, and when I move it goes up to about a 8/10) I was giving it a few days before I called my surgeon because I don't want to be one of those people who constantly call the dr with small issues that go away after only a few days. This definitely is showing no signs of letting up) The worst part is, they just moved my meds down from hydrocodone 10-325 every 4 hours to Hydrocodone 7.5-325 every 6-8 hours. (Previously to surgery I had been on percocet 10-325/6 hours since June of last year. My surgeon prescribed that for one week after surgery then refilled me with hydrocodone 10-325/4 hours the last 2 weeks. These really didn't do the job, but at least I was somewhat comfortable so I dealt with it.) Now that they changed me down again, I'm getting no relief. Especially with this new pain. Over the weekend I was taking more than I was suppose to and now I'm worried I won't be able to get a refill when I need it. I've been taking pain meds for a little over 2 years now. I look forward to the day I no longer have to rely on them just to be able to get up out of bed in the morning. That day just doesn't seem to be anytime soon. I feel that at the age of 36, I am too young to be in this kind of physical condition.
When I walk, I am bent over to my right side like a little old lady. I can't stand up straight. And each time I take a step with my left leg, it feels like someone is stabbing me in the lower back on my left side. Hopefully I can get some answers tomorrow when I call. I knew this surgery was going to be a long recovery, and I was prepared for that. This new pain really has me worried and I really hope I haven't done something to mess it up. I just don't feel like this pain is something I should be having
Has anyone else injured themselves while recovering from a fusion like this? If so, what was your results? Did it heal on it's own or what? I know everyone is different, it's just good to not feel quite so all alone thru this. No one understands unless they have been thru it. Especially doctors they seem to think that everything goes exactly like the "book" says it should. That's just not always the case.
I had a total robotic hysterectomy 5 weeks ago. Sunday night had unplanned sex. It was not painful, I'd say uncomfortable. When my husband ejaculated, it burned!
Today, Wed. Still burning, uncomfortable and frequent urination.
Does this sound like an infection? Or irritation because it was too soon.
I even resorted to using hydrocortisone last night because it was driving me crazy and I could not sleep.
I'm currently 34 weeks pregnant and last night I noticed a small bouncy ball size lump on the outside of my vagina. My mom thought it could be an ingrown hair so she told me to hold a hot washcloth on it and try "popping" it. Nothing happen so now I'm worried that there is something else going on. What could it possibly be?
View 1 RepliesI'm 28 weeks pregnant and just got hemorrhoids earlier this week as of about three days ago though i noticed some very painful blisters that have lined up along my vagina done research it doesn't look like any of the herpes outbreaks i've come across. all they do is hurt no itch no burning. i was told two days ago i had a severe bladder infection due to microbial parasite. im currently taking antibiotics and using witch hazel wipes. doc said these bumps are nothing to worry about. i disagree with how painful they are. thoughts please?
View 3 RepliesNeed answers for reason for the swelling sensation. Feels like vagina and rectum being pushed out as before. Went to doctor 1 week post op because of this, bladder still in place. Doctor had no explanation. Scheduled to go for check up in 3 weeks. This will be the 6th week since surgery. Can't rest or sleep well because of the constant swelling.
