I have always been good about it, but I have been stressed this month so I messed up a bit. First I missed it on the very first white pill that you start (I didn't double up, I took regularly) then I missed it this week once (the third week pills) which was a few days ago (again I didn't double up, I just took regularly after) then today I had unprotected sex. I have plan b and am contemplating on taking it in order to be safe. My questions are:
If I didn't take the Plan b, would I be okay?
If I do take the plan B, will it make me super sick? and should I take my birth control regular since I have took Plan B?

I had sex 2 days later when i was still spotting on my period. The next day we had sex again. How likely is it that i could be pregnant? View 1 RepliesI have been a user of the nuvaring for 2 years and 2 months at this point. I have a 2 year old child already, but the Nuvaring is the only method of birth control I've ever used. Never have I had a problem with it until now. I got my last cycle January 24th, 2016. (It usually hits 3 days once taken out.) I have followed all the instructions to a 'T' and am always on time taking the ring out and putting it back in. Never once have I missed or skipped my period while on the nuvaring. Am I pregnant?

View 1 RepliesI had the Nexplanon 3 year birth control implant put in February of 2013 when i was 16 years old. Up until early-mid June, I had not had any periods. Now, I have had my period on and off for almost an entire month. It is mostly spotting but enough to require the use of tampons and refrain from sexual activity. I have been pretty emotional lately and was up last night with bad cramps. Nothing in my daily schedule or eating habits has changed therefore I do not understand what could be causing this. ALSO, I have been experiencing extreme fatigue. Does anyone have ideas as to why this is occurring? I would hate to have the implant removed because this is the first time it has given me problems so far and I'm not even sure it is the cause.

So I took microgynon Ed for three months and still my periods are not regular. So can I continue taking pills? And I have a plan for 2nd baby. We were planning to have sex the day after my period (which I think would be on March 26) and we agreed that he should STILL wear condoms for extra protection. We used condom before, before he reach climax he pulled out of me, removed the condom and worked on his buddy for about 3 minutes and ejaculated. Someone on other site that pulling out with condom is unsafe, that's why i'm a little confused now. So my questions are:
1. Is our plan of having sex right after my period okay as one of our birth control methods?
2. Is pulling out (w/ the condom on his penis) before he ejaculates really unsafe?
3. Sex right after period ends plus condom: are there still any chances of me getting pregnant?
I had hormones tested and I am in menopause. I have not had a period in 4 years. Only been off the pill for a month after being on it for a long time. I am told I should still use condoms for birth control, which myself and hubby don't like at all. Chances of getting pregnant may not be likely but can happen. I really prefer to use nothing, but I don't want to end up with a pregnancy at this age. Anyone in their 40's and 50's have gone through this? What was your choice of birth control when the doctor takes you off the pill? Should I not worry about it and use zero protection? Do you think my doctor is being ridiculous?
