On my 2013 Platinum the passenger's seat seems weak on the cooling versus the drivers. It still works on the passenger's side just not very cool. Is the AC cooling just a fan pushing air through the small holes in the leather seats?

The seat heater module on drivers side went out and the back slider window leaks water bad when we take it through the car wash. Is this possible? We were told nothing of this when we purchased it from this same Ford dealer.

View 2 Replies2011 F150 Screw FX4 drivers seat squeaks. Its in the bottom. It happens when you go over bumps. It doesn't do it all the time, but you can sometimes make it stop by moving the seat forward or back.
View 3 RepliesThe drivers seat heat on my 2010 F-150 stopped working. The passengers side works fine. When I press the button on the dash, it lights for 2-3 seconds, then goes out. I have been looking around all weekend for a fix. I found many posts, but they are older and the equipment I'm seeing on my 2010 F-150 looks different. I found the wires coming from the heating pad. I was going to try and test for continuity but the wires have a plastic fitting and I can't get contact to the wires. I found a diagram on Foreparts.com showing that the heated seat control module is part # 14C724. I was able to locate on the passengers side, but not on the drivers side so I wasn't able to swap and see if that was the problem.

Recently the drivers seat would only recline/move front to back tilt on the outer left most side. The seat back appeared to be frozen on the inner/right hand hinge by the center console. It just twists the seat back if I try to recline or move it at all
Is this a warranty thing or is there something simple like a fuse or plug the at could be the culprit?
2006 GX470. I have an A/C issue where sometimes the driver's side is not cool at all but the passenger side is very cold. Both sides are set to the coldest setting.
The weird part is, I can usually get it to fix itself by reaching back to cycle the rear A/C on and off.
I did a search on here and found one similar thread, however it seemed his fix was replacing the expansion valve; but wouldn't a bad expansion valve cause an issue to both driver's and passenger side?
I just bought a 2006 Lexus GS300 AWD. Bought it with 99k from a older gentleman who seemed like he took really care of the car. Gave me all type of Lexus dealership service receipts. I recently noticed that the driver side seat heating and cooling doesn't work right, passenger seat works fine. I haven't checked the fuses yet just wanted to get some opinions before getting into it.

View 4 RepliesSince most of us on this forum drive pick-up trucks, we're all accustomed to them riding, well, like a truck. We fully expect them to bounce around a little bit, right? However, one should not expect to be annoyed by noises inside the cab. For instance, my passenger seat bounces around like a baby's bouncy chair, even when the road is smooth. Surely, I'm not the only one noticing this! How do I shut-up my passenger seat???
2010 Platinum 4X4 SCREW
I continue to get that message whenever about anything is on the passenger seat. Today there was only a wrapper and an empty cardboard box from an oil filter. Together I doubt they weighed more than a few ounces. I normally just clear the message a few times to get it to go away...but today it triggered a seat belt alarm. Is there a way to change the amount of weight that it takes to trigger this message...or is it due to something else?

I was hoping to remove the front-passenger and front-centre seat to make room for a probe that will go through the floor into the soil. As I was looking through articles to see if this was possible I read that some newer models dont make this easy, as there are air bag sensors and seat belt sensors that screw up the process. Before going out to look at the truck and make an offer, I was wondering - if there are any tips for removing these seats.

View 10 RepliesHopped into my truck last night after unlocking with the key fob, the easy exit is turned off, and the drivers seat was rolled all the way back and lowered. Mirror might have been off its mark too. Seat back was fine, not reclined. The seat change position like this? Never happened before or after, software? Bumped stuck adjustment switch, other???? Doubt having key on the same frequency and did it for fun as my laptop was in plain view and not stolen...

View 6 RepliesRecently I posted a question asking which was the best bedliner to go with for my 2011 F-150. But now I've also started considering a bed rug. I won't to often haul things with this truck...And even when I do it'll most likely just be something like furnature, Nothing dirty, grimey or messey.
But what do ya'll think would be the better way to go? The LineX Xtra looks promising. But I think it might be overkill for my application.
Also when applying a bedliner what all is involved in the process? Do they scrape all the paint from you're bed and then spray it down? Or do they just spray over the paint?
My research showed some of this happening on some of the older Lexus but couldn't find any on the IS that are this new.
I plan on taking it in and hoping to have them replace under warranty. Just seems kind of odd with only 20K miles. I have never used anything other than water and a micro to clean the seats.

I've noticed a noise in my '09 when I first start driving it after being parked at night. I believe it started about a week or two ago. After getting about 50 feet away from the drive way I hear a metallic ping from the passenger side, I'm guessing front. Then nothing else until later in the day when I leave for work. I travel about the same distance from the parking spot and I hear the same noise. Doesn't happen again until the next day. What it could be or how to test to determine the source? I usually engage the emergency brake when I park the truck. I'm going to hold off on doing that for a few days to see if it makes a difference.

The other day my father and I were driving around town in my pickup, he kept looking in the side view mirror and finally he told me he thought that my bed was not exactly in-line with my cab. When we got to our destination we both got out and looked, and sure enough the bedside protrudes maybe 1/2 a centimeter out on the passenger side where the bed meets with the cab.
This isn't really a great big deal, I mean I've owned this truck for just a hair over two years now and I never noticed, That's how unnoticeable it really is. And do you think this is worth taking it to the dealer for?
I mean, I feel like I'm being a stickler here...It's not noticeable unless you are really looking hard for it as in staring directly down the length or the pickup, and even then the bed looks lined up except for the slight protrusion on the passenger side.
