Had a question about where the battery fuse is located and it's number. I just put a brand new alternator on.my truck. Turns out I might not have needed one, switched the battery with the new alternator on and the truck still went dead after it ran for about 10-12 seconds. So some told me it may be the battery fuse but I don't know which fuse it could be.

Mine decided to leak yesterday and so I looked up Ford for the part but there's two .. one is thick and one is not. I don't want to take the seal out first to look because I got no other vehicle to get it and putting it back in and out would be silly.

I've been troubleshooting an "SES - but no codes that would cause it" issue, and noticed tonight that clip is not there. Even a photo would work, as I assume I could make one if I had to. It's just a piece of copper, right?

View 3 RepliesF250 LD 99. Battery light flashing from time to time. When it happen voltage gauge in dash go up (but not in red zone so far). All other light are blinking too but not on and of like battery warning light then like stronger - weaker. So far at Internet is said should be ground. I saw one ground at firewall close to negative post of battery but where is other ground? Can it be voltage regulator (alternator)? Did clean battery posts, didn’t work. 4,6 engine. Voltage at battery posts with engine on is 14,7 - 15,1 V. With engine off 12,3 V.
Didn't managed to check voltage when is battery light flashing as it only happen when I drive not at idle.
Any resource that I can use to find the part number of the O2 sensor on my wife's 03 v6 Camry.
I have a check engine light, scanned by code scanner to reveal P2195. This OBD code is supposedly sensor 1, bank 1 "stuck lean" which is the upper O2 sensor on the left side of the engine (closest to radiator with transverse mounting).
So it should be easy to change if this is the issue but I'm having a hell of a time finding the right part number. Too many choices.
The 5amp fuse 15, (Stop lite switch, GEM, PCM, 4WABS, Brake shift Interlock, Cluster 7 PCM-Keep Alive memory), is drawing 2.7 amps with key off.
The battery has gone dead two times overnight. The truck will start and run. I don't know where to proceed from this point to isolate the problem.
Can't find a solid answer. But where to put your fuse box after relocating your battery? Don't wanna just have it chillen there when I move the battery.
View 9 Replies2003 Jetta TDI GLI , fuse number 32 (30 amp fuse) keeps blowing immediately after I replace it. I can't start my car because of it. I do have a shorting head light and the glow plug indicator flashes with the check engine light on. This doesn't happen all the time. When it does happen, sometimes the accelerator will not work and instead of idling at ~900 rpm it idles at ~1100 rpm. I usually just restart my car and then it works again. Not sure how these issues are related but I can't start my car because of this blowing fuse.

I have ordered the Ambient Temp Sensor and that will just plug into the harness that is on my vehicle with a factory cap in place at the moment. However when I tried to order the message center, the dealer said it would be best to get the part number off one that is currently in a vehicle.
View 13 RepliesWhile fixing some trans leaks on my 6.8. I was tightening a clamp on the center cooler and the lines must have rotted. It snapped off. I was having problems with both attachment points. So guess it's just time. Problem is I cant find a good part number to order one. I can't find it on Rock auto. Here is a picture if it. It's between the front and main radiator.
View 10 RepliesI was having intermittent fuel pressure problems. I replaced fuel pump and relay and was still having the problem. A figured out that wiggling the 20 amp fuse would cause the intermittent. Looking at the connections for the fuse, I can see one side was damaged. I figured I could pull the connector out from the back and fix the connector, but when I took the back off (see picture) I have a purple wire (labeled 1) going to one side of the fuse and a multi-connector (labeled 2) from one wire going to the other side. My luck, it's the multi-connector side that is damaged.
It Looks like the multi-connector goes to the Black and yellow wire. Instead of replacing the box, I figured I could just create an inline fuse for the fuel pump with the purple wire and splice it into the Black/yellow wire.
I can't see any problem with this, just looking for a second opinion. And I'm not sure how it would effect the relay. I can't find a fuse panel wiring diagram anywhere.
Looking to confirm the part number. My ICP is mounted on the RH valve cover and has a yellowish upper where the three pronged connector inserts.

It looks like the purpose is to keep mud and road gunk from shooting up into the rear area. Where I can order replacements and what they are called? What are the part numbers for the REAR Sway Bar Bushing Clamp to fit a 2004 F350 Dually w/ the dana 80 axle? This is the part that surrounds holds the bushing that encompasses the sway bar holding it to the axle itself.
Found out couple weeks ago that the front and rear bushings were different heights. Meaning the ones for the front sway bar bushings were taller and the ones in the back were shorter. I can find the part numbers for the front ones pretty easily but the rear ones is like searching for the holy grail. And yes I need the shorter rear ones.
I have a 03 for excursion and I am pretty sure i blew the relay for the fog lights today but looked in the glove box and everywhere for the owners manual and cannot find it anywhere in site... Looking for a diagram or can take a picture of where the fog light relay is and post it on here and which fuse or relay it is ?
