Ford 6.0L Power Stroke Diesel :: 2006 - No Start When Died After Shudder - Code P2291?

I have a 06 6.0 no start . I was at a light felt a slight shudder went to take off felt another shudder and it just died. Changed fuel filters, unplugged icp no start still. No code at first now throwing p2291. Fuel pressure is at 62 when cranking. Hooked up air to the icp port and only heard air coming out of both valve covers inlets. Ipr was at I believe 60 to 65% when cranking. Little back round 2 years ago I did the whole sinister diesel top end kit and put the updated parts in. New o rings on everything that took them, new egr valve, standpipes and dummy plugs. On the injectors all new o rings and crush washers. I believe that's everything.

Ford 6.0L Power Stroke Diesel :: Truck Died And Refused To Start - Code P0603

So I have been fighting an electrical issue off and on since I bought the Excursion and I am at my wits end!

Put in 2 injectors. 1 in November and 1 last week. Thinking that it would fix my P0603 and the missing issue I was having. Plus the truck tossed a code for #4 and #5 injector. According to a snap on scanner and my AE the injectors were bad. The missing issues are gone, but I keep getting a p0603.

Go back to the middle of May. Truck died and refused to start. I put a fuel pump in it due to lack of fuel at one point thru the no starts. Shop had it 2 weeks and replaced the Cam sensor. Truck has been spot on for the last month zero issues.

Fast forward to today! Hooked up the trailer and loaded my tow tune. Check codes before hand and have a P132b code. Look it up and is a multitude of things to check. Clear code, tune the truck and head out for the weekend. Sat in traffic for 95 minutes to go 13 miles to the highway I needed to get to.

Driving the truck I had zero issues, until I got off the exit ramp to the campground. During the 2 hour drive I monitored a few pids on the scan gauge to see how things were on the truck after the work. The following are driving down the road at 2k RPMS 70 MPH give or take 5 MPH.

boost 7.3
map 22.9
EOT 225
FWT 211
TFT 163
CPM .28
ICV 1.9
VGT 57
IPR 37.3
CVI 4-5 (fluctuates)
SYNCH went to 0 when it died.

Truck shuts off and restarts right away and keeps running. I get to the campground and hook up the tuner to the truck and I have 2 different codes. My buddy the KAM P0603 and a new one Crankshaft sensor Pos A/ I can not remember what the code # was.

So after dropping 1500.00 on the truck the last 2 months, I am at a loss. The shop I took it to was a new place for me and I was not impressed. The lack of communication, 3 scratches on the truck and saying the truck had a miss and they didn't look at the injectors at all.

The 2 options I have are 45 miles away or 100 miles away. After today I believe it is an electrical issue and would rather spend a weekend of my time trying to find it. Where are the known chaffing points on the 03' 6.0L.

Ford 6.0L Power Stroke Diesel :: Died - Low Fuel Pressure - Blew White Smoke - Diesel Smell?

no change, changed stand pipe and dummy plug on driver side, no change and guess what? Now I am stuck on the side of the road waiting to give my last $100 to a tow truck! Engine is hydrolocked, fuel pressure is low, starts off at around 20 and works up to 54 with key on engine off, and that is as much as I know from the side of the road with out my AE. Blew white smoke also. Smelled of unburnt diesel. I think it's linked to my rough running issue. Maybe a bad injector? But every time I did the click test they all passed. Idk, I'm gonna remove the glow plugs and see which hole is loaded and with what. . .

Ford 6.0L Power Stroke Diesel :: Died In The Driveway?

AE shows 600+ ICP while cranking, 48.5v-49v ficm continuously, has sync, has 50 psi fuel with manual gauge, replaced fuel filters with Ford, fresh oil change, 2 new batteries, cleaned EGR, no codes.

Prior to this I changed the driver's side injectors because (before I had AE) Ford said it needed #8 (power balance) due to a stutter at minimal load at highway speed. Figured I'd change them all due to 290,000 miles. Had enough cash for 1 side this month. Ran great! Had AE hooked up and showed all good pressure, volts, temps then died in the driveway.

Ford 6.0L Power Stroke Diesel :: DC Power 270XP Alternator Died Suddenly?

After 2yrs and 1mo, my DC power 270XP amp died. I put the almost 10 yr old factory alt back on and everything is good again, except for the glaring fact that I have a dead alternator. It is a month beyond warranty (of course).

Truck has been running great. Oil cooler, EGR bulletproof cooler, STC done in Dec at Ford due to high deltas. I have a small stereo - one 12" sub woofer, otherwise nothing that really stresses the electrical system. I did the "big three" with 1/0 copper - cost a fortune, saw no difference - but that could have been an issue for the alt.

