It's been many years since I have naturally had a period and last month I spotted and cramped for about 10 days... And this month it's happening again. Only on day 2, but should I consider it a period??
View 5 RepliesOn July 5th I had both my tubes removed because they were blocked/scared as a result of a ruptured appendix. I couldn't start the IVF proceed until they were removed. I am all healed after a month and I am still waiting for AF to come to start the IVF testing....What has the wait been for others after tubal surgery? It's hard and strange to wait for Aunt Flow!

View 1 RepliesMy husband and I have been TTC for about 1 year. I was suppose to get my period on Sunday, it is now Thursday and Aunt Flo still hasn't shown up. I took a PG test yesterday and it was negative. Today I am experiencing an unusual amount of white, watery discharge. Also, last time my husband and I had sex (Sunday) he said, my discharge was thicker and creamier than normal. From what I've read, I think I might have an infection BUT I can't help to HOPE I might be PG.
View 1 RepliesI have a problem with the rotten smell after sex. I have been with the same man for over 20 years and the smell is everyday. A little history, I had a tubal in 95, a reversal in 2005. No std's, no yeast infections, I don't have a cycle anymore and went to obgyn about it. What she told me is sometimes partners are just allergic to each other. Does that make any sense at all? I have tried everything. My husband has trouble urinating afterwards. Yes, I think others can smell it also, that's how bad it is. Do I go to another doc, or what? I am 49 and health otherwise. 140 pounds. I recently had dentures in and was given penicillin so not to get an infection. The smell disappeared. But after the medicine was gone, the smell is back. I need some help, some say from tubal, some say bv, others say partner and some say menopause. What the heck can I do or what should I do?

View 1 RepliesI had unprotected sex 10 DAYS ago. I took ipill within an hour after sex. However, 2 days after, I started having black blood stains. And from the 4th day till today (7th day), I started to bleed with the flow is similar to the 3rd day of my usual period time. I had my period about 17 days ago. And it was a heavy flow compared to my usual flow. Could u kindly advice what does this mean and should i do anything ? And i believe it can't be possible for pregnancy.
View 1 RepliesI had unprotected sex the 23rd and got my period the 24th, 25th, and the 26th. I had a regular flow until the 26th, where my flow just stopped midday like a faucet. This has never happened to me before, my period has always decreased in flow until I've had just brown discharge. I've never gone from a regular flow to no flow just like that. I ovulated earlier in the month, the 9th. Could I have gotten pregnant?

I was anorexic 2yrs ago. Now everyone call me shorter.
I had a tubal ligation in July after my third child was born (c-section). I bled the normal amount afterwards, about 6 weeks. Then I finally, got my first real period on October 27th, it lasted until December 13th, it came back on December 23rd and it still hasn't stopped, I made an appointment with my gynecologist for the 19th. It's a pretty heavy flow, I have to change my pad and tampon every 3 hours, I can go 6 at night. I'm not anemic, I had my iron checked at the health department when I went for my recertification. It's been 9 weeks of cramping, back aches, and bloating, I'm just really done at this point. I would like someone's opinion on this, has anyone ever had this happen to them? Is it just a hormone imbalance? Does it seem concerning? I don't want to go to my appointment completely oblivious as to what it might be.

View 3 RepliesI'm 17, and I got my period when I was about 13. It would come fairly regularly, but I never really tracked it to the day. About 2 years ago my periods became further apart, every two or so months, but I never really payed attention. I now haven't had my period in over a year, and am beginning to get quite worried. I have been to a doctor (about 6months ago) and had blood and hormone tests, all of which came back fine. My doctor said to come back if I still hadn't had it in a year, which I plan to do as soon as I can get an appointment. I was wondering if anyone had any ideas on why it might be? I am a virgin, eat completely healthy, exercise every day, am at the middle of healthy weight range for my age/height, and have never been on any birth control. My doctor said he thought it unlikely to be cysts but I'm not ruling it out (just crossing my fingers that it's not). I haven't been too worried as its quite convenient with my very active lifestyle, but i realize I need to get it sorted out.
View 1 RepliesI had my period was June 2015. I have now taken my period for the first time since then, and it has been going on for 3 weeks and doesn't look like it's going to stop anytime soon. I am 24 years old and have went to my doctor about this, but they said it was normal. Honestly I don't think it is normal but I might be wrong. Has anyone experienced anything like this and know what could be wrong? I do have Crohn's disease but I don't think it has anything to do with that.

Or does it mean that i am become infertile? I am not on any contraception, my periods are regular but i haven't been able to fall pregnant even though i am having regular sex. About a month ago, I had intercourse with my boyfriend, and afterwards I bled heavily and cramped really bad for a week. I know this bleeding was not my period because I still had a week to go before I took my pills that would start my period. When it was time for me to get my period, I had light bleeding and it ended a day earlier than it should. We used a condom and I take my birth control between 5pm-6pm every night. View 2 RepliesI already had my period this month. Literally comes the 1st of the month. Monday I lost my job and yesterday I had sex with my husband. I haven't noticed any spotting all day until just now. I got up to go to the bathroom and when I wiped there was bright red blood.
Normally when I'm with my husband we are very active and try many positions. His favorite being from behind. Yesterday I noticed that he was hurting me, felt like he was hitting my insides and normally that doesn't happen.
I'm just wondering if it's a normal thing in the sense it has happened to other women and maybe it's just from being a little more active.
