All of all sudden, my car is complaining a airbag fault, VCDS scan fault code as below, Does it mean all 10 airbags in my Phaeton is no longer working ?!

A few days ago I got an Airbag Fault Warning while driving, since then the orange airbag light has remained on and at start up it gives me a "Airbag Fault" warning. Any remedies? The manual states to just take it in to the dealer.
View 7 RepliesGot a new 2008 F150 King Ranch. Great running truck with a lot of "stuff". But now the bad. Got about 5 blocks from the dealer and the tire comes on the dash. Sure enough the rear drivers side tire is getting low. 1st thought I'd load it with some Slime but decided to take it to a tire store as we found a screw stuck in the tread. Turns out the screw was too far out on the tread to be patched.
I bought a new tire instead of going after a plug kit and driving a few more miles before replacing all tires. Drove home. Went for a short drive today and now the TPMS fault is showing on the dash. Little yellow tire blinking. Finally got home and checked all the tires. The lowest was the front drivers side at about 38 PSI. So did the tire store mess up my TPMS system or is something else going on?
Truck was in shop 10K service on Thursday (4/7) and as soon as I started the truck on Friday I have the Air Bag/Seat Belt Pretension light on showing up in dash. The light is one but no MFI fault reported.
Why indicator light coming on just after service? I did not pick the truck up at the shop on Thursday so I cannot say if it was on immediately after 10K service. Shop asked me to drop the truck off Sunday night. Site Search came up with several items that could cause this malfunction.
My 2003 Camry has po301 fault code also have same code showing as pending. Can't find nothing on google regarding duplicate codes . The car starts fine, runs fine, idles fine. Excellent at high speeds I don't think the car is misfiring . Could it be a bad sensor giving me a false reading .

View 1 RepliesSo a friends 09 Accent suddenly shut off while on the highway, she started it back up and drove about 1 more minute and it died again, and has not fired up since.
The only code was a P0342P (pending), cam sensor fault, went to the dealer and the master tech said it will run with a bad cam sensor and that it is likely the crankshaft position sensor. So we bought that ($116 with my military discount), no dice.
It cranks over smoothly (however I did not think to look at the cam through the cam sensor hole until after I had left)
I pulled a cop and checked for spark, it lit the fuel/air out of the tube, so yes on spark and fuel.
All relays were swapped, fuses are good.
I suspect the timing belt let go, as these are interference motors it is likely the motor is toast. Or any chance it is not?
She bought this car brand new, just put front tires on a few days ago and an oil change, 98xxx miles, white 2 door, 5 speed, looks good otherwise, and has been taken good care of!!
I turned on the car today and about a couple minutes into my drive I noticed the airbag light was on. I pulled over, turned off the car, then turned it back on. The light came on with the rest of the warning lights, turned off when they all turned off, and then came back on a couple seconds later and stayed on. The car has just been sitting in my driveway. Only thing worth noting was that last night, while walking past the car, I noticed I had left one of the windows open. Also noticed my glovebox was open since I had gotten something out of it earlier in the day but forgot to close it. I turned the ignition half way to just use the battery to close the window (without turning the car on) and went to bed.
View 29 RepliesI have a 2008 F450. What may be going on with my truck. In the past the truck would blow the fuse for the door locks. Currently the display is showing wiring fault with no trailer attached, the horn is not working and the cruise control has stopped working. I've covered the basics and checked all relays and fuses and haven't found a faulty one yet. I'm thinking bad ground or possibly bad GEM module???? I've read and read topics and am more confused as to what it could be now than when I started.
View 3 RepliesRecently "acquired" AB Fault that would not go away. Upon routine 10k service, here is what was found out. If you move the passenger front seat within the first few seconds, the self-tests (including determination of seat empty to automatically turn off passenger airbag) get confused and a fault code is thrown. Fault will not go away until reset by VW service (or presumably VAG-COM can do this).
The recommended "fix", at this point, is to not mess with the seat adjustment for 10sec after ON. There is no written information on Touaregs, apparently, but same problem is documented in a Technical Bulletin for New Beetle. A relevant quote from that document is: "Volkswagen Technical Service is investigating the following condition. After switching ignition ON, the Airbag Monitoring indicator light stays illuminated and DTC 02511 014 - Seat Occupied Recognition Control Module Fault - is stored in DTC memory.
Well like I said, I have an airbag fault light. I recently installed a sound system and ever since I unplugged the "Passenger air bag light" indicator module from the dash trim piece the air bag light has been on. When a passenger is in my car the air bag does indeed activate and deactive when they get out.
My question, why is my air bag light on? Did unplugging the module from the dash trim peice really cause that? I don't really want to take it to my local dealership and get charged diag time.

the piece where the passenger side seat belt clicks into has a chunk broken off of it, now im assuming that this is causing most (maybe all?) of the problem here?

View 2 RepliesI have a 2010 F350 that has been throwing the "tire pressure monitor fault” on the dashes info center. Here is where it started. I purchased new wheels, tires and sensors a few weeks ago. I put them on and they were fine on the way home because I assume that the stock ones where still being read (they were in the bed of the truck). Put the old ones in the garage and then while driving to work the next morning I got the message. I tried to reset or “learn” the new sensors that night with no luck. There are two ways to get my truck into learn mode. One uses the hazard flashers then releasing some of the tire pressure until the truck horn beeps. The other method is a series of break pumps and turning the ignition from on to off then using the TPMS tool that apparently comes with the truck.
The truck went into learn mode every time with either method but it would never recognize the new sensors. After attempting everything on the sensors I checked to see if for some reason the trucks actual monitor was in a “fault” mode. Last night I tried relearning the old stock sensors with great luck. They all were recognized… for about 10 minutes. After getting them to work I left the shop I work at and on the way home the "tire pressure monitor fault” came back again. So just in case something had been in sleep mode when I did it I pulled over and reset them once more. Again with great luck… until this morning on the way to work again it went back to fault mode even with the stock wheels still in the bed.
So the light came on the other day, took the car to the stealers for the 60,000km service and just figured they would just clear the fault code. Turns out i needed a new airbag harness in and under the drivers seat.
View 3 RepliesI have a couple of fun curves I hit daily and most days I push the car pretty hard. So, I hit one the other day on the way home from work and the freaking airbag light came on with a fault message. I immediately suspected that when my seat belt tightened that the sensor in the seat belt connector freaked out. I later scanned with VAGCOM and confirmed that I have the famous high resistance message for the driver side seat belt connector. I remember that some people had luck by cleaning the connections to the bottom of the seat and the switch. Maybe that is all I have to do. Got to love the .:R. I break stuff as fast as I fix stuff.
View 13 Repliesso today i removed the radio bezel from my 06 and i left the key on like an idiot and now my airbag fault light is on I reconnected the bezel i make sure that the plug was on and still airbag fault light is on.
