I have an '02 camry v6. My hazard lights started blinking when the car is off and aren't responding to the on/off button. When I turned the car on they stopped for a few seconds then blinked rapidly several times, then back to normal blinking. I tried disconnecting the battery and restarting the car. The battery is only a few months old. What could be causing it? Where is the fuse for it located?

View 2 RepliesSo, I'm driving back from the beach currently (typing this on the side of the road). All appears to be fine with the car. Then all of the sudden, the hazards start blinking and I can't turn them off. I pull over (currently), get out to walk around, see nothing wrong. Not running hot, not anything whatsoever. Sit a couple of minutes, and they go off by themselves.
I've been cruising for the past 3 hours, no problems. No warning lights on the dash.
Got into my car this morning turned on the car and the hazard lights started to blink . Thought I might have pressed the hazard lights button , so of course I press the button into the lower position and the lights are still on .. Then I press the button again into the raised position and put the car into drive and now the hazard lights start to blink faster as I accelerate ( now my Prius Became a police cruiser ) it's obvious I have a short some where , or the relay went bad . If it's the relay, where can I find the relay in the car? Looked in both fuse boxes and I couldn't find it . I've since pulled the fuse on the hazard/ signal lights. I'd rather try to fix this my self before I have to pay Toyota to rob me blind .
View 2 RepliesMy Jetta has had an off-and-on clicky turn signal sound without turn signals or hazard lights actually blinking. I put up with it for a while, but recently it's been more clicky than not. I'm aware this is a common problem. I had already tried the cleaner spray "trick" which made the problem worse if anything. Today, I removed my signal stalk as described here and gave it a cleaning. After re-assembling, the clicky problem didn't go away, and now the high beams are always on (even with the key out of the ignition, and the car isn't running). I temporarily dealt with this by pulling fuses 18 and 19 for high beams. It's an ok short-term workaround. Low beams still work fine.
I'm considering replacing the hazard signal relay, but a while ago I messed up while trying to use ghetto removal keys to pull my radio.
My 2007 F150's turn signals and hazard lights quit working. I checked the fuse and it was blown. Once I pulled the old fuse out the truck wouldn't start at all. What happened?

View 1 RepliesI have a 2002 golf MKIV GTI and the hazard lights will flash whenever I pull the emergency break. Sometimes the emergency brake light won't go on when I pull it up but once the light engages the hazards will flash on, also I think it might have something to do with my car not shutting off sometimes. I will remove the key but the engine won't turn completely off unless I press the brake pedal but only if the emergency light is on is when that happens.

View 13 RepliesI have a 2005 VW Passat. The front left and right axle were replaced and since then, I have noticed that the ASR (ESP) hazard light will blink and engage the brakes when I hit 60 mph. The light is never constant, it will only blink on and off a couple of times. I've taken it back to the same shop...they claim they've checked the sensors but the problem still persists. I've also taken it to an authorized VW dealership...they indicate it's a problem with the sensors...obviously, I could have them try and fix it, but hesitate to pay for something that the other garage should fix.

View 2 RepliesMy passenger side front signal light works properly, but when I turn my hazard lights on it will not blink normally (the other 3 blink). Inside my truck when looking at my dash I see the small green blinking arrow for the left signal, but not for the right when the hazards are on. When using the signal normally, I see the small blinking green arrow for the right signal though.

Car wouldn't start the other morning and figured a dead battery but found it to be charged. Things are going haywire in the car lights blinking,relays clicking etc when i try to start it. Car was acting fine just a day prior and gave no indication that something was wrong. It's a 93 3.0 v6. I'm gonna pull the starter and check the wiring before i write it off.

The leds have their own controller and will be separate from any other lights/wiring. What I need is some way to trigger a relay to turn on the led's. Was hoping to tap into the hot lead off the hazard switch itself but that's not an option!
View 2 RepliesI have a 2002 F150 FX4 Lariat, and last week while driving at night with the light switch turned to auto lamp the lights suddenly started turning on and off rapidly and there was a clicking noise, which I assume was a relay cutting out. I turned the headlamp switch to the on position and the lights stayed on. When I got home the lights would not turn off, and when I turned it to autolamp the blinking started again, but in any other position the lights stayed on. I had to unhook the battery. I then purchased a new headlamp switch and my ford mechanic buddy installed it, but now the autolamp feature will not work. Is there a relay that may have got cooked?
