I normally do not like Pepsi but for some reason I am wanting Pepsi like crazy!! I know it's not good for the baby but I have been drinking it here and there trying not to drink too much.

View 7 RepliesI know caffeine is a big thing while pregnant, but lately I've been drinking soda everyday. And coffee I've been craving it, I don't want to drink coffee and soda in the same day. Could I be drinking to much caffeine? I don't want it later on being my fault for drinking to much. I cant help it sometimes. The past 2 days I haven't drink any soda nor coffee, but right now I'm craving some coffee.

View 1 RepliesHair and nails growing like crazy and I'm only 13+1 . I have a ways to go so imagine how long my hair will get. But in the contrary, I'm getting tons of hair every where else tho. It's so thick on my arms, under my arms pits, legs, stomach and my vagina. Whats causing me to grow hair every freaking where! Prenatals? ? Anybody else experiencing this? I've heard that some women lose hair or it sheds too.
View 4 RepliesI broken my tibia in my ankle 5 days ago! It is a small clean break! It hardly hurt at all, didn't cry until they said it was broken! No exciting story i was running up the stairs and went over on my right ankle on the landing!
I hardly had any swelling as I put ice on it straight away and went to a+e straight away. They put me in a temp cast. I found this very uncomfortable and went straight back in the morning as they said the break was very small and in a 'good place'. They said I could have a air boot.
I am due to go to the fracture clinic in just under two weeks! To check the progress!
My biggest problem is that I am going away in just 3 weeks and really not wanting to wear the airboot whilst I'm away! Could anyone advise me if this would possible!
Ok i have never done this before so here I go....I had a tubal ligation 8 years ago. Then life led me in a new direction and i want kids with m new husband. We have been together 6 yrs now and in those six years i have had 6 miscarriages. No doctor around my area do reversal and it is really expensive and our insurance doesn't cover it. My friend had 1 miscarriage went to the er and they reversed hers that next morning????? I could use some suggestions on what to tell my doctor so he will reverse this cause emotionally i am drained with having the miscarriages and not to mention the havoc it reeks on my body... We would love a baby and the reversal is 6200.00 in our state. I don't know what to do anymore. Even suggestions on some places that might finance us. I really want this reversed for my body and mind's sake are there programs to help me or doctors that can help.

I was just wondering if anyone had any information about the link between caffeine and blepharitis and whether anyone has given it up and seen their symptoms improve? Do doctors recommend this.
View 1 RepliesI was diagnosed with SVT years back and have had 2 ablation ops with no success. Too near my AV node. Exercise is the main catalyst for an episode with myself(rapid heart,sweating,have to stop, feel faint) but have the odd flutter and increased heart rate at any time. However i have stopped drinking Caffeine and what a difference. I have not had any episodes whilst out running for about 3 months now( used to be every other run) and have confidence in entering 10k runs and completing them without having to stop. I am going to start playing squash again and really test out my hypothesis.Also, i am not noticing my heart jumping or bouncing during the day now. Just wanted to share this with others as stopping caffeine as really benefited me. I check all labels on soft drinks and obviously no coffee or tea.

I feel focused, but it feels as if my thoughts are blocked and I can't think properly. I find it hard to understand basic life situations. I even find it hard to speak and understand language. I also seem to lose my short term memory and all of my actions feel meaningless. I never used to have a reaction like this in the past. In-fact, I used to benefit from nicotine and caffeine greatly. They helped me manage my symptoms of ADHD. Also, I quit consuming either of them for at least 2 months, and once using them again, I still experienced this effect. Why is this happening to me?
View 1 RepliesI was diagnosed with CP about a year ago. Since then I have quit alcohol, fatty foods, and exercising a lot. However, I noticed that although the pain had subsided, I was still getting this annoying pain from time to time. I finally got to know that coffee, coca cola, and a lot of tea during the day was causing the pain. Now I only drink one tea bag 3 times daily and the pain has gone. Hope this will help some of my friends with similar problem.on this forum.

View 1 RepliesI've been on 50mg sertraline and 80 mg propranolol for over a month now, for bad social anxiety and depression. I only take the propranolol in the morning before i go to work or if i have to go out somewhere or if i have visitors coming etc, so i only take one of those a day, occasionally 2. The sertraline i also take in the morning. I have started to notice a slight change - on some days at work i feel almost like a normal functioning human being and i am actually able to talk to people and be around people without having a complete irrational meltdown. Yay! This is not every day, i still have bad days and i still feel very low but if it is a sign of things to come i am feeling rather hopeful. Side effects haven't been too bad, the worst one i would say was the tired feeling and just feeling very out of sorts sometimes, kind of dizzy and fuzzy headed, off balance etc. But now i have started to have really crazy dreams every single night for the past week or so. I am managing to sleep eventually, although it does take me a while to drop off, but it's just the dreams now. Not nightmares as such, just absolutely weird and crazy dreams, every single night now, is anyone else having this problem?

It's been going on for a while and I still don't feel myself it's so hard to explain I just feel empty and numb, this has been going on for over two months. I don't know why I'm still feeling like this, I've seeked help and see a therapist, I take medication but my thoughts still scare me. For some reason I've got it in my head that I'm not okay and something is seriously wrong with me, Iv convinced myself that I'm going to end up in a mental institution, I'm so paranoid about my mind I can't concentrate on anything. It's stopping me from having fun. I'm so scared and worried I don't want this illness to send me crazy.
View 3 RepliesFor the past 2 years i have had trouble with my sleep, but more so in particularly this past year. It takes me up to and over and hour to fall asleep and even then on average i only get about 5 hours sleep on a good night, and am tired constantly throughout the day. This past year it seems worse as its effecting my eating habits and mood. I tend to forget to eat anything because i just don't get that feeling of being hungry and my moods seem to have completely flipped, I'm more short-tempered and emotional. I have tried everything to help me sleep better. less caffeine, not using technology before bed, setting up a sleep routine, relaxing before sleep. Nothing seems to work, and i'm a bit dubious about going to my GP because i don't know how they could help me.
