My 2015 is 350 F sport is due for its 5000 mile maintenance. My appointment isn't for a few days however. The "maintenance required" light now stays on, so I was wondering if its safe to continue driving the car? MIleage is at 5125.

View 5 RepliesSet up the free oil change for next week (10,600 on the odometer) and was wondering if this is an automatic light just based on mileage. Prior owner got a free 5,000 mile oil change and selling dealer changed the oil at 5,800 when we bought it.
But I guess if there's a reset somewhere that neither prior dealer took the time to do the car thinks it's time for it's first change. This is a 2014.5 SE Sport put in service July of 2014.
The light came on at 5,000 miles. It's not for an oil change, it's for a tire rotation. Looking for step-by-step instructions on how to turn off/remove that light? 2013 ES350

I started it up to pull out of the garage and noticed the maint Req'd light blinking, it blinked about five times and turned off. Does it mean anything? if so, what? Just rolled over 100K. View 2 RepliesI am just out of the dealer service period (2 years, 25000m). I took my Prius -v (3) 2012 to my mechanic. He did the oil and filter change, but could not reset the Maint Reqd light. It seems it is different from the regular Prius. I looked on the forum, and tried the suggestions, but none worked. It was supposed to be (with odometer showing).
Turn the “POWER” switch to ON mode. The multi-information displays initial screen will be displayed for a few seconds. While the initial screen is being displayed, press the “TRIP” steering switch (→P. 186) 3 times, pressing and holding the switch on the third time. I tried doing this both with my foot on the break and off, but all I got was a reset trip.
