Clitoris Situated In Wrong Place - Directly Under My Urethra

Mar 6, 2016

I'm pretty sure my clit is in the wrong place, I've never had any problems with it 'working' however it is situated directly under my urethra, like the top bit of it is sort of attached. Will this cause any health problems?

Eye Inflammation Fly Flew Directly Into Eyeball

I've a question about eye inflammation. About a week and half to two weeks ago, while I was working in my yard, a fly flew directly into my eyeball and then flew off. Now here we are and my eyeball has been inflamed and sore for almost 5 days now. It doesn't feel like a scratch of the eye, more light sensitivity and pain along with being bloodshot. I'm just wondering what might be causing these symptoms now.

Ulcerative Colitis Directly Linked To Diet?

I'm 23 years old and was diagnosed with proctitis in Sept 06. I visited my GP when I was 17 and explained about my symptoms but was told it was IBS. Gradually things got worse and in 2005 I was eventually referred for a colonoscopy where I was diagnosed with Proctitis. My GP was rubbish and prescribed me Asacol and I kept on visiting him insisting that I was not getting better and the bleeding and toilet urgency was getting worse but he did nothing. In June 07 I paid nearly £2000 to BUPA for private investigations as I was angry with not getting better. Days after my private investigations I became terribly ill and was hospitalised for 5 weeks and underwent more investigations in which I was then told it had spread and I now had UC. As a result I was off work for 3 months and was on steroids, suppositories, azathioprine, balsalazide and iron tablets. The bleeding and toilet urgency stopped and I felt like I was getting better. Then in Nov the bleeding started again. I visited my consultant who arranged for an emergency sigmoidoscopy and as a result of the investigations I was admitted to hospital for 4 days. I was discharged on steroids and the above medicines and over christmas the bleeding stopped. However it started again in the new year and I have just recently been told that I have to be hospitalised again but I have to wait for a bed to become available.

I feel so down and don't have a clue what to do, I have a mortgage and a career and feel like I'm going to lose it all. I find myself bursting into tears at the thought of having this illness forever. I have recently started going for acupuncture as I am willing to try anything to get my liFe back. I feel myself asking all medical professionals is there anything I can do and they just say try not too let it get you down. Does anyone know if it is directly linked to diet? or does anyone do or know of anything that helps?

Menopause :: Anxiety When Something Is Wrong

I would like to know how many of you live in dread and fear of something horrible being wrong with you or happening to you? For the last year, I am almost in a total panic that I have something horrible. The menopause has made me so afraid, I get these daily health emails and its always about cancer or heart disease, and I know this information is meant to be useful and helpful, it makes my anxiety worse. Anything dealing with cancer is scary to me. I never was like this before, I had a rational approach. I just wondered if this is happening to other people, the other issue I am noticing is nausea, some of the other women here have said its apart of menopause too and I am now thinking whats next? I have anxiety, heat flashes, and now bad stomach issues.

Anxiety :: Something Is Horribly Wrong Feeling

I am new here but have been dealing with anxiety for at least 10 years. I have been to the er 3 times in the last 4 or5 months. They can't find anything. I have a constant pressure in the left side of my chest and always feel like it is hard to breathe. I get pain in my left arm and , Up the left side of my face, headaches and tingling feelings. I just went 2 days ago and feel no better. This is really ruining me. I feel like it has to be something else and I feel like it could be a blood clot. I had an ekg done chest x ray and blood work was all good. They also did the D-dimer test which checks for any clotting in your blood and the results were also good. I know blood clots get over looked alot and I feel like this may be the case. I don't want it to be and I want all of the results from the other night to be correct but it is so hard to me to believe that all of this could truly be from anxiety.I don't feel stressed all of the time. Even when I feel like the day is going great these pains still present themselves. In scared that I have something really wrong that they are missing but it has cost me 5k in my last 3 er visits just to tell me i'm ok.

Alcoholism :: Fear Of Doing Something Wrong After Drinking

Every time I drink alcohol I always wake up and fear that I have done and said something horrible. My friends all say that I am quite and a good drunk and always assure me that i did nothing wrong. Even when I don't do anything wrong I convince myself that I did. I make up things in my head and then I can't tell if it's an actual memory or a made up thought in my head. It scares the sh*t out of me. I get anxious and depressed after drinking. I feel like a total loser. I feel like I am an awful person. i do not drink a whole lot but i do black out even after small amounts of alcohol. i know i shouldn't drink but you know how social events are. im normally shy and quiet when sober im very responsible and may have a little social anxiety. i still worry about things i think i might have done a year ago but nothing has ever come of it so really i should probably just drop it but im having a hard time.  am i the only crazy person out there?

Recurring Shingles - Spots Appear In The Same Place?

I'm 36 and had my first outbreak in early June. The rash appeared on my right front abdomen. This week I started feeling like I did last month -- very tired, very nauseous and yesterday two spots appeared on my rt. breast. The physician's assistant I saw today took one look at the spots and said it wasn't shingles because it wasn't in the same area as last time. Do reoccurring shingles have to appear in the same place? Can an outbreak only produce one or two spots?

Trouble Breathing At Work Place

For about 4 months now, I've been having trouble breathing at work. it started out as 15 minutes to a maximum 1hour. I'm thinking it came around the same time the air conditioning came on at work. Now it can start before my lunch(noon) and go on till I'm home(5:20pm). Which gives me 20 minutes of not being at the office and I can now breath normal that I'm out of the office.

