I am not getting any audio out of the right channel when I am playing a CD. Tape, Radio, AM/FM, all speakers are working. Tried multiple CDs, I know it's not the track.

Recently I have been getting an intermittent problem with my audio system where all radio channels are getting interference, then after a short, random amount of time, the audio system switches itself off and ejects one of the 6 CDs. If I turn it on again, it turns off (again after a random amount of time) and ejects another of the remaining CDs.
This problem is not constant, and happens maybe once or twice a week and does not stop until the car has been at rest for a little while.
I just got my first Lexus (2013 GS350) ... I noticed an issue with connecting iPhone for bluetooth audio streaming / if there are any fixes for this. I have an iPhone 5 with iOS 8.3 that connects when the car turns on. However, sometimes when I switch modes to BT audio from say, FM radio, it'll say "Portable audio player connected" and my phone lock screen as well as the navi screen will show that the music is playing, but no audio is coming out of the car speakers. If I turn off the audio system and turn it back on, the music will play. I can also pause the audio on the navi screen then hit play and it will play. Pause then play on the phone does nothing.

I just got a new phone, this time an android note 4, I noticed when i plug in my phone to the usb port, it won't play music, it just says error. It does however charge the phone. Is there any way around this? I know I can use bluetooth, but I've always preferred the usb port.
View 3 RepliesA few quick questions regarding using a USB stick on a Prius C. As my latest iPod has died, I decided to focus on using a USB stick.
a) Why do some album covers show up and some don't. I play the MP3 on my iTunes, Windows Media Player or VLC Player and I see the album cover, but some won't show on the stock radio (2015 Prius C).
b) What audio file formats have you been able to play via USB?
c) Any ways to have non-English text display for playback? I listen to a lot of Japanese, Korean and Chinese pop music, so it kind of sucks of having to rename nearly every artist/band name, track title and album title as it becomes quite tedious for each track.
D) Currently, I am using a 4GB stick and it takes a little while each time the playlist has to refresh, each time I start my car. But I would like to move up to a 32GB or 64GB USB stick. But I was wondering how long the wait time is for the playlist refresh? If it's too much, then I'll probably use a 8GB or 16GB. And any speed differences on a Prius USB if it was USB 2.0 or 3.0?
I have an Android phone paired to the bluetooth and I love being able to listen to audio apps on the car stereo. However, it has a most annoying habit. The most common app I listen to through BT is Audible recorded books. I also have Pandora and the stock music player on my phone. Generally, before I shut down, I press the pause button on the audio screen and turn off the audio power switch. When I restart the car and the BT audio, while it will usually start with the app I was last listening to (i.e., Audible), it very often decides it is going to play something from the music player. I don't understand why it makes this decision because it isn't because I have been listening to the music player since turning off the car!
View 4 RepliesI just traded my 2014 Toyota Tacoma for a 2016 Camry XSE and have been hearing some weird audio stuttering when playing audio through bluetooth. My 2014 truck streamed perfectly and now I get a half second stutter intermittently.
Currently on a Verizon note 4 with latest updates. My entune System info is below:

I have a 2014 Prius Three with basic stereo (non-JBL). I'm trying to use a 64GB USB thumbdrive with about 5,000 mp3's grouped into different folders. Each folder has about 200 songs. Any song I play, doesn't matter which one, the headunit just stops playing on the middle of each song. What can I do to resolve this?
View 5 RepliesI just bought a 2011 prius four with solar and navigation. Used the navigation yesterday, but my music wouldn't play while it was navigating. Is there any way to change the settings so that the music keeps playing and the navigation interrupts when it needs to give directions?
View 5 RepliesI have a 06 JDM prius with hard drive-based audio and navigation system. Today the car was parked in a ready mode with the stereo playing and the audio cut off abruptly. I investigated and found that all of the audio and navigation controls on both the steering wheel and center console were unresponsive. It is impossible to switch between modes I.e. CD, HDD,radio and the CD drive no longer rejects. Bluetooth pairing works but no sound coming from the driver side speaker when in a phone call. When the car is started the MFD shows that it's playing audio from the hard drive as shown below but there's no sound and its impossible to change tracks.

