I can't get my passenger door open. The car has electric door locks, they are working, the door does have a key, it works, both handles seem ok, but the door does not unlatch. I can't get the inside panel off since it is closed. I'm considering trying pop a lock???
View 1 RepliesThe front passenger car door just closed and wouldn't open from either side. It is not locked, and lock is functional. Nothing budges.
Husband uses this car as a rural mail delivery vehicle and drives it from the front passenger side. On the route today, it failed to open for him during the route -- very inconvenient to move all that mail to get in and out.
He needs to take the inside door panel off but doesn't see how with having the door open.
2001 Buick Regal LS 3.8L. When I am driving over 20MPH my front passenger side of the car starts to shake. This shaking causes the steering wheel to shake as well. I am not sure what the cause is and if it something that a novice can fix. The front brakes are new with little to no wear on my rotors. I have rotated my tires to see if the shaking stopped or moved to the rear of the car. After the tire rotation the shaking persisted. If I turn the steering wheel sharply I hear a squealing noise. I do not know if that is related or not.

Ive came down to the conclusion that it might be the temperature sensor idk whatelse to do. Ive changed the thermostat about a month ago.

View 1 RepliesMy 96 Buick Regal acts like it is out of gas after driving for about 10 min. Takes awhile to start, then runs rough if at all. After it sits, it runs fine again for about 10 min. I changed fuel filter, fuel pressure sensor and fuel pressure regulator.
View 4 RepliesI own a 1996 Buick Regal with 132k miles on it, 3.1L six cylinder. The other day I was doing some general maintenance and noticed that the exhaust smelled like sulfur (rotten eggs). Now, I am loosely familiar with the causes of such a thing but not well enough to diagnose it properly the first time. The car has been idling rough since I got it (almost a year ago now), I have a feeling that it could be the O2 sensor causing the rough idle and the sulfur smell but I am not completely sure. I should have one of those fancy three-part injector cleaners done?
View 6 RepliesI have a 1996 Buick Le Sabre. There is a bad water leak onto the passenger side back floorboard. I have taken it to the dealer and two repair shops. They are stumped. A hard Florida rain can get 2 inches of water on the floor. Tried re-gluing the rubber seal. That did not work.
View 5 RepliesI have a 96 buick regal thats been giving me problems for over a year now. it from time to time acted like it was out of gas even though it might have a half a tank. Turns over fine but won't start after it sits for a couple of days then it starts fine. Last summer my son replaced the fuel pump after doing a pressure test and getting a low reading. No more problems until jan then it started doing it again. Well about 3 months ago it wouldn't start so I had my wife turn the key on and I stuck my ear in the fuel fill tube and I could not hear the fuel pump.
I checked the fuel pump relay by putting my finger on top of it and I can feel it click when the key is turned on. Also the air relay next to it is the same so I switched them no change so I replaced the fuel pump again and also the sending unit so every thing in the tank is new. Car still won't start can't hear the pump running and i checked for spark no spark now. My other son has been saying he thinks its the ecm so I just put a reflashed used ecm in. Did the security relearn procedure still nothing. whats next? Somebody told me check the cam and crank sensors and wiring. I also replaced all the ignition coils last summer.
I have a drivers side door handle with no resistance. I tried to pull up too hard while door seals were frozen. I can open door from inside I can lock unlock but, can not open drivers side from outside!!!! What I did to it and what to do to fix.
View 1 RepliesI have a 96 buick regal custom. I tried to program a keyless fob through the trunk it dint work and now my lock buttons on the inside of my car don't work but yet they automatically lock and unlock when I turn on the car when I go into and out of park gear.
View 3 RepliesOk, here is the problem: 1997 Buick Park Ave driver's door will not open from inside or outside. It will not unlock. The inside lock/unlock button will not move to unlock position. Using the key from outside will not unlock the door. This happened on the coldest day of the year (15 degrees). I'd love to take off the door panel to look inside but I can't open the door! I'm getting tired of entering and exiting the car from the passenger door!
View 3 RepliesOk, my 1996 Buick Regal is acting up. I got a CEL, which was a P0306 (Cylinder #6 misfire), took the car to my shop, and they diagnosed as a faulty Ignition Control Module. Fast Forward, a day later, the car now has a hard start problem and throwing the same code, plus a P0102 Mass Airflow Sensor.
So my questions are:
1) Could a faulty ICM cause a single cylinder misfire, did they just replaced a random part? I would think a bad ICM would a multiple misfire considering on this car each coil controls 2 cylinders.
2) Are the two codes related? ie fix one, and the other would go away? or are they separate issues?
3) What could be wrong with my car?
This mechanic has been in my family for years, however, I'm not very pleased that a day later, my car seems to have more problems than before. Am I being too harsh?
I have a 97 Buick Regal with turn signal issues. The left side will not flash but stays lit and the right side flashes fast. I have the problem isolated to the Daytime Running Light Module. (replaced turn signal stalk, flasher and bulbs). I ran a jumper wire bypassing the module and everything works as it should. Do I need to replace this module, or can I simply bypass it without it messing anything else up. I don't want my horn going off when I change the station on the radio.

View 5 RepliesI have problems with passenger side front door. It won't lock/unlock when holding the hand on the handle or when pressing the button on the handle. Everything is fine on driver side and when using the lock button from the arm rest on the same driver side of Prius. It is also OK when I unlock/lock the car with the FOB.
View 7 RepliesThe passenger side rear door will not open. I've tried from the outside handle, inside handle, jerking, pushing, etc. Nothing.
How in the world can I find out and fix the problem if I can't get the door open to get the door panel off??? And yes, I've tried unlocking it...
When I open my door or the driver's side passenger door, there is a thwump or suction- like noise that sounds as if it is coming from the trunk.
I had a repair done a few weeks back and had a loaner 2014 TDI SE, and it had the exact same sound.
I have a 1999 F350 and the passenger side front door suddenly will not open with the inner handle but it will open if I roll down the window and open it from the outside. The inside seems like it is locked but the locks are all working fine and all the other doors are working just fine .....
View 2 RepliesMy passenger side front and rear windows dont work. Both driver side windows work, just not the right side/passenger side.
Also when I press the master door lock/unlock switch on the driver seat, every door except the rear passenger door works. It stays unchanged so I guess it is not receiving a signal or something is not letting the signal reach the lock.
We recently had a snow/ice/rain/ice/snow storms. I was clearing off the storm by products off my car and I tried to open the door but, the seals were froze so I hip checked the door and tried to press the issue to open it. Now I have a latch with no resistance too it and I can not open my driver's door from the outside. I can open from inside and locks but, no tug resistance. I have NOT taken the inside panel off to see what is going on yet. What it will take to fix?
