I have a corolla 2010 S and I think the blower is not working properly. It work in all speeds but in the max speed (4) you could hear and feel that the air flow varies. There is a little noise coming from the glove compartment. I already change the cabin air filter and still do it. I have to change the blower ?
View 1 RepliesI remove the radio from my Matrix. When reinstalling the trim, I damaged the left have heater control (the one which controls where the air comes out). I put that back in, now the fan doesn't work. All the push butting on the AC controls light up when I want them to, but the fan doesn't work.
I don't have a repair manual or wiring diagram, but I figure it has to be something really simple. I have looked at the fuses (I think).
My driver side low beam is not working. I checked the bulb and it's fine. I also checked the fuse and it's fine. Took it to the dealer and they said could be a few hours of labour to determine where the problem is in the wiring.
View 8 RepliesI recently started having a problem with the air conditioning on my Axio. For some reason the blower refuses to turn off, even if the car is off. If i put on the A/C it blows at the highest speed, even if i try to low down the fan and its getting pretty annoying now!!

View 4 RepliesThe 12 V power outlet on my 2009 Corolla has quit working. Checked the fuse and it is not blown still no adapter works when plugged into the socket. The car just turned over 36,000 so it's now out of warranty (good thing the water pump failed at 32,000). The owners manual only shows fuses in the engine compartment is a separate fuse block for the dash that could be blown or perhaps a disconnected socket or wiring problem. How to access the back of the 12 V power socket? BTW my dealer has informed me that since my cars VIN begins with J it is not affected by the gas pedal recall. Haven't seen this anywhere so thought I'd share it.
View 13 RepliesI have an '09 Corolla S with the non-JBL sound system, 6 disk in-dash changer and 6 speakers. I am getting no sound from the speakers except a small burst of static when I turn the ignition on and once in a while sporadic static. The Radio is still playing CD's, FM, Etc, but no sound. All fuses are good and the clock works. I disconnected the factory iPod interface and still nothing. I also tried a different aftermarket HU, but still no sound... I'm on the road all the time so I'm over 50,000k and there is no warranty left on the radio. I've also torn the dash out checking wires and connections and can't seem to find anything abnormal.
View 12 RepliesRecently the control knob is not working. No matter what position I select it to, it comes out the top Vents. I took it to the dealership And they said the cable is severed and would cost around 700 to replace it. I was wondering if the cable is one like a rod that pushes the controller or if it is digital. Also I was wondering if I could just the middle of the dash to get to it or would the whole dash have to come out. I could do it myself if I can get to it from the middle.
View 2 RepliesAt night, when I turn the key to "on". The stereo light (orange)'s illuminated but no light coming from the dashboard. Other lights on the dashboard -- e.g. engine check, oil, door indicators are fine. When I start the car, the stereo light's gone away and I still have no dashboard lights. I tried to change the channel, put in a CD, increase/decrease volumes but none of those activated the light. All other functionalities seem to be working fine.
I checked the fuse box under the dashboard console. All fuses look good to me. What might be going on or I just simply have bad dashboard light bulbs? What's about the stereo lights?
I have a Corolla 2009 LE and few days ago I have noticed that my secondary 12v lighter plug which is at the bottom of the box between two front seats is not working. I used to use it to with a cheap charger for my old phone and at one point the charger stopped working but I have never checked the plug it self. So recently I got a new phone with the charger but I figured out that the plug itself has no power to it. One in the front dashboard works but I use that one for GPS.
Now I have searched the net to try and figure if any other Corolla owners have reported the issue and found quite a few. They were mentioning that it's most likely a micro fuse burned out which is located under the steering wheel to the left. So I found the box, opened it from the bottom and there are about 20 Micro fuses there but I can't figure out which one would be the one that breaks the power to that secondary 12v plug in the box between the two front seats.
Im new to this modification game but im very eager to get started. I have a 2010 LE and am kind of put off that a majority of parts seem to be made for the S model, the only differences I know between the LE and S is looks am I wrong? And are there any aftermarket Head Units with a screen that are reliable and not cheap looking or feeling? Also I haven't really seen a definite answer on whether coil overs or springs are better for a drop?
View 3 RepliesI have a toyota corolla 2011 and I dont remember when window auto down stopped working or if it worked at all. I never disconnected the battery, not sure about if the dealer has done it after I took it for service before. Or maybe the auto down is fake?

View 1 RepliesThe 2011+ corollas have an option to have a usb/line in jack for the radio which is by the time clock. I have a 2010 corolla with just the line in jack aux input. Can I get the usb/line in jack part from the 2011 corolla and hook it up the wire that was originally connected to the line in jack connector? Or do I need part PT233-47100?

I guess when they tried to resolve the trunk leak their mechanic smeared some oil on the headliner. Whats the best way to remove the oil stains on the headliner?
I have a 2010 corolla s 1.8 liter. A couple months I started having a rough idle. It will drop below 600 for a second right at the point of stopping and then raise back up. While sitting at a light it will drop down and shake and then go back up. Had a couple people look at it including Toyota and they say it's normal. It did not do it a couple months ago so I know it's not normal.
View 12 RepliesMy 2010 LE has been having this issue for a little while now. Whenever I start up the car when the engine is still warm, (an hour or two after initially driving it), the engine will sputter for around 3-4 seconds, but will always start up. On cold starts, like every morning, the car will start normally. There are no noticeable rpm problems while driving either.
View 2 RepliesI have a 2010 Corolla S that I bought new. It has a manual transmission, 19k miles and I have not had any problems until recently. Let me start by saying I've been driving a manual for over 20 years so I know how to drive them.
That night, in 1st gear it rolled out of my driveway. My driveway has a mild incline that the car has been parked on for a year this way with no problems. When I went to pull it back on it gave me trouble starting as if the starter got stuck but did not engage with the motor. Once started I pulled it back on and noticed that every few seconds it rolls back a couple inches then stops and holds for 15-20 seconds then rolls again.
It does this until it finds a flat spot to land on. Everytime its parked on my driveway now it wont stay there. Now before you tell me to use the p-brake, which by the way is the dealerships solution, let me remind you that the car has been parked in this spot everyday for a year with NO issues until last week.
Since this started I've been using the p-beake but I want to know why its doing this all of a sudden.
