I just picked up my new Toureg today and on the way home from the dealership, the CD player prompted an "error" message, stopped working, and will nor eject. I go the upgraded sound system and I am very disappointed, to say the least.
View 1 RepliesI have a 2005 Volvo V50.The radio and CD changer will not come on when you push on. There is no display for the radio & CD player. There is dispaly for the heating & cooling systems. The speaker settings have dispaly. It is not a fuse. I had them checked. I just got up one morning and it would not work.

View 14 RepliesLast week my keyless entry stopped working. The key-fob buttons still work but not the push buttons or open signal on any of the doors. Took car in for tire change yesterday and to check this problem. Dealer has checked all the modules, including power and found no problems. They are now working with VW tech support to see what to check next.

View 5 RepliesI put in keyless start about a year ago (best mod ever) and about three weeks my keyless access stopped working. Keyless start works fine. Supposedly I need something called a Kessey module. Is there any chance the two are related? Is the Kessey module the thing you put the extra wires into for the keyless start or is it an entirely separate module?
View 16 RepliesI have an 2007 v8 in campy white..barely 10k miles on it only one issue my wipers stopped working twice..both times a loose nut fixed by the dealer..while washing the other day i noticed minor scratches behind the door handle on the outside.
View 3 RepliesAsides from the myriad of other gremlins associated with our Tregs, my wife's has developed a problem in which the passenger side Xenon Head lamp stops working. When this occurs there is a corresponding warning on the MFI (which is stuck on warning because of the tire pressure module issue). If you turn the vehicle off, sometimes it resets and comes back on - other times it does not.

Our rain sensing wiper has been working flawlessly since new. However, it decided to stop working two days ago. It just goes constant speed now.
View 17 RepliesI have then 04 Touareg V8 and my keyless door entry has stopped working. The dealer wants me to just leave it and they will work on it. The remote button still works it's just as you walk up to the Toruareg that the doors do not unlock.

View 2 RepliesI have 2006 Touareg with original keyless ignition . But unfortunately it stoped working . It writes in the dashboard screen that the key not found . I replaced the key battery but it is still the same . The car doesn't open automatically as well .
What could be the problem ?
Well its raining and my wipers made a chattering noise and just stopped checked the fuse its ok.

View 3 RepliesI can find some references to unsatisfactory sound and whining noises in the speakers, but not dead ones. The wife called me the other day, annoyed, and said that the speakers stopped working in the Treg. It appears that it is the left side, both front and back. They came back on for a little while, but now have been "dead" for a couple days. There is an occasional "pop" from the left side, but that is all.

I don't know if I have the window lock on or off, or something..
The clock/CD player in my Prius 2001 stopped working after I accidentally touched a red wire to ground/car body. The 7.5A fuse next to it is fine, so are the visible fuses. The radio is OK too, with the previous setting.
A Toyota mechanic told me that the clock/CD player needed to be replaced since one of the 4 wires to the clock has power.
But the clock can start to run after ACC is on and can be barely visible when headlights are on. It seems that there are 2 sets of power to the clock, one for display and the other is always-on for clock running, and the always-on power is down.
After I checked the wires I think the always-on power may come from the metal box(~5"x5", is it a computer?) under dashboard if it's not from a gateway box.

View 1 RepliesBase model CD player stopped ejecting CD's the other day. I got so mad I started to beat on the radio with my fist and, of course, it finally does eject and I shatter the CD as it comes out. What a P.O.S. Have most people just gotten new radios under warranty?
View 1 RepliesI've had the Dension Ice Link plus for my iPod for about a year and a half and it has worked flawlessly. Two days ago, though, the radio now reads that there is "no CD player" when I try to use it. I called Dension support and after a few other diagnostic procedures, the tech asks me to reset the radio by pulling the fuse. I wait a couple minutes with the fuse out and every single wire detached from the radio. When I reconnect, the radio is not reset. So I try again, this time for over 1/2 hour; still no reset.
View 8 RepliesI've had my 2006 V6 for a few months now and I've encountered a few annoying little problems that I would like more information on before I go to the dealer for my 5000 mile service...
1) Every time I start the car and pull out of the driveway there is a rather loud clicking noise. It sounds like the car is slipping into gear. There is no jolt or hesitation, and you can't feel anything, you just hear the noise. It happens when I go over about 10mph, just once, every time I start up.
2) At higher speeds when I start to accelerate say from 50 to 70 mph there is a high pitched whine. It is like the car is winding up before it takes off.
3) Sometimes there is a clicking noise coming from the dash board. Like an electronic clicking noise when you click on a link in a website. It clicks a dozen times and then stops.
4) One time the radio controls stopped working and the radio control panel started blinking on and off rapidly. After about three minutes everything returned to normal.
