Ford 7.3L Power Stroke (1999-2003) :: High Beams Only And No Low Beams After Installing New Headlight Bulbs

I have checked fuse 46 and 47, and installed new headlight bulbs. I have high beams, but no low beams. I have searched this topic but no one has the same prob it seems. My headlight switch has broken. Could it be the headlight switch?

In my manual, it says the 2002 has a fuse panel behind the glove box. I took glove box out but it doesn't look like a fuse panel.

Ford 6.0L Power Stroke Diesel :: Interior And Exterior Light Wiring Diagram

Where I can find a wiring diagram of the inside and outside lights on the 6.0s? I'm trying to wire up my running boars lights to my dome lights and tail lights but don't know the colors or locations of the wires. The tail lights wouldn't be as hard to find as the dome lights, what is the location and color of both.

Ford 7.3L Power Stroke (1999-2003) :: 2000 - High Beams Won't Stay On

First time driving my 'new' 2000 7.3 Ex and the high beams won't stay on for more than a minute or two. Playing with the switch in the driveway, they came on after a minute of not being run, but after throwing the switch a few more times, they wouldn't come on again. The indicator light corresponds with the high beam function. I'm thinking a relay is going bad? The switch is brand new and the bulbs are definitely working. Also, I did not get an owners manual with the truck, and the fuse diagram I found online did not match the box at my left knee.

Ford F-150 (2009-2014) :: Interior Wiring - High Beams And Reverse Lights

For my 2013 with HID lights, I'm adding a light bar, and trying to find a good wire to tap into so I can wire in a relay to turn the light bar on with my high beams. As it's going to a relay, I originally thought to use a fuse tap, but the high beam fuse is always powered. Any other wire I can use in the cab?

I'm also looking for an in cab wire for the reverse lights I'm adding. I've been trying to make sense of the wiring diagrams online, but I am not having any success.

Ford 6.7L Power Stroke Diesel :: Keep Getting Flashed With Factory Low Beams On

2015 F350 King Ranch. I am constantly getting flashed when my low beams are on. They are pretty impressive for factory headlamps but the high beams leave much to be desired. They pretty much suck.

376 mile trip tonight, 200 miles of it in the dark. I was flashed six times. I drive this trip twice a week, every week, almost always in the dark (Alaska). I'm usually flashed by on coming traffic a similar number of times each trip. The trip is usually made late at night so there is little traffic... so getting flashed 5-7 times could often mean 50% of the traffic.

Happens whether the truck is empty or loaded. Only people who don't flash me are semi trucks but cars, trucks, etc do.

Lights appear to be aimed fine and I haven't touched them since I got the truck new back in June. I find myself running the high beams, which provide less visibility than the lows, so on coming traffic can actually see me switch the high beams off in an effort to avoid getting flashed. Nope... they still flash me.

Toyota - Electrical-wiring - Corolla :: Dies For Few Seconds When Turn On High-beams After Driving For A While

I have a 2003 Toyota Corolla CE manual transmission with 431,000 (not a typo) miles on it. About 7 weeks ago I noticed that when I turn on my high-beams after driving for awhile, the car dies for a few seconds. All lights go out, radio stops, engine stops and then it starts up again as if nothing happened. It will just do it once in about a half-hour time frame. I can switch the high-beams on and off repeatedly afterwards and it doesn't do it again. I have to drive for about a half-hour before it will do it again. I usually hear a slight pop sound when it does it.

A month later I noticed that if I parked it after driving for awhile, like at a gas pump, and get back in it, it acts as if the battery is dead for a few seconds. If I step on the clutch or open and close the driver door, the car comes back on. It appears that the battery was disconnected. The CD pops out of the player and all the radio station settings are gone. One morning last week I got in, and it had happened during the night. The CD was out, station settings gone, and the clock was 6.5 hours off.

