So when I was washing my car for the first time I noticed that the bumper was damaged. It can be fixed or does the bumper need to be replaced?

So I have a 2009 metallic Prius and I just recently got into an accident. I ran over a fire hydrant. My front bumper went through a front collision. The left part of my front bumper is pretty much destroyed.

Today while driving a paving stone fell off the landscaping truck in front of me and (luckily) only came in contact with the black plastic air dam under the painted front bumper. So a line of panic stops on the highway last night and I lost - stopping an 8000lb rig compared to hondas, nissans, etc. Anyway I just kissed the corner of a nissan xterra and dented the steel part of my front bumper below the driver headlight. Nothing else. It is a 2002 all black limited.
I am wondering about fixing vs. buying a new bumper. A new one from the dealer is 436 and then needs to be painted.

What sensors are in the front bumper? I slid out on black ice into a snow bank and it crushed in the bottom grille and as I'm clearing out the snow I noticed a sensor dangling with a broken harness that I was wondering what it was for. I have a nonFsport bumper with LED fog lights and both fog lights are operational.

I'm having the bumper cover replaced on my 350 (stupid mistake on a number of fronts it's starting to look like...) and the indy shop that I chose in my town to do the job (Lexus dealer is 100 miles away and this shop was recommended by the guys that take care of all the Lambos/Ferraris/Porsches etc) told me that they had to drill the holes in the bumper cover to retro fit the sensors. Is this correct?

I have a 24v Vr6, a couple days ago i spotted some water on my garage floor. I looked in the engine bay and I saw some coolant on this metal can looking piece, it's on the passenger side of the car to the left of the headlight door and a couple inches down. I also looked all the way at the bottom of the engine bay on on the plastic shield there is quite a bit of coolant that has leaked onto there.

I bought a 2011 F-150 a year ago. Today was I driving my truck like usual and for some odd reason, it revved up to 3500 and then my truck shooked like I hit a big pump. I'm debating whether I have a faulty transmission or something. I barely touched the foot pedal. I wasn't evening barely putting any pressure on the accelerator and for some odd reason, it revved up that high and something shook my truck. Finally got the Aeroworks CF splitters and spent some time to install it. Took me about 3 hours but I also took the time to put on some adhesive velcro for protection. And re-sealed one of my headlights

Then the rest is easy. Make sure to clamp or put a bucket under the washer fluid hose if you have the headlight cleaner option. Fitment of these splitters are almost 100%. right side was perfect, left side has a slight gap but its like 1mm ... very small.
Just line it up, and drill 3 holes on the bottom and 1 on the side. The splitters came with screws and some fasteners. Easy to install. I put some 3M adhesive tape as well just in case . I stuck some Heavy Duty industrial velcro strips on the underside in case i rub.

Having problems with the paint chipping on the rear bumper? Dealer said on the phone paint is only covered if it rusts. Will bring it in tomorrow for them to check, but I'm not getting a good feeling that they will cover it. Car has only 3500 miles on it! Bumper shouldn't be chipping like this.

My wife backed the truck into a pole and bent the driver's side bumper and one of the ears on the trailer hitch (the part that bolts to the frame). I bought all the parts that need to be replaced (the left bumper end, the hitch itself, and the plastic bumper cover), gut am hesitant to try to change it all myself. How hard is it to change out all these parts? Is there a write-up any where out there for this?

I recently purchased a Rear Bumper Protector for 2010-2014 Toyota Prius for my 2014 PIP. I thought I had it in the correct position when I removed the adhesive strips to install it but realized the next day that the curvature is not lined up properly causing a gap in between the bumper and the protector.
