What is the part number for the drivers side aluminum tranny bracket(automatic)? Or a how to to remove it, cuz mine is fractured badly and needs replaced.

View 3 RepliesProud second owner of a nice passat wagon auto with 94k miles.. Slightly worsened the last 10k miles is an occasional clunk from up front, driver side..
What seems to happen is say slowing down to a red lite, when it suddenly turns green so the throttle input either causes an engine mount or something to do with second gear makes a clunk.. if I'm real smooth with the gas pedal I can avoid this noise.. and if I run the engine all out thru the gears I don't notice it.. The car is stock..

As the title implies I need the part # for the OEM VW Stretch bolt that holds the Torque Arm insert in place. I've had the mount on my car for a few months now and I've grown tired of it.
I re-used the OEM bolt the first time and I think I'm better off replacing it as it may not be wise to unbolt it and re-torque it for a third time. Looking for the part # for the stretch bolt? I believe it's 21mm.
2001 12v vr6 here, found my leak, now I need to know what the heck this is! Is this even removable?! It's basically a plastic elbow that connects to the radiator on the driver side, I have a photo. I tried fixing this crack with some glue and tape (It was late and couldn't get any temperature friendly glue), as you can see in the picture, it's covered in electric tape, and the hot coolant burned right through it all.
Another problem I had is my fuse box, burning through my fan fuse, looks something like this, the fuse was burned, but after placing a new fuse (just for contact), the fan worked, so I'm guessing a new fuse box is where to start ?
I'm looking for a part number for the rubber stop that mounts behind the clutch pedal on the firewall for a 2001 Ford Ranger 4cyl 2.3L 5spd Manual. Can't seem to find it on the web. It looks like it snaps/presses into a mounting hole behind the pedal. The original one decided to disintegrate and now I get a nice knocking noise when ever the pedal is depressed.

View 1 RepliesI'm slowly going through my (new to me) GX470 that I bought about a month ago. I live in the big mountains and many people would say that the road I live on is a 4x4 trail, although I'm often on real 4x4 trails. On an outing today I noticed that with the air bags raised there is a loud banging sound when I go over any significant bumps. I would tick the switch to lower the air bags while going over bumps and the sound would instantly stop.
Based on that info, I presumed that I had a problem with the height sensors, causing them to max out the suspension travel. So I looked underneath and sure enough I have a cracked bracket on the driver's side sensor. So basically the cracked bracket bends as the suspension is going up until the suspension travel is maxed out.
I need a new upper driver side door seal and the plastic driver side fog light bracket but can find part numbers for my 2005 Ex.

Today I noticed a wet carpet in my wagon(floor behind driver seat) and I know that my bro washed it for me last week, so how it got wet. He takes really good care of our cars and he's confused also. I just got back from a long trip. BTW it is water, and not coolant.
View 10 RepliesMy driver's seat is broken. Specifically the part in the middle that lets one adjust the front to back position and it's connection to the front bottom of the seat. I'm hoping this isn't all one unit as I'd rather not buy a new seat.
