Is it possible to wipe too often and hard and irritate your vagina? I have had constipation lately and have had to wipe a lot and have noticed my vagina is getting sore and a little itchy. Also my discharge is a slight yellow color. No odor though. I doubt that it is an STD however.

View 3 RepliesA little over a month ago I noticed a lump in my right labia majora, somewhat near where my thigh meets the lips. It itches on the surface sometimes and if you pinch the skin you can feel a pea sized lump a little deep in. Not too deep but also not directly under the skin. I thought it was an ingrown hair but no white head has appeared for me to try and pop it. It has not grown, it only hurts if I mess with it often, and the little pimple like bump (with no head) on the surface sometimes feels bigger and itchier. It feels kinda hard but it is moveable. Idk if it is an ingrown hair anymore, anyone have info on what it may be? I already made an appointment but it is not until next week.

I don't remember it NOT being there. It's like the size of a grain of rice and doesn't hurt at all, there is no itchiness as well and no discolouration where it is. I had cortisone shots which only seemed to irritate the nerves in both feet. I just started PT but am desperate to hear that others have recovered without surgery. I know that only the horror stories usually make it online but I'm getting very depressed about all of this

View 1 RepliesSince the beginning of July I have been suffering with what I was to believe were piles very sore bottom and sometimes small amounts of blood on wiping, after about a month I went to the docs and saw a nurse prescriber who never did a dre but said I had a yeast infection as had recently finished a course of antibiotics. About a week later they were no better and I thought I might have an anal fissure as it was so painful having a Bm so went back to the doc who did a dre and treated me with rectogesic until I was due to see the gastro doc as I had had a flex sig a year ago and was due a follow up, although weird stuff it seemed to help. 3 days later I saw the gastro guy and he looked with a anal scope and said he could feel 2 hems and to stop taking rectogesic, I then got better for 2-3 weeks and then seemingly had a relapse after being constipated and was straining. So I've used the piles cream had no blood symptoms but can feel 2 little spots just inside rectum and one slightly bigger one further up by the sphincter. The two are pimple sized and the other is pea shaped all are quite hardy sore to touch! I have absolutely no idea what they are or what to do next but they are much sorer after a Bm?? Been to doctors 5 times now with no real solution...

View 1 RepliesIs there a HS specialist? I have been dealing with this between my legs and it goes up into my butt crack. I was diagnosed in 1997 with hidradenitis suppurativa . From 1997- 2000 I would periodically go to a surgeon for outpatient surgery, for removal of one or two at a time. I was also placed on antibiotics that did not seem to help. I regularly take Epson salt baths, use pimple cream, and wipe the area down with alcohol. This gives very little relief at this point. It use to prove much more effective. I had surgery in 2005 and couldn't walk for 3 weeks. It seemed to be better for about 1 year. After a year it got much worse. I¿m at a point where the scarring is as bad as it was before the surgery. At any given time I have 2 to 3 swollen up around my v area and 2 to 3 around my anis. It is hard to sit, walk, or even stand at times. I have an appointment with a dermatologist May 25 and we¿ll see what happens. I just feel like I have tried everything.