I left a message today with etch support but did not get a call back. I hope they make good on this - I waited almost 4 mo's to get this thing and it was supposed to outlast my truck.

Ford 6.0L Power Stroke Diesel :: 2006 F250 Lost Power Then Died

My 2006 F250 was towing my 5th wheel when it started to loose power and eventually died. Would not restart. Replaced all fuel filters to no avail. Towed to mechanic shop. Has a little over 100,000 miles on it. Waiting for mechanic to check it out.

Ford 6.0L Power Stroke Diesel :: Power Loss - Died - FICM?

So, I was on a road trip to Arkansa from Missouri when my truck started loosing power and eventually just died. After I tore through some stuff, I realized the ficm was just floating around off the brackets and even better yet, missing the top cap where you voltage test. And to my great luck, there was a small coolant leak that dripped it's way right into it.. So now I'm looking at replacements and it looks like I'm going to go with the Bulletproof Diesel ficm. But my question is, can I just swap them out and go.? My truck is tuned with an SCT tuner and was tuned up when it died. Should I tune it back to stock before I put a new one in or put the new one in and then put it stock and retune it after that.? Or is it more complicated than that and I should just let my mechanic deal with it.?

Ford 6.7L Power Stroke Diesel :: Check Engine Light Came On / Reduced Power Then Died

I started my '16 6.7 this am and drove it about a mile.

The check engine light came on and at the same time the display said "Reduced Power". I decide to turn around and try to make it back to my shop but shortly after turning around the display said "Low Fuel Pressure" and within a couple of hundred yards it shut down leaving me stranded by the side of the road.....

I called my local dealer who gave me the Ford Cares 800 number. I got a flat bed in about 1.5 hours which I didn't think was too bad considering I live in the country and they brought it to the dealer. The SA said it might be a couple of days before they could look at it as they were pretty busy... What it could be? The engine is stock with 9100 miles on it...

Ford 6.0L Power Stroke Diesel :: 2004 F250 Power Loss / Died And Now Cannot Get It Started

While driving home the other night at highway speed my truck lost power. I just filled the tank about 15 miles before then and everything was running fine. No lights came on the dash before the truck died and now can't get it started. Bad fuel? Clogged filter?

Ford 6.0L Power Stroke Diesel :: 2004 F250 Just Died All Of A Sudden - Intermittent Power Loss

Ok I have an early 2004 F250. Recently changed out the #8 injector and then had to replace the ICP Sensor. Was running great then while driving down the road just died all of a sudden. Would start right back up with no issues. Continue driving and I am getting intermittent power loss. Also noticed that when it would lose power suddenly the glow plug light would come on.

Codes are P0102, P0113, P0272, and P1000.

P0102 Mass or Volume flow circuit low input
P0113 Intake Temp circuit High input

These are just soft codes not setting a light off. MAF is plugged in and I will check wiring here later after work but could this be causing my intermittent issues?

Ford 6.7L Power Stroke Diesel :: Reduced Engine Power Message Came Up On Dash And Truck Died

2015 F350 6.7L, 43,000miles

My family and I were driving into West Virginia this morning when the reduced engine power message came up on the dash and the truck died. I coasted off to the side of the road as best I could and got out. Immediately I smell diesel fuel. I look under the truck and there is fuel all over the passengers side frame and when I keyed it back up fuel started spraying down by the right front wheel.

Pulled the fender liner back and saw a small rubber hose that looks like it came off of a tee fitting down by the egr components. I tried to get it back on but wasn't able to get it seated 100% and when I tried to restart it blew off again. Truck is completely stock and ran perfect right up until it died.

Ford 6.0L Power Stroke Diesel :: Overheated And Died - Now Won't Start?

Left the cap off my degas bottle after checking it this morning. Drove a couple hundred miles and it overheated and died. Cooled it off, filled it up with water out here, now it won't start.

When I first tried, before I got it full of water, it barely cranked. Now, it cranks fine, even sounds like it cranks too fast. But nothing. Did I really blow it this time? I don't have my ScanGuage.

Strangely, the oil pressure gauge registers normal as soon as I turn the key on, and stays there while cranking. I'm used to them starting at O, then registering after cranking a few seconds.

Ford 6.7L Power Stroke Diesel :: Batteries Died Again With 2500 Miles?

I didn't drive my truck for one day and the batteries are died. This is the second time this has happen. That is a pretty fast drain time. THe truck only has 2500 miles on it. And I;m talking the batteries a dead dead. I hate having to take the truck to the shop. Just a big inconvenience. And it only happens about three weeks apart. I bet that would be pretty had to find the problem.