I have had the car to a Toyota repair center 3 times. They have checked fuses, battery, battery cables, grounds, alternator, tensioner, looked for rodent nests, squirrels and I don't know what-all, etc. They can't find what is wrong. I am scared to drive it, but I depend on it. I commute 200 miles/day. I won't leave anything important in the car because I am afraid it will catch fire. I am scared I am going to have a wreck, too, with no lights and no power steering suddenly.

Ford 6.7L Power Stroke Diesel :: Wiring Fault On Trailer

Hooked up the toyhauler Friday and before we were off of our street I got the "Wiring Fault on Trailer", brakes on trailer worked, got out and verified the lights were working so we proceeded on.

When we got to the destination the manual says that if the fault stays on when disconnected it is an issue on the truck side, it is still on when the trailer is disconnected.

Ford 6.7L Power Stroke Diesel :: Trailer Wiring Not Working

My trailer wiring is not working, at least from what I can tell. Embarrassingly, I know this because the little brake light I have in my trailer hitch no longer lights up. I've tried different bulbs and a different unit, so it's definitely the wiring. I do not have access to a trailer right now, so unfortunately that's all I have to go on. It's plugged into the 4 pin jack. Is this something I should be going to the dealer for, or more like a blown/loose fuse or something?

Ford 6.7L Power Stroke Diesel :: Trailer Wiring Fault - Only When Backing Up

I only get the fault when backing up. Driving forward it's never a problem. The truck is a 2015 F250. We are pulling a 33' travel trailer. Both are new. I was not sure if the fault when backing was something that happens or if it might be indicative of a problem. The manual says it's not an indicator of a problem. Rather, there might be an issue. Again, it works fine when traveling in a forward motion.

Ford 6.7L Power Stroke Diesel :: Adding Supplemental Heater - Wiring Harness?

As it turns out my entire dash needs to come out to repair the HVAC so thinking while it's out I should add the diesel supplemental heater. What's involved with this? I need to replace the entire HVAC plenum so imagine the version with the supplemental heater can be bought instead. I know it's an 1800W electrical heater so my main question is the wiring harness on a regular truck setup for it or do I need to change the harness. And then I suspect the HVAC control module would need to be reprogrammed as well.

Ford 6.7L Power Stroke Diesel :: Wiring Up Few Sets Of LED Lights Under Side Rails In Bed?

I'm going to wire up a few sets of LED lights under the side rails in the bed of my F350 and connect them to the Aux 4. 2 Questions:

1. What's the best way to feed the wire from the upfitter switch out of the cab? Is there a way too feed it out the back, behind the rear seats? Or do you think it would be easier to route it under the cab, out through one of the sill plates?

2. Can I ground it to any clean piece of metal on the frame? Will this create possible issues with the stereo and feedback (ground loop).

The LEDs I'm using are a series of 24 LEDs that are bright white. I wired them into my duck boat under the gunnel rails and they're perfect and work great and their just super glued in place and have been through 3 duck seasons and work like new and are still attached like new.

Ford 6.7L Power Stroke Diesel :: Door Wiring Flex Harness Shredded

First I lost the power window functionality in the rear left door... didn't think too much of it, then I lost the power door lock functionality, which was bad because I was assuming my door was getting locked when it wasn't actually. Pulled open my door this evening and found this:

I think my truck overheard me when I was saying "I like a good electrical problem, those are my favorite." I'll solder it up to get it working tonight, and then I'll see what a new harness costs... although really they should have used ultra-fine-strand wire with silicone insulation for an application that sees lots of flexing.

My multimeter's test leads are such an example of wiring that is intended to see lots of flexing.

I drained my batteries enough that I needed a jump after the last time I was troubleshooting trailer wiring, since I keyed on a bunch of times. What fuse or relay do I need to pull out next time? I'm thinking of pulling fuse 302, HFCM relay (or fuse 7 in the disto box under hood) to disable the fuel pump, but what fuse or relay is for the glow plugs?
