Lexus GX 2010+ :: 2013 - No Ringing Sound From Car Speakers Intermittently?

2013 GX paired with iPhone 5s via bluetooth. This has worked flawlessly for a long time but now it is acting up. When I make a call from the car with speed dials, call history or contacts, I do not hear the "ringing sound" from the car speakers. I just see "calling" and then "talking" when it is answered. I checked volume on both phone and touch screen, made sure my phone was not on mute, disconnected and paired my phone again, all to no avail. The crazy thing is sometimes it works normally, and sometimes just silence.
Once the phone call is answered I can talk normally, etc. just no ringing. Yesterday, I used the redial to call "Time" about 7-8 times and it worked correctly 3 times and the others it did not. The thing Is, this necessitates looking down at the touch screen while driving to see whether it is dialing and when the call is being answered. When someone calls me it rings normally. I am under warranty but my dealer is quite a drive away and since it does this intermittently I am sure when I took it in it would be in a "normal" phase.

My mother owns 2011 Rx350. She bought it used few month ago. Car's great for what it is and makes me feel relieved to think my mother's driving a car that is quite safe and reliable.
That being said, the car's audio have created some problem recently. How it happened other than my mother's assumption that her water spill at the trunk may have caused the problem. She don't know how much water was spilled and not even sure if that is exact reason. (It's about that time frame that audio started having problem, hence the assumption)
So, the problem is that the sound only comes out from the front speakers. I am not sure how many speaker there are at the front, but it is as if fader is set to front all the way. If I move the fader to rear, it kills the sound from the front and since there is no sound at the rear, it just dies out as soon as fader moves all the way to the rear. So with the fader and balance at the center, sound is only at the front and plus there is no bass sound also, assuming subwoofer (if any) is at the back and not working also.
My mother claims that it comes back to normal sometimes but I am not sure how often that is since I do not drive that car too often and I just found out the problem today.

Just resantly start to get a problem on my 2014 RX350 hands free bluetooth phone. While i'm on the phone and receiving second call (call waiting) sound from car speakers disappeared and goes to my handset. Checked with HTC technical support and Lexus tech. could not solve this problem. Also while you guys on the phone and not moving, on navigation screen what do you see "handset" or "hands free" button? Because I have "handset" and I think it is suppose to be "hands free".

My iPhone 4s shifts from car (Lexus 350RX 2012) speaker to phone speaker and back constantly when I'm on a call. I have erased the pairing between the phone and the car and repaired it, I have also reset the phone to no avail. Lexus says my car firmware is up to date. It has to do with Bluetooth AVRCP 1.4 compatibility.

I her a ringing noise inside my GX. It happens right after the car wash and I cannot figure out what is causing it. It seems loudest in the back.

I just got my ultra white/Black GS FSport Monday and noticed right away that the phone audio is complete garbage. When I make a call it sounds like my speakers are blown. Really bad crackly and cutting out of the audio, as if my phone was just outside of the BT signal range, when in fact it's in my pocket. Tech guy at Lexus said to disconnect and remove device from both the phone and the car and pair the phone again...but same problems.

I own a 2010 prius, have enjoyed the car. However, set out on a 6 hour trip this morning only to find I have no sound emanating from the speakers. FM, AM, CD or satellite all show on the screen that I am listening to something. But, the volume knob doesn't turn the sound up. Neither will the steering wheel buttons. The display used to show a numerical value for the volume. But nothing.

My 2013 GX makes this noise when I step on the gas padel when the speed is 70 mph or higher. It is not very loud but noticeable, even with the radio on. I noticed this these past two days on highway. There is no such sound during local drive or speed below 70. It sounds like it came from the engine compartment, but I am not 100% sure. Is this normal? Could it be from the wheels or chassis? My truck only got 1800 miles after 2 months driving.

My 2013 RX350 (all-wheel) has a super annoying droning sound when pressing gas pedal - it is not the smooth-humming but a kind of low cat-purring sound that is more pronounced when in low RPMs. The dealership can't tell the problem, Lexus Field Specialist acknowledged the sound and said I am not the first one to complain about it, but he doesn't think anything wrong with it. According to him, this is not the sound of the engine, but the exhaustion system. My overall experience with RX350 is not as good as I had expected: it is nosier than my previous highlander, it is also nosier than my wife's Odyssey.

So I was driving as usual and out of nowhere my front speakers stopped working. Everything started playing out of the rear speakers and my fade was still centered. I tried the hard reset with the pin and all, shuts the touchscreen and radio off, hit the power button, and nothing changed. Well, my setting were all changed but nothing changed with the front speakers. If I push the fade all the way up to the front, the radio is just silent. Can't figure out what I should do since it seems like a thousand people had this problem and it was fixed by resetting.

