Windshield wipers not quiet? This morning mine sounded like they were hitting the rubber windshield gasket above the windshield at the end of their sweep. I wanted to stop and get out and watch then it quit raining. I looked at the windshield gasket just now in good daylight and I don't see any scratches or hickeys anywhere....
View 2 RepliesI have no windshield wipers. Since i bought the truck ive fixed other issues but cannot figure out the issue with the wipers. Tested for power not sure if it's accurate but seems like there is power to the harness to the motor but not 100% positive.... Can it be the switch? Blinkers and rest on same switch still work but no ww. I also dont hear clicking from a solenoid like ive read on some research.. Fuses are all good pulled everyone out since they arent labeled with numbers next to them...im at such a stand still and cant drive the truck was screwed the other day when we got sun showers for nor reason and i was on a major highway.

View 3 Replies2015 F250 and I'd like to have the wipers stop a little higher on the windshield causing the ice build up. Previous trucks I could pop the wipers off and rotate them and put back on. These are keyed so I can't. Any trick?
View 5 RepliesWindshield wipers, and washer were suddenly not working the other day, so I discovered a blown fuse. Put a new one in, and it immediately blew again. So there is definitely something grounding out, and I am suspecting the wiper motor itself because so far I have not been able to find any wires shorting out, but before I go to the trouble of pulling the motor out and testing it, or replacing it.
Truck is a 2002 F350CC 7.3 TD. Wipers were working fine the other day before I pressure washed it, which is why I really suspect the wiper motor itself.
I have a 2012 F250 XLT crew cab, longbed truck. My problem is wind noise, it seems to come from the windshield directly in front of the driver side. I plan to use some blue tape to cover the area to see if I can find the problem.

Upon bringing her home, I noticed that there is a buzzing noise coming from the engine compartment after I shut down the motor which lasts approximately one minute (give or take). Since the truck is still under factory warranty, I figure I'll take it to the local dealership, but I'm wondering with the 6.2 has had the same issue and what the issue could possibly be.
View 6 RepliesI have a 2015 ford f250 xlt crew cab, 6.2, fx4 with about 1200 miles on it. My questions are, I have noticed a hissing or whistling noise while accelerating. I took to dealer and was told it was the throttle plates not closing all the way.I was told they all do this. Normal? Very annoying noise with windows down. Another noise I have been having is the brake pedal makes a popping noise while applying pressure to brakes. Dealer said brake pedal assembly was out of alignment. They said was out of alignment 1/8". After adjustment within a few days popping started again.
View 6 RepliesJust bought my first Ford. Its a 2015 F250 Platinum. Im at 1400 miles and Im becoming concerned because when I start the truck for the first time in the day, no matter how long I let it sit and warm up I am noticing that on the first couple of miles of driving I hear a high revving sound as I accelerate and it seems to quick shift during those first few miles.
As I continue to drive the high rev sound just fades away and all engine sounds and shifting are as normal as can be and will remain that way until the truck has been sitting for an extended period of time and is cold. I thought it had something to do with tranny temp but this morning I let the tranny warm up to about 115 deg in neutral before taking off but still had the high rev for the first few miles. I have never owned a ford nor have I ever owned a heavy duty truck, hoping this is normal.
Still using the ones that came on my truck new in April 2014. We've had some miserable mix of weather lately. Snow/sleet/rain/freezing rain. The blades are definitely on the way out. What are the best year round wiper blades for northern climate?

What this sound is? Been to the dealer 3x already and they are throwing parts at it and each time telling me its fixed.
I didn't get the windshield replaced rusted the whole way across the top of the window. Now to fix it right need a new roof panel. This truck barely see snow if it does it gets washed underneath. gets waxed 5 times a year washed every 2 weeks if not sooner now a spot of rust anywhere else on the body. well the bottom of the tail gate but that was covered by a bedrug. But the windshield has me upset to say the least. Really would like to know if there is a problem there like ford not prepping the metal right since it was a new body style for that year.

View 3 RepliesIve got a 99 F250 (5.4 if that matters), after a good long rain like the one we had this weekend, when I drive the truck I get water splashed on the passenger floorboard. It hold enough water that if I rock the truck side to side I can hear it sloshing. I am wondering if there is a common drain for these things that gets clogged. When my a/c runs I get a nice puddle under the truck so it looks like that is not clogged up, and I didn't know if they were the same drain or not.
