Okay so I keep hearing that contractions with girls are a lot worse then they are with boys. With my son I had contractions in my back none in the front. But now everyone keeps saying oh girls are a lot worse you feel the contractions all in the front. Is this true or is it just another old wives tale? I'm 32+4 weeks.

Position Of The Palm And Blood Pressure

Some of the drugstore blood pressure machines in drug stores specify that your palm should be up. I am very inflexible and palm up is very awkward for me.

Today I did that and got 135/80 with my palm up. I tried it again with my palm down and got 107/70. (normal for me is about 120/80)

So, why does the palm have to be up?

Did the extreme variance happen because the 2nd one has my arm positioned improperly, or because the 1st one was uncomfortable, or because it is a crappy machine?

High Clitoris Position - Not Stimulated During Sex

I am 27 years old. i have quite a bit of sexual experience and i accepted the fact that i am more of a clitoral orgasm woman. or G-spot direct stimulation. But not during regular sex. I think my clit is situated a little too high than normal and that prevents it from being stimulated during the actual intercourse. I lot of porn i have seen, the penis shaft or at least the pubic bone rub the clit too. It never happens to me, no matter what position i have sex in. Do you think it's possible?

Hip Replacement :: Post Op Sleeping Position

I am beginning to see the wisdom of practicing sleeping on one's back pre op.  It may mean a couple of bad nights, but at least, over time, it will become the norm, and hopefully, the body will adjust.  My problem is that my Maine Coon, may leap on top of me.  She is a "whopper" so I may have to keep her out my bedroom for the first few nights, post op!  I have read websites that say that it is possible to sleep on the unoperated side, with a bolster between the legs so that the operated leg is kept in the right position, but again, the wisdom of this is up for debate.

Ear plugs sound to be a good idea, to screen out any background noise, and my Kindle will be a good "screen" with earphones, of course!

I am, of course, pre op, so do not fully understand what is considered to be the "norm" in terms of patient's' experiences for the first few days in hospital post op.  It rather looks as though a lot of post op care and monitoring depends on the patient's  general state of health, pre op, and any extenuating medical circumstances that require extra care and vigilance.

I am "psyching" myself up for almost anything, at this point!  I do not do well without at least seven hours' sleep per night, and it does sound as though sleep deprivation whilst trying to recover in hospital is a necessary "nuisance!"

Hair Disorders :: 19 And Hairier Than Average Girl

I am 19 years old and am hairier than the average girl my age. I have chin hair and mild lip, abdomen, foot, arm and leg hair. I went to my GP who said that since I have regular periods and such that it doesn't have anything to do with PCOS or anything. I've read that as I age, the hair is going to get worse and worse, is that 100% true? I can handle the hair I have now as it's not too too bad, but the thought of it getting worse makes me even more depressed.
