Love the turn signals of flashing 3 times if you just tap it. It will flash 5 times on the tap when you are pulling my rv. Is there a way to increase the number of flashes? Say 3 to 5 and 5 to 7. Couldn't find anything in the owners manual.

View 4 RepliesOk 2011 ford f350 6.7. Turn key on, no crank, no start. Trailer brake module failure flashes on the screen. If you leave the key on after 5 to 10 minutes the heater kicks on and you can start it. Runs down the road, hitting every pot hole for 1000 miles fine. Shut it off, try to immediately restart, same thing. If you hook up a booster box to it it starts. Replaced both batteries, cleaned cables. Scanned it, only codes are with the instrument panel : loss of communication with trailer brake module, with abs, with heat and air, and with parking aid modules. Tried to scan abs, parking aid, and brake, scanner would not communicate. When it is running communicates fine with them. Need a direction to go from here?

I've been towing this same package since 2008 all over the eastern half of the US and averaging right around 10MPG.... hand calculated from fill up to fill up. Sometime a bit more on a flat run to Daytona, or a bit less through the mountains... but very close to 10 MPG.
Well the factory trailer tires finally wore out and I replaced them with 8 ply Maxxis M8008 trailer tires...... highly recommended by the camper crowd.
Since then, I've been round trip Baltimore to Pittsburg, and Baltimore to Daytona (total of 2500 miles) and I've been averaging a bit over 12 MPG consistently..... again hand calculated. Same package, same highway speeds.... nothing has changed in my towing style.
Seems almost to good to be true. At this rate the tires will almost pay for themselves by the time they are worn out. Any trailer tires make such a difference ?
Looking to confirm the part number. My ICP is mounted on the RH valve cover and has a yellowish upper where the three pronged connector inserts.

I still have my 2011 6.7 f350 CC. I have a triple axle (single wheel) gooseneck tilt deck trailer that I pull my older dozer and backhoe on.
With the trailer brake gain set to 10 I don't have as much brake engagement as I would like. It actually wont lock them up at all when adjusting the gain. Loaded I don't feel any engagement when manually sliding the controller.
On my sons 99 f350, with after market controller he can adjust his output so that the brakes engaugelock at just about any adjustment (way over breaking) so I believe the trailer brakes work fine, I just don't get enough output from the factory controller.
Is there any additional adjustments the factory controller has or any suggestions to increase the output more so the brakes have a bit more engagement?
I found 2 Ford OEM part numbers for what seems to be the same identical metal CAC Tube for the drivers side.

With an AD2 and no HFCM, need to have a part number for just the top of engine filter? All I can find (Motorcraft, AMSOIL, Racor) are the dual filter kits.

What is the part number for the high pressure oil rail check valves for a 2003 6.0L? I'm referring to the ones that screw into the oil rail. I would like to avoid the local dealer if possible.
View 6 RepliesWonder what color wire provides power to turn selector switch on steering column. I checked under dash for fuse 23, and all maxi fuses under hood are good. Also swapped the turn signal relay under dash and no success. I have yet to clean the pins on the firewall harness connection.
View 1 RepliesI was turning left in my 01 Excursion and I think I hit the turn signal while doing so and tripped something. Now I have no turn signals and no brake lights. Headlights and tail lights work fine. I checked a couple of fuses under the hood that I believe are for turn signals, according to my manual they are fuses #20 and 22. They aren't getting any power, but the fuses themselves are fine. Is there another fuse somewhere to check? Or something else entirely?
