How difficult is it to change the plugs in a ES 350? And can you change the back ones with out removing anything? And what number spark plugs are in the back (1,3,5 or 2,4,6)?

Where the power steering reservoir is located on an ES 350 (2013)? I am looking to change the fluid out since my steering wheel is making some noise at full lock. I have been looking under the hood for 2 days now and cannot seem to locate it. I have located the brake fluid reservoir which was flushed out today...night and day difference in braking btw. Now this power steering is bugging me but i cant locate the reservoir.
View 8 RepliesI have tested 07 UL package a while ago, really liked the car, how it drives, really quiet, very smooth, good acceleration, very comfy etc. the only concern for me is it spacious enough ? I'm driving around 90% in town, how is it on a long trips with 2 - 4 people.... ?
Immediately after I parked ES 350, I have tried LS460 07 AWD, somehow it felt under power for me, maybe cuz it's a awd.. ES was faster in my opinion. It had it 100k miles on it, the car felt really solid like a rock, safer, but slower. Maybe a RWD would feel differently.
My plan is keep the car for 5 years or so, I'm also concern about maintenance costs too. As today I'm pretty much can get a LS 460 07 or ES 350 UL 10-12' for the same price.
In the 2008 ES350 owner manual, there is a picture of an AFS OFF switch (to turn off the Adaptive Front Lighting system) which is located at the knee dash area above your right knee (on the right side of the steering column). However, the switch is not there when I look for it in my car which has the AFS w/ HID lamp option.

For the past couple of months since having my air filter changed at Jiffy Lube the air conditioner won't come on and there's a message on the screen that says to check the air conditioner connection. I took it to Lexus to check and they only gave me an estimate of charges for $384, but no explanation of the problem. What might be wrong and the cost to repair?
View 2 RepliesMy wife's 2007 wasn't cooling very well. I put a gauge on it and it was slightly low so I added a can of R134. Cooled better for a (very) short time. Now it doesn't cool at all.

View 4 RepliesYesterday my 2008 ES350 would not start. Called AAA out. I believe they tested the starter and the alternator and found both good and suggested charging the battery. We assumed we left some device on and that ran the battery down although we could not think of what it was.
So I charged the battery on maintenance free setting long enough that the needle quit moving towards zero and just quivered (about 4 hours). Removed charger and started engine with no problem. Took it to neighborhood parts store and had battery tested. Tested good.
Wife ran her errands in it, came home, garaged and figured she must have left some electric device on the previous night. This morning engine would not crank, same as before.
On my 2007 ES 350, the car shakes when it's up to 70mph. Why?
View 14 RepliesOn my 2007 Lexus ES350, the front passenger window does not stay up.
Using either the driver's switch or the passenger door switch, the window rolls up to the top, then comes back down (the other three windows work fine).
With deft manipulation of the switch, I can get it almost closed.
The only recent 'event' on the car is that I changed the eight year-old OEM battery two weeks ago; the window began acting up two days ago.
Is this programming that was lost when the battery was removed, or am I looking a regulator/pinch motor issue?
Lexus 2012 ES 350 Dents near moonroof. The dealer says it cause by the flex of the car when you hit a pothole.
View 5 RepliesMy friend has 2008 ES350. His car has problem in Air Conditioning System. Only sometimes not always it pushes normal air, not cooled enough as it should be. He took it to an AC service shop they checked the AC gas it is normal no leaking. They told him there is a faulty sensor connected to the compressor.

View 5 RepliesI purchased a 2011 ES350 today with 38k miles. I didn't notice it at the time of purchase, but the moment I put it into drive with my foot on the brake (idling), the passenger seat does a little dance. It's not terrible, and doesn't shake much while driving, but I would much rather it not be there because it's taking away from the experience of driving this beautiful luxury car.
On a different note, I had a 1999 ES300 that I recently gave to my 85yr old grandpa. The car now has 115k miles on it...it does not shake, and it drives like a dream.
So I have a 2008 ES 350 with 53,000 miles on it. In December of 2015, It was starting fine, then it sat for about two weeks without me driving it. When I went to start it, it had to be jumped. It took longer and longer to start (more cranks) until I took it in. Also there was a delay between hitting the lock button on the handle and the car actually locking. The battery was still the original one, and the dealer tested it and it was in fact in need of replacement.
Now here's where things get weird: I replaced the battery with a brand new Interstate 24f 700 CCA battery from Costco. The car starts now, but it is kind of slow (about 4-5 cranks) to start. Also, the car starts faster (two or one crank(s)) if I first put it into accessory mode then start it.
My wife has a 2012 ES-350 with the Parking Assist feature but NO NAVIGATION. You have to get within about 2-3 feet of an object before the warning (visual and audible) detects an object in front or the year of the car. Can the "Sensitivity" be adjusted up so it will recognize a danger long before 2-3 feet ? My LS-460 has a Sensitivity Setting in The GPS settings but since her car does not have GPS, I don't know how to adjust the sensitivity to give her more warning of getting too close to another car or object. How to do this ?
View 11 RepliesI need to replace the original driver side HID bulb on my '07 ES350. I intend on doing this myself. I found the thread that listed detailed steps which I'm sure will be very useful.
Any tips as far as getting to the actual bulb? It looks pretty cramped in that area.
I have the adaptive headlights that turn with the steering wheel. Any special steps needed for this headlight?
I have a small oil leak on the car. I took it today to Lexus to get them do a quick check and it's coming from the back of the engine near the top on the right side. What gaskets are in that area?
The car has already had the crank seal and timing cover gaskets replaced at 31,000km.
The car has 60,000km on it now. Also, any common problems with the ES350 to do with oil leaks?