I have 109,000 miles on my 2007 es350, bought in May 2006.
This weekend, I drove 2 hours, stopped for a few minutes, then when I started the car there was no sound from speakers. Just 2 tapping noises from right rear speaker. Turning the radio off, then on I only heard the 2 pop sounds.
I left the radio on even though no sound. Monday night, starting the car for the 3rd time that day, the speakers worked. The next morning the speakers did not work. Now I just hear the 2 tapping noises, when the car is started or radio turned off/on, then nothing.
This happened twice before, once last year and once 4 weeks ago. Both times, the speakers started working the next day.

My navigation door will not open, and when I turn the radio on, it looks like it is playing - but no sound comes from speakers.
From digging around here, it looks like this could be a fuse problem - but both of these at the same time? Are they the same fuse? Are the fuses I would need to replace in the passenger side or under the hood?
BTW... it was pretty comical getting to the fuse thing in the passenger foot well - I am just over 5 feet tall, so it was easier to do it head down, feet near the headrest of the seat!

I have an 06 GS300. 73k on it. I finally took it in to the dealership for the fuel pipe recall and I told them that the check engine light and traction light and the exclamation point all came on the day before and that it ran rough for a few seconds then the lights went away and it ran fine. The codes were stored in the computer and they said "they needed to re-ring the pistons".
They are doing this at no charge!! They have had it for 20 days as of today. They said it was a huge job and they are doing it at no charge even though my power train warranty is up because starting Jan 2012 this is a "bulletin item" that they have begun to fix.
Here is my question- Since this is such a huge job and it sounds as though they have taken my entire engine apart, what should I expect when I get it back?? I am afraid that by taking it apart, I will have more problems than when I took it there.

With only 4000 miles, the dash lights on our ES350 will go out and stay out until you restart the car. This problem is intermittent which makes it super hard to pin point.

I have a 2013 ES350 with 8K miles. Since car has been new, experienced intermittent surging and uneven driving at speeds between 25-40mph. At times the RPM gauge will spike and other times RPM stays stable. It seems like it is searching for the right gear and very noticeable when it does this. I have tried different grades of gas, different driving modes. Nothing works. Problem is inconsistent but persistent.
Also, experiencing cruise control issues going up and down hills where vehicle feels like it trying slow itself down and then shifting hard to maintain speed.

I bought my ES in January of this year, and almost from the get go I've had an intermittent problem with a squeak in the dash... I really think this is a cool weather issue because last weekend it was in the mid 70;s here and not a single noise... this morning temps dropped into the upper 40's and there was that damn squeak again...
It's located right over the speedometer about 2 to 3 inches in from the edge ( just beyond my grandson's right hand in the pic below... Took it to the dealer a week or two back but because it wasn't making any noise, they told me there was no point in leaving it... but this morning they said bring it buy and we'll put you in a loaner....
I've heard of this being an issue on some IS models but not on any ES models... anyway according to what I've read the fix was to remove the screws on the bottom side of the dash 'hump" and then insert some felt in there... hope this works, because even though it's just a squeak and nothing mechanical.

I have purchased a second hand Lexus GS350 F 2015 with only 12,000 miles on it. I do have an issue with the parking brake. It works fine sometimes, and sometimes it blacks out and I keep getting the (!) sign and message saying (Check Parking Brake System, Parking Brake Inoperable) with blinking red Parking sign. It simply releases the brake and it doesn't function at all. It goes sometimes by itself and comes back. This issue usually happens after driving the car mileage not immediately when starting up the car. How to handle this problem and which part is malfunctioning.

I've only had my RX330 for a week. Dealer set up our phone to work in the navigation screen. Everything worked fine until tonight. When we get an incoming call it no longer 'rings' through the car's audio system. How do I get the 'ring' back? The screen indicates an incoming call, but the ring has stopped.

I've relocated back to Texas, and I've noticed since the roads here are much older than the streets in Vegas, if I'm braking while going over a bump in the road my brakes seem to slip and re-grip while coming to a stop. It doesn't happen every day but it happens enough to make my heart skip a beat and think I'm about to die

I just changed my alternator because it was making a whining sound off/on, then just went completely dead. I got it back from the shop and that certainly fixed the problem. However, I now notice a very faint high pitch ringing from idle to 2.5k rpms or so, I hear it more so in the cabin. Also, if I hold at 1,500 rpms now the engine vibrates and stumbles right at that holding point, it didn't do that before. Is there a chance that this remanufactured alternator could be the problem?
