I'm considering having both my front and rear bumper and possibly my hood to get repainted by a bodyshop in the spring just due to stone chips, and a couple small scuffs. The car still looks great but since I'm planning on keeping my 460 a while I want it to look perfect, my car is black, but I'd rather leave it as is than have a body panel that's a different shade.
View 12 RepliesThe front of the rear bumper on the driver's side is loose from the main body. The clip on the bumper is ripped from where it tore. I've gone ahead and bought the clips and everything from Lexus near me, but need to know the best epoxy or glue to reconnect the clip area on the bumper so I can apply the clips.
Is the bumper on that spot (the back side of it, not the painted exterior, if that makes sense) fiberglass.
Taking off? Possibly for a diffuser install or any other reason. The reason I ask is because (now that I am not upgrading to an RCF) we are going to attempt an LFA style exhaust on my current RC F-Sport. We will be starting off using an RCF rear bumper due to there being more room in the area where the stock diffuser usually is.

There's also a strange, small, somewhat circular thing in the upper right corner of the screen. With my Matador Red exterior, I'm sure I would have noticed it before today on the backup camera.
View 8 RepliesI bought the car from dealer, there are now FOUR! holes on the front bumper. I don't understand why they couldn't just use the existing holes to put the license plate holder. Now I'm stuck with these holes and I'm looking for a cheap alternative to fill them. I like the clean look of the front end without the plates and don't want to spend a fortune at a body shop, but I also don't want 4 dots either. What I can do/use?
View 3 RepliesI have a 2013 Lexus ES350 and the left edge of the rear bumper keep pops open during the hot summer days. The first time I saw this gap between my bumper and the frame I thought someone has hit my car's bumper. After close inspection, the bumper is smooth as butter just like the first day I brought the car home. I took the car last Saturday to a Lexus dealer for an inspection. The service guy told me there is nothing he can do and maybe bring the car back on a weekday so their diagnostic guy can take a look.
View 6 RepliesI have a 07 gs350. My car wouldn't start this morning let alone turn on. I heard this constant beeping noise coming from the hood and it was the battery. I unplugged the battery and the noise stopped. But once I plugged it back in the noise came back. I was in a rush to get to work this morning so I just unplugged it and let it sit for a few minutes before plugging it back in to see if it work.. it did not. This battery is only about 1 year old too.

View 2 RepliesI've had my 2010 Gen III for about five months. I play in a folk band and we do a lot of gigs in DC and Northern Virginia. We have to haul a lot of stuff, and my Prius holds it all.
But in just a few months my rear bumper has gotten all scratched up moving stuff in and out of the car. I looked around for something I could cover it with to protect it from scratches. The dealership said they could put a non-skid decal on the flat part, but I wanted something that covered a little more.

View 22 RepliesMy daughters 95 Volvo 850 had a sagging rear bumper. I prchased new mounting brackets and removed the bumper. It turned out the brackets were for a 5 door, and her car is a 4 door. I returned to the dealership and was told that they can only get the left side bracket and that the right side bracket is no longer available. The brackets look nearly the same except the mounting holes are opposite. I went ahead and ordered two left side brackets. I am hoping to be able to drill holes in one of them to fit it on. The bumper is now off the car and the old brackets are rusted to nothing.