Hives :: No Allergy - Only Appear One Place At A Time

My son is experiencing hives that do not itch and only appear one place at a time on his body. They usually last a day and then a new one will appear and the old one is gone. He says they are tingly and sometimes hurt. This started 2 years ago and lasted for 4 weeks and never appeared again until last week. Both times he had been swimming and was bumped in the face. The welts then appeared a few hours later. He was tested for allergies and found none. Has anyone experienced anything like this? Worried it may be an immune disorder.

PMR And GCA :: GCA - Tight Painful Place On My Heel

I'm told it's GCA, biopsy result awaited but consultand said other symptoms highly suggestive of it. As far as I know I do not have PMR but I do have MS and Alopecia. I have noticed over the past few weeks I have a VERY tight painful place on my heel, if I sit with leg extended and pull my foot towards me there is a pain and much tightness on my heel. Is that a symptom of PMR? I keep stretching it but it seems to be getting worse.

Hip Replacement :: Ceramic Insert Is Out Of Place

Had a surprise appointment with my surgeon today (I am 4 weeks) - he tells me that on reviewing my X Ray, my ceramic cup is not in the correct place - had another X Ray which confirmed it.

He suggests replacing it in January - so that will be nearly 3 months off work, to be followed by a corrective operation, and at least another 3 months off work after that.

I have been through all this, and now I can look forward to doing it all again in 6-8 weeks time.  If I wasn't a strong bloke, I would cry

Should I let him do it, or should I get referred somewhere else?

Wisdom Tooth Extraction (broken) Gone Wrong

I am 31 years old and 6 days ago I had my lower wisdom teeth removed. One had broken through the gums and I was told by a few dr's that it should eventually be removed. I finally had the time and removed it. However, my Dentist also removed the one on the other side (which had not broken through and was not impacted) and now that one is severely infected. The extraction process took almost 2 hours and there was a lot of bleeding. I went back to the Dentist to have it checked out and was told it was normal. I then followed all directions but movement decreased and swelling increased.

Swelling increased so much in two days that it was affecting my swallowing and eventually breathing and I went to the ER. There, they gave me clindamycin, for the infection. They kept me overnight for observation and did an catscan and 360 xray of my face. Both came up negative and they were relatively happy and sent me home.

Swelling had gone down, fever subsided, and I was feeling a lot better. But now 2 days later there has not been any improvement and I am in severe pain and can't open my mouth very much and can only get some mush in.

After the ER, I went to my PCP and then eventually back to the ER because lack of improvement.

I am also taking Motrin and Percocet.

Hidradenitis Suppurativa :: Disease DOES NOT Occur In Children - Wrong

I spotted a fault in the article about Hidradenitis Suppurativa.

It claims that this disease DOES NOT occur in children -- that it mostly affects from the ages 20-40. This is incredibly completely incorrect. I am 18 years old and mine began to appear at the young age of 7.

I honestly don't even have a question. I just wanted to go ahead and clear that up.

Burning Sensation In My Urethra In My Perineal Area After Sex

A few weeks ago I had sex with my girlfriend of 3 1/2 years. About half an hour after, I started to experience a burning sensation in my urethra in my perineal area. I took some ibuprofen and a hot bath and the pain subsided after about an hour. We had sex again over the next few weeks with no more issues. However we had sex the other day and the same result. A mild burn in my urethra. I thought that it might be the fact that I drink a lot of soda (bad for you I know) so I have started drinking strictly water the past few days in hopes that it would go away. It hasn't. I went to the doctor and they said it was probably a UTI and so they prescribed me ciprofloxacin. I just started taking it today and the pain has been off and on for about five days. I have no other side effects other than a burning in my urethra. It doesn't hurt to urinate, no discharge, etc.

Kidney Stones In Urethra - Urinary Incontinence

A CT scan showed my husband had a kidney stone in his urethra. He is not sure if he passed it yet or not. One day he had huge, huge pain and I took him to the hospital and they gave him pain pills but since then (a week ago) he's had no pain, so he thinks he might have passed it. Only one problem - he has urinary incontinence which is driving him crazy. Any thoughts?

Women :: Painful Burning Sensation In Urethra - No UTI / STD

I am a 21 year old female in the UK, and I have been suffering with a painful burning sensation which I believe to be coming from my urethra since September 2014. The pain comes and goes throughout the day, and it will be at its most intense after having urinated, and after sex. At its worst I struggle to walk. The need to urinate has increased but there is no difficulty in going, though I do now most often have two streams when urinating which sometimes will stop and start. On multiple occasions there has also been thick blood in my urine too.

No UTIs have ever shown up on the paper dip test at my local GPs, though I have had UTIs in the past. I have tested negative to all STDs. I have had ultrasound scans which have shown nothing abnormal. I have had numerous internal examinations by doctors and one by a Gynaecologist, all have said everything looks normal and healthy.

My GP has had me try at least 6 different types of antibiotics but none have had any effect on me, except for Cephalexin which I took once a day for 28 days, the pain felt lifted and sex was possible again, but 3-4 days after having finished my course I was back to how I was before them.

I drink plenty of fluids (including cranberry juice) and eat healthy, I don't drink alcohol, smoke, or take drugs. All pain killers have very little effect on the pain, only a hot water bottle sat between my thighs brings any relief. Taking cranberry capsules, and/or cystitis relief sachets has had no effect.

I am about ready to give up on my local GP, its doctors and the NHS, no matter how many appointments I make and attend no progress is ever made, no tests are ever taken and my request to be referred to a Urologist has been repeatedly turned down, I am only ever told to drink more water and to try a new antibiotic, which I pay for each time, no one seems willing to search and to find out what is causing the pain. Affording to go private is a problem for me though, and so I just hope there is someone out there who can relate to me and give me guidance/knowledge on what to do.

This pain is now negatively affecting all aspects of my life.
