how to program transponder key in 7th gen camry. There are a lot of instructions online for up to 08' year, but nothing after that.

Camry :: How To Program Transponder Key For 2005 SE
Recently, I've been looking into making a copy of my ignition key for my 2005 Camry SE. I bought a blank on eBay, had it cut to fit my master key, and it works fine for locking and unlocking the doors. However, since it is a Transponder Key, apparently I need to program it in some way to use it for ignition.
I've been looking all over for instructions on how to do this, and have tried this commonly repeated method, with no success:
1. Simultaneously depress and release brake and accelerator pedals 1 time.
2. Insert an original Master Key into the ignition but do not turn it.
3. Within 15 seconds depress and release accelerator pedal 5 times.
4. Within 20 seconds depress and release the brake pedal 6 times and remove key.
5. Within 10 seconds insert New Key into ignition but do not turn it.
6. Within 10 seconds depress and release the accelerator pedal 1 time.
7. Now sit and wait for about one minute until the security light in the center counsel stops blinking and turns off.
8. Remove new key and depress and release brake pedal 1 time.
9. Test your key now. It should work if you followed the instructions. If not, you may want to try the following instructions:
To reiterate, these instructions have not worked for me.
Have any other 2005 Camry SE owners managed to program a key successfully? What method did you use?
Corolla / Matrix 2009-13 :: How To Program 2012 LE Transponder Remote Key
New owner of a used 2012 corolla. I only have one remote key. After digging through google and ebay. I brought a set of new remote keys with the known warning that I have to take it to the dealer for programming.
What tools to get to have this program by myself. It just cost too much over $150 from dealer just to program a key not counting over $250 dollar for the key itself.
Camry :: Program Another Transponder Key With The Gray Valet Key?
Bought the 04 Solara with just the Gray Valet key that has the transponder in it.
Valet key will start the car but not lock/unlock the glove box or truck lock.
Do I need a black Master key to program a new transponder key?
or can I do it with the Valet key since it has (I think) the same transponder chip?

I have heard that there is a way to program the FOB so that when you hold down the UNLOCK key for a few seconds the windows and sunroof opens.
is there a way to program this ourselves? Or is this only available at the dealer, and if so, will there be a cost associated with it?
Camry :: 02 LE I-4 - Having A Transponder Key?
Bought this car from a guy who but aftermarket electric locks on the car so the keys are not factory OEM. My dingy 16yr daughter has lost one of the keys and broke the plastic off (don't ask me how the heck she managed that) the top part of the loop on the only other one we have so now it can't go on a key ring.
I went to get an oil change last week and the service guy told me it WAS a transponder key. The keys the hardware cut for me don't turn the door lock or the ignition so there might be an issue with the cutting.
I checked my manual and it says my car may not have the Engine Immobilizer system. There is supposed to be a security LED light on the dash next to the A/C knob, BUT there isn't!! This makes me think I have a plain old regular key with NO transponder?!?!
I have read but have not been able to determine for sure that the Camry LE with I-4 did NOT come with the Engine Immobilizer so therefore - NO transponder key.

I have a 2003 camry lx 4 cyl .i bought this car for a family member last year.one of the main reasons i choose this year {other than price} was the fact that all of the camry's 03 and up have transponder keys. the vehicle has a remote start feature with some aftermarket alarm fob, installed from the previous owner. im not even sure what was done. all i found was a bunch of relays under the dash. i see no actual alarm functions , heck i cant even find the alarms brain or remote start brain.
I went to home depot today to get another copy of the key. the key-maker told me that there was no transponder in the key,just to be sure i had him do a $2 copy of the key. to my surprise the basic key copy turned the car on. all this time i thought this vehicle was secure enough that i didnt have to worry that a novice car thief could take my car away.
How easy is it to bypass the transponder key ? can a remote start bypass the transponder key altogether. Is it possible that the previous owner installed a ecu from a 2002?did he just pop a fuse? I am trying to diagnose what was done.

Since I cannot program addresses into the NAV system while my wife drives the car (or vice versa), I tried to just program them in while the car was parked on the driveway. However the car shuts itself off after about 2 minutes regardless of what I'm doing. I figure if I put the car into drive it would work, but I was charging at the time so the car wouldn't let me.

I just bought a used 2009 Camry, which has a remote starter installed, but my key will not operate it. From what I understand, the original owner lost the key that was programmed to work with it, and the replacement key does not. I have four keys: one is entirely metal, one is black plastic with no logo, one is black plastic with Toyota logo, and the last one has all the buttons which pop the trunk, and remotely lock and unlock the vehicle. I have a 2003 Camry I4. My RKE stopped working. First I checked the battery in the remote, it reads 3v like it should. I searched and found how to reprogram the the receiver, so I tried that. I did the door and key dance and got to where when you pull the key out and the door locks lock then unlock. I try pushing the lock and unlock button, then just the lock button as per the instructions and I get nothing. Supposed to get one cycle of the locks if it works and tow cycles if it doesn't. I get neither of those, nothing happens. So I buy a new remote off of eBay (brand new, never used, OEM remote). I try the reprogram door dance again and get the same results. The battery in the new one reads 3v like it should as well. So I go off to a junk yard to replace the receiver door controller, I found one and replaced it and I get the same exact results.

I have a 2006 Avalon XLS. Great car. Came with 1 cut master key and 2 remotes. I bought two blanks off amazon with the right transponder chip and had them cut for $5. Now I need to use my master to program the transponders in the two new keys. Or to get the car to recognize the two new keys to start it. They just turn and crank right now.
Any way to do this without the dealer? Mine wants $120 for programming. I do have the black master key.
I have tried the whole master key on off six times and open close drivers door five times deal. I cannot get my security light to stay on to accept new keys.

Ever since I have mounted my EZ-Pass transponder my rain-sensing wipers do not work properly. The transponder is attached to the windshield with two double-sticky pieces of velcro behind the rearview mirror. Basically the wipers now only work on the lowest setting. On medium and high they constantly run even with clean dry windshield.
Is there a known good way to mount the transponder so it doesn't affect the rain sensor?

Just started. Replace fuel pimp and bracket 8 months ago. Now, three times in two days ...freely cranks, but does not fire. It has been suggested by a key man that my ignition key "Ring Transponder(??) is failing, about a $50.00 part.
Any links to a step-by-step to where I could do this myself? ($$$). I don't know what to call it, so it makes it hard to search online. the part he referred to in under my ignition switch shroud...but that"s all I know. (I was driving when I talked to him and forgot the exact term he used (I'm old, and easily confused by anything post ignition points and condenser)

Yesterday I took test drive of Toyota Camry SE 2012 (New).It was really good, except: When I came out of the car, I felt some change in vision and a bit of headache. The feeling was something similar to when you wear glasses which has significant number for a minute and then you take them off.I figured out this was because of the windshield having some distortions. So, are all new Camrys like this only or there was something wrong with that particular windshield?
