Acquired my Phaeton about three weeks ago and could not be happier. Need to understand one of the front display screen options? I'm a little confused as to why "0" is displayed as "speed" when the car was actually going about 50 mph when the photo was snapped.
View 6 RepliesRNS810 ... My display went blank even though all the touch screen features are available (but hidden from view). Phoned VW who say there is a software update to address the blank screen issue - will try and get it done tomorrow.

View 6 RepliesRecently, i just bought an multi-information display panel (with touch screen support) to integrate into my RX330 which is a non touch screen NAV display panel.
The 2nd hand multi-information display panel is from a 2004 RX330 and what are the socket behind the display panel meant for.
what is the 4 socket connectors as indicated in the red circle in the image should be connected to?
Had to get a replacement battery for my 04 GX470. The garage replaced mine with the same model. Turns out the model changed, poles were reversed and I hooked it up backwards. Realized I did something stupid so I took it back and got another replacement. It cranks over now but I have no display screen, radio, climate control, power windows, power seats, and I'm guessing more. I am guessing a few in my engine compartment as well as the drivers side kick. Thing is, not sure how to tell if the engine compartment fuses are blown or not.
View 7 RepliesMy prick of a husband punched the lcd screen in our 08 prius and the display cracked. We can't install it ourselves, so buying the parts secondhand and installing them ourselves is not an option.
View 7 RepliesI am due to make a 400 mile round trip business trip today. Go out and start the car, and the screen display is black. The MFD. None of the buttons on it work, either - I have the beep ON, no beep. I turned it off, waited about 1 minute and tried again, still nothing. Went for a short drive (took the dogs to the park where they can run), it was off for about 35 minutes. Still nothing for the short drive back home. I mean short, this is less than 2 miles one way.
I can still access the a/c and the radio from the steering wheel. I can see my speed, fuel etc, that is fine. It is just the display monitor. This came out of the blue, I have not noticed any issues at all.
I just bought a 2006 passat manual version and have had it for 4 months or so. Im curious as to how to get the speed display in the middle MFD screen. Everything else (consumption, speed warning, range, route, travel time etc) works, however it when i switch to the speed option, it never shows me my current speed.
it only shows a random number (ex: 26km/h and that just gradually increases as a drive regardless if i slow down or speed up.) Ive tried holding the select button, however it just gets rid of that number and turns into dashes then goes back to doing the same thing 30 seconds after driving. How to get this to work?
I thought I saw, somewhere, the ability for the navigation screen to display the angle of tilt (both horizontal & vertical) of the car in real-time. I'm only able to get the display of altitude and front wheel angle.
View 3 RepliesWent to a meeting one evening last week with my 2010 Prius, everything working well. After the meeting we drove away and noticed that most of the dash display was "dark". Driving home and feeling a little gloom as I wondered what it might cost to fix the display problem.
I noticed the poster announcing the meeting we attended was laying on the dash and was pushed up to the display screen. I pulled the poster back an inch and the display came back on !! Pushed it forward and when it got within 1/2 inch of the display, it would blank out ??
It appears the dash display is some sort of bottom projection system to the display screen. Pushing anything up to the display screen blocks that bottom projection and blanks the screen.
I was in my friends' new Corolla and Tacoma (both with the Entune Plus) and noticed right away that their backup camera image was much clearer than my 2014.5 SE with the base Entune Audio.
So I went to the Toyota Camry site and look at the current specs,
LE,SE standard
(6.1-in. touch-screen display)
XSE,XLE standard
(7-in. high resolution touch-screen display)
So I am wondering, has the XLE always had the high resolution display since 2012?
I am guessing the only cheap upgrade option is buying used display units to swap out. Does the rear camera need upgrading also?
Any way to see my iPhone 5 screen on the display of the car? I love the big screen mote than the tiny iPhone 5 screen.

View 14 RepliesI got an 07 LS460 without navi but it still comes with a screen. Last week, the display started to work only intermittently and got pretty pissed. Last night was driving without the screen, but when a passenger stepped in, the jolt kinda made it work all over again. However, this morning it didn't work again.
I brought it to the stealership today and they claimed that the fuses are all working and its the screen that is spoiled and has offered to replace it for about 12kUSD. What do you recommend me doing. But first I am gonna try to remove the battery for 20mins tonight to see if it gets better.
I got in my 2010 Highlander and started it and the small display screen that shows gas milage, air temps, time, temperature. etc. just went white. It appears to have light behind it but will not display anything.

View 3 RepliesI went to turn my 2005 on today the normal startup screen came on then it went dark for about 5 secs then came on with the normal consumption display but with no readings. Also there is no radio memory and I can't see volume control or radio tuning. Any way to reset the system? Here is what I mean by no readings...

I've owned Acura's for 15 years total and now own my first Lexus. Loving it so far. Just bought a used 2013 GS350 luxury package with only 12,000 miles believe it or not. Spectacular condition. Loving it so far after 4 days!
Quick condition, is there a way to permanently display the digital clock somewhere on the nav screen or is the analog clock the only option? Not a big deal, but prefer digital clocks.
The Navigation touch screen does not work. I can still us controls on the steering wheel, bu the touch screen is dead. I am assuming that I just buy and install a new screen? Or could there be something else to trouble shoot?
View 6 RepliesI got my car today and am a little annoyed. When the car is started the navigation turns on and displays my Dealerships Name and Picture. Is there any way to get this removed and do I have to go back to have them take this off?
