The wipers work fine, but it isn't spraying washer fluid. It's 3 degrees outside. I am not sure if there is a fuse for the washer fluid sprayer motor...
View 27 RepliesI have an 05 F-150 SuperCrew XLT 4x4. I just went to use my wipers and its not spraying anything. The driver side nozzle drips a little bit out, the passenger side does nothing. I can hear the motor engage and there is fluid in the reservoir. I can't see any leaks.

View 6 RepliesI can hear the sprayer motor when I activate the toggle, but no spray from the squirters! (in the past I've encountered this on a honda, usually we'd just pull the squirter and soak it in a cup of solvent then pop it back on after shooting it black) but on the B6 it looks more complicated!!!

I press the washer lever towards and the washer fluid comes out, but the wipers don't move. They are not stuck on the windshield because of ice or anything either. What can I check?The next question is the turn signal. What does the lever do when you push the lever towards the dash? It clicks, but I don't notice that it does anything?
View 8 RepliesI have an '08 Lux wagon with rain sensing wipers and automatic headlights. When I spray the windshield with washer fluid, the wipers don't come on to wipe it away. This occurred today, and the wipers would not activate no matter what position I put the control stalk in. Then, after a few seconds, they came on and cleared the windshield. I have not noticed any other issues with the wipers. What might be going on here?
View 7 RepliesCurios problem with my car. When I spray washer fluid quickly the wipers do not start. I can literally empty litres of fluid on the windshield and they still will not activate. Now on other cars I have had you can play chicken and pull quickly on the lever and this I can do a off a couple of times without activating the wipers but not constantly. I had it in for service and the mechanic said he has never seen this problem before and does not even know how to fix it. It does get annoying that you have to waste a lot more fluid to activate the wipers "auto" function by holding it on a few seconds longer than needed.

View 2 RepliesMy 2012 Sonota's message center has just recently come up with this message 'Low washer fluid' which will not go away. The car has a low windshield washer fluid light which is not 'on' (to indicate a low fluid situation). I have filled the reservoir which has done nothing to either status (the low warning message, or the low warning light). It seems to me the both indicators should be saying the same thing but are not. The windshield washers are working just fine. I would like to clear the warning message. Is there a way?
View 7 RepliesMy windshield washer does not spray when I pull the switch, the front and rear do no have any fluid spraying onto the window, I replaced the windshield washer pump with a new OEM, put fluid in the tank, I checked the fuses associated with the wiper blades. I don't think I can even hear the windshield washer pump when I pull on the switch, so could it be a connector issue? or some wiring issue?
View 3 RepliesI filled my washer tank full, when tried to spray, only the wiper moved but the solution never came.In the evening, i cleaned the spouts, with a tiny pin hoping that it will clear the dirt out, tried, didn't work either. Opened the hood, and saw the tank empty to my embarrassment. Is the pump broken, hose broken , what to look for and where and how to fix ?
View 6 RepliesMy rear windshield washer has stopped working, does the MkVI have a separate pump for the front and rear washer fluid sprayers? My front sprayer is still working, fluid is full, and I don't see any VCDS codes relating to the rear windshield washer motor. Since I am approaching a wet season, it would be best if the rear washer worked. I am still under warranty but just wanted to know if there are two sprayer pumps on our cars.
FWIW, I have not had a problem with the rear washer dripping and no TSB have been performed on the rear washer.

The next to last time I used it, I got a dribble, so I figured that I needed fluid...added more fluid, but it was still half full, I pressed the button, I heard noise, probably the pump. but no fluid. Could it be something as simple as a clog? I could tear it apart.

I took the nozzles and pump from my 2000 SOHC Explorer that worked great and put them on the OHV one and still dribble.
I even cleaned out the lines first. How to get these to function properly?
I have an 09 Camry SE. My right windshield spray nozzle is not spraying, it's just flowing out. I ran a small wire down it and nothing changed. I called 2 dealers and looked up the part and there are 5 different angles listed the dealers said I had to remove it so they could match the angle for the pitch of the windshield. Seems ridiculous that they would not know,but the parts breakdown lists all 5.
View 4 RepliesI have a 2005 Pontiac Grand Prix V6 and for some reason my washer fluid sprayer just stopped working. Yes, the fluid is full...hahaa. So anyways, I checked the fuses and they seem to be ok. What I can check before tearing it apart or bringing it in? How do you know if the motor is bad? Where is the motor located in this car? The wipers are working fine, but it'd be nice to clean the windows.
View 1 Repliesi have a 1995 sierra 2500 gas series. then my horn and my washer fluid aren't working. i cleaned all my ground posts and put in new fuses. when i hit the horn, you can hear the relay switch clicking. and, when i first went to use the washer fluid, it squirted once, then stopped. i checked and cleaned all ground posts. i also used an ohm meter on both horns' plugs. there's power coming to the horns???

I started some troubleshooting and missed some clear indicators of the problem.
->Rear fluid works
->No pump engagement when trying the front fluid
Wasn't sure if I had 1 or 2 pumps (separate front and back or just one) so I bought one, tore out the reservoir (that air intake was a tough one), swapped the pumps and PRESTO! Still didn't work.
This leads me to believe I should have realized it was switch/power related all along. I don't mind tearing things apart, but I'm not good with electrical. Should I just buy a new whole stock and see if that works? My fuse isn't blown and seems to also be for the power windows, which do work, so I think I should be fine from that point.
I just bought an 07 Hyundai Entourage (Kia Sedona clone) a little over a month ago. We had our first storm last week and my wife tried to use the washer fluid on the rear and it didn't work (it was below freezing). I looked at it and the front didn't work either (no noise from pump motor either). So I found out it has a pump for the front and one for the rear but they are on the same fuse. Checked the fuse and it was blown.
I thought maybe it was due to the fluid in the car freezing (no anti freeze fluid probably). Put the new fuse in, tried the front for about 5 seconds and it worked. Tried the rear for 5, it worked. Tried the front again, nothing. Tried the rear again nothing. Pulled the fuse again accept it wasn't blown. Put a couple of different fuses in. Nothing. I did this while it was above freezing...? could both pumps have burnt up at the same time? Is there any other fusible link between the motor and switch?