When using voice commands for playing a song on the USB drive it will list that as song 1/1 which is what it should do, If I choose a artist and album it will list all songs from that album. but how do I return to the playing the USB drive to play all songs from all artists?

I have really driven my Corolla until the stereo system stopped working a month old. The audio just stopped during one rainy day when I was playing a CD.
The stereo unit appears still functioning and I was able to take the stereo out and un-plug/re-plug in the 4 wires connectors in the back. A couple of times, by doing this, the audio came back for 10~15 minutes and then went silent after that.
So, what could be the cause of the issues? Could it be there some short in the wiring? How would trouble shoot this issue further?
If I have my phone (iphone 5) paired up through bluetooth in my prius c and I am NOT playing any sort of music. Then I get or send out a call to someone, as soon as I hang up the bluetooth will start playing music through my phone. I looks like it is just opening my iphone's "music" app and playing the first song I have in there alphabetically. I looked around for any place to adjust settings but I can't seem to turn this auto play off.

Yesterday, I accidentally hit the Voice Command button. It went to the screen and I got out of it. However then I couldn't hear any sound. The radio was clearly playing but no sound. When I pressed source it just showed a symbol in top right corner. I guess I should have thought to just turn the car off and restart because when I got home and did that, it worked fine.
My main question is about about the iphone 5, bluetooth, and Voice Controls.
I have bluetooth and Personal Hotspot enabled (so I do not have it plugged in to usb outlet) on my iphone enabled but it appears that I cant say "Play (Artist)" and have it play that from my iphone. It says something about an unsupported media device.
When I push the button on my Iphone and tell it to play a song, it does play a song but not the song I requested. It also shows on the car display that it is calling myself.
Voice commands for calling seem to work but I can't figure out if it is not possible to play songs using voice commands with an iphone or what the issue is.
Any way to increase the max volume on a 2009? My main issue is with the AUX in channel, it doesn't have the same power that the radio and CD player have.
View 2 RepliesI have an iPhone 5S and whenever I plug it in to my car it automatically switches to the iPod input and starts playing tracks in alphabetical order, though sometimes it remembers to continue playing whatever I had playing on my phone before. This is rather annoying because I'd rather the car stay in whatever input mode I had it, and if I do switch to iPod or Bluetooth, I want it to *always* remember to play what I was playing before, even if it's Pandora and not "iPod" music. Is there a way to configure the JBL system to do this? Or at the very least stay in its current input mode until I manually switch it?
View 3 RepliesI have a 2012 Prius Two, a monitor with Bluetooth capabilities. I use the Samsung Galaxy Note II with Sprint on Jellybean Android.
I have tried numerous music players on Android and here's what happens:
Music plays fine. Bluetooth paired perfectly. Randomly the entire head unit will reboot. There is no pattern. It happens after about a minute and a half. It shuts off and comes back on.
I do not have an AUX in unfortunately. When I tried my wife's HTC EVO 4G on Android It worked perfectly. Only Bluetooth.
I tried to install entune. No dice. it says that ny VIN is invalid.
I have a '10 with NAV. iphone 5S. Bluetooth enabled on phone and syncs to car. Phone calls work great.
On the Radio function, there is a BT (among others) tab, however mine is greyed out. AUX tab lights up with the cable plugged into the port in the black hole and my phones headphone port. Whether this cable is plugged in or not, the BT tab is never accessible. My wife has a '13 Venza with NAV same iPhone and she can play music through her phone wireless, selecting the BT tab.
I have a 2010 Premium with rear DVD (Lexus) installed. Almost all DVDs stop playing...just with normal DVD wear and tear no major scratches or gouges or dirt. They play in all my other non-vehicle machines with no problems. They have already replaced the first player and the second is actually worse. Also, it will non play and DVDs that I have burned without stopping after about 2 minutes into the movie...again...they play on all my other machines.
View 4 RepliesI just bought a 2010 LX and tonight I discovered that I may be able to play a digit copy DVD. So, the kids jumped in the car and inserted one of their movies(not Blu Ray) and we can only hear it. All we see in the video box is a blue screen.
