Are there any settings within the Vag-com to automatically unlock the doors when you shut the car off? They automatically lock, so surely you can make them unlock?
View 3 RepliesEver since I've owned this truck I notice that when I shut the truck off only my rear doors do not auto unlock. Is this normal? It's embarrassing when I have passengers and they need me to hit the unlock switch from my door to get out.

View 2 RepliesJust bought a 2013 ES300H. My question is there a setting that will keep the trunk unlocked when the car doors are unlocked when I do not have my key fob. I am all the time in the garage and will try to open the trunk and it is locked. My previous car an Acura RL was set liked this.
View 6 RepliesSoooo the other day i killed my battery, went to get a jump- and after I was running again, i went to unlock my doors and only my driver side door would unlock via my key fob.
Now, the lock function will lock every door, using my key (in the door) will unlock every door. Hitting the unlock button in my car will unlock every door..... just not from my key fob.
If I have the switch set for the lights to turn on when I open the doors, they don't turn off when the doors are shut they just stay on all of the time. Also, sometimes they don't work at all and sometimes they do. My 12v outlet doesn't work either but I am guessing it's the fuse..
View 2 RepliesEvery once in awhile when I'm on the freeway, the hazard lights will flash and the doors will lock and unlock for about 3 seconds then stop.
The car is running normally other than this, except that the doors have stopped locking with the fob or the key itself. It is a 2001 2.0L L4 SOHC 8V.
I have a 2000 GTI VR6, and the Rear-view mirror is half dimmed and half regular. Obviously it must be a failure. Is there any recalls or any way to get hold of a new one?

View 2 RepliesSo I replaced my big fan today. Everyone knows that the factory fans are notorious for going out. After replacing the fan, I turn the car on and noticed that both fans were on... and never turned off. So I turned the car off, and turned the car over again. and they still were constantly running. I messed with the climatronic controls and when I have the settings on auto the fans are constantly running, when I have it on econ, they don't run. And when its on neither, the fans are constantly on unless I turn it off. Before replacing the fan, I replaced both the FCM, CTS, and the fan switch. Its becoming pretty frustrating. I supposed it could act as my own switch for the fans, hahaha. I've searched and havent found anything like this. Hopefully its something small
View 2 RepliesThe rear doors on our '07 V10 no longer unlock when the handle is grasped. They also refuse to respond to the unlock button on the key fob. They will unlock in response to the button on the inside of the driver's door.
View 1 RepliesOne of the rear doors on my 86 wagon won't unlock. The lock button goes up and down, both manually and automatically, but the door won't open and it feels as though it is still locked. I'd rather not cut a hole in the door panel! Perhaps I should have a locksmith get the door open and then I should remove the door panel to lube the locking mechanism? Is there any way to lube things without removing the door panel or consulting a locksmith? I can roll the window up and down.
View 2 RepliesWhen I open the doors on my touareg, the rear hatch does not unlock. When I try to program it as an option to open the rear hatch when I unlock the doors, it works for awhile. But, it always goes back to not opening. I recall a few months ago a similar question or post about a solution, like reprogramming something else first or at the same time.
View 23 RepliesI have a 2007 Santa Fe and recently both rear doors don't respond to the car remote and even to the driver-side control panel on the door. The only way now to lock and unlock the rear doors is to manually do it from the inside. Both front doors are fine. What could be the problem with the rear doors? Is it just a fuse? Or do I need to open the door panel and have a look inside? If I do need to open the door panel, looking for instructions on how to open it.

View 3 RepliesMy MK4 golf has the rear passenger door shut, cannot be opened from inside or out. The outside handle has no tension, just floppy.
I managed to take the card off, even though I cannot open the door.
So my issue is if I keep dismantling til I get to the door lock, is there any simple way to open the door ? I've seen lots where people can change the lock if the door opens but can it be opened if the door is closed or do I somehow have to smash the lock ?
I have a 2011 Azera. The rear doors don't automatically unlock when shifting into park. They function properly otherwise. The child door locks are set in the open position.

View 1 RepliesI just finished installing sound deadners and vibration control in my rear doors and when I finished the doors would not unlock...at all. Manually nor automatically. I'm sure the linkage cable was green on top, grey on the bottom. The real problem here is that I can't even get the doors open to look for a fix. This may be a dealer appointment. On the bright side, with just the rear doors complete the sound is already vastly improved over stock.
View 3 RepliesI have a 2010 Prius V-ATP with remote keyless entry. When I open the driver door the rear doors do not unlock. When I open the front passenger door, the rear doors do unlock. I would like the driver door to open all 4 doors too. Is this normal operation?. Is there something I can do to fix it or do I have to take it to the dealer?
