Headlights are factory adjusted too low? Maybe it's just me, but I don't believe the headlights are factory adjusted high enough because the headlight coverage distance is not as good as I'm used to seeing. I believe I will adjust my headlights for a slightly higher (upward) aim to see if it improves the distance the headlights cover.
View 14 RepliesMy 2013 is always off by a few degrees (too warm) on the outside temperature display. This is not the sun or other outside influence. I wouldn't mind if it was just a couple degrees but it is always 5-10 degrees off. Can this be adjusted?

After my ~ 15 minute drive home i checked it again, and it was about 1/3 up between min and max...... Are they typically at "max" from the factory, or just varying in between? A couple times now the factory alarm will start going off by for no reason. This was confirmed by my neighbor, who was sitting outside when it started going off the last time with nobody around it. Also, when this happens, the alarm button the on key fob will not stop the alarm, only unlocking the car will stop it.
Also, after this happens, I can no longer set the alarm (pressing the lock button twice and hearing the car honk once) for usually at least a few hours if not a day. what happens is that i press the lock button and you hear the doors lock but if you keep hitting the lock button, the doors just keep locking, the car never honks.
I have searched high and low, and I cannot find how to replace the factory low beam projector style headlight bulb on my wife's 2013 Tiguan SEL. It came with the factory LED style HID lights. There were a ton of videos and how to's for the regular Tiguan headlight replacement, and for aftermarket Ebay LED ones, but I can find anything about how to replace the factory low beam projector bulb, other than "take it to a dealer". My thinking is 'if the dealer can do it, so can I'! There has got to be a way. I can't get the wire bulb retainer loose, or get the bulb out of the headlight housing.
View 2 RepliesAfter about one year on driving (about 25000 km) my factory blades began painting rainbows on the windshield. These original Denso-made wipers were really good, survived almost two full winter seasons. I replaced them with the highly regarded PIAA silicone blades - the Aero Vogue hybrid ones. Will see how long they will last.
The upper blade is PIAA, the lower is factory installed Denso one.
Got an 06 with factory air shocks. All of the air shocks need to be replace. Possible to just put in factory shocks or struts?

I was told there is nothing that can be done to adjust camber for tire wear on the cars with stock air. However, I have seen online that it can be adjusted with a smaller drop on the air.
