I'm starting to notice some squeaking sounds while changing the airflow for the AC. Pretty much all of the options will make a sound, but especially changing from Head+feet to head only, and vice versa.
View 3 RepliesI am feeling disappointed just came out of a lemon law suit with a kia optima I bought two years ago. I figured we'll I should buy a better brand this time which my brother recommended cause I was going to buy another Infiniti I always had good things with those cars. But the last 2 nights I have been hearing a squeaking noise in my rear end of my brand new IS 350 F Sport. Only in sport plus mode. I was driving home from work at 2 am and driving through a canyon road cause I want to see how this car does as soon as the road got a little bumpy I was hearing a squeaking noise come out of the rear of the car. Then I get home and I hear it going over my speed bumps in my complex of my condos. So I think we'll that's odd. I take it out of sport plus mode and back to eco and drive around the complex again and it goes away. Remind you I have 484 miles on the car.
View 3 RepliesFor the last couple of years, I've noticed the air flow changes from the floor to the defroster under hard acceleration. Not a big deal. This morning (7 degrees) the airflow was changing under light to moderate acceleration. It's a vacuum problem, but is there anything in particular I should be looking at? The car is running fine, no issues with stalling or hesitation.

View 14 RepliesSo my brakes have been squeaking for the past week. Brought it in to the dealership. They said i need new front brake pads. I only have 22k miles on my 3is and that seems like a really look mileage for the breaks to be worn off. I dont track ny car and i pretty much drive slow. How long are your brake pads lasting? Is this normal for the 3is pads to wear off this fast?
View 14 RepliesIS350 fsport. I have had the car for two weeks already and these sounds are driving me crazy. Its definitely coming from the center console area, I can even move it a bit and its makes the squeak sound. On bumps something like a little plastic pebble feels like it rattles. I went to lexus and they couldn't really do anything about it. They said its normal when two plastics come together to squeak.
View 14 RepliesJust picked up my 2015 IS 350 F Sport two days ago. Really got to take it out for the first extended drive today. The drivers side temperature controls seem to be increasing and decreasing on their own.
View 8 RepliesWhere this sound is coming from? I notice it more when the engine hasn't been turned on in a few hours or so. It only happens at certain engine rpms, usually a bit higher than idle. It's a bit squeaky, per se, may need to turn up audio on the video below to hear it. May need to bring her in (just did a 30k service too..)
Possibly a belt of some sort? My AC is on at startup.
While driving around with the 8 speed is350, It seems like the transmission is slipping when changing from 3-4-5 under light throttle. The revs shoot up and then it finds the next gear kind of like someone riding the clutch in a manual car.
This used to happen a little during the winter on cold start but its happening more often even in warm weather. Maybe I'm just crazy but I'm sure its not supposed to be acting this way.
What is the proper procedure in changing the brake pads without unbolting the caliper?

View 8 RepliesI have a 09 ISF and at times it seems like there is a squeaking noise coming from the cluster. Is this common and whats the fix. I know there was a TSB with the 350s about the felt on the clips from the dash but I haven't seen anything with the ISF.

View 14 RepliesI've got an '12 F-150 with 7k mi. on it. It developed a squeak/creak noise about 1k. mi. ago. It comes from the r. front suspension area and I noticed it one morning leaving from work. It occurs under suspension loading/unloading and it only happens during cold and dry conditions. It won't make the noise when it's wet or damp outside. I've had it at the local dealer 2 times now and they can't seem to locate it. It sounds like rubber on metal or when the 97 & 98's had the dry tie rod ends or ball joints problem. They are reluctant to throw parts at it to try and eliminate it and I agree with them. What were the findings?
View 5 RepliesI was driving home today and randomly thought to open the vents in the b pillars and noticed that neither rear vents were flowing any air. I opened and close them and I tried every mode on the AC, and even tried turning the rear vents from the arm rest to the back seat off. Any clue as to what the deal is?? I just cant imagine what the issue is. I have never used the vents in three years of ownership but would like to think that I have the option.

Yesterday I noticed a chirping noise when I had my window down. I could not hear it when it was up. It sounds a bit like the squeal of brake pads, but it's continuous even when not braking (it does change tone with speed, direction and braking). to compound things at times I don't hear it at all.
Could this be brake pads? My front ones are coming due. I thought they only made noise when braking.
Ok this just started and it has to do with brakes in a way----the Noise is the sound of when you are deflating a balloon (the squeaking sound). Its under the dash area and I can make it do it if I press on the brake pedal and let off it will make the squealing sound. Some times it will do it on its own just driving along without even hitting the breaks, but when it DOES start doing it I can make it do the noise constantly pushing the brake pedal down and then letting off!!!
View 10 RepliesBought my 2013 GX460 in Dec, 2012...approaching 3000 miles now. Everything is great, however, I have been hearing braking squeaking noise consistently under these conditions:
1) Low speed braking, such as approaching traffic light.
2) Low speed braking in cold morning (40 degree).
3) Low rolling speed, driving in parking garage
No noise under high speed braking.
Is this normal? I googled a little, saying that such noise is the result of high performance brake they put on the GX460.
