there's an elongated lump on my inner thigh and it hurts to walk. i am 15 and not sexualy active and i don't feel comfortable talking about this with my mom. it doesn't have an opening or anything and i don't have good pain tolerance. but if i ice it and stick a clean needle in it will i solve this? it hurts soooo bad and im glad im not the only one.

View 1 RepliesI used to shave my bikini area (really badly) and about a year ago I got just 1 bump - the size of a pea - and it's been there forever now and it just won't go away!! There's no white head or anything since it's just the exact colour of my skin, it doesn't hurt at all but it's just a bit embarrassing!! I've tried creams and needles but it's still there... any ideas on what this could be???

Looks somewhat like blotches of birthmarks around my bikini line. Its lighter when my skin is dry. Right out of the shower it turns more red. Outline is a darker red. Inside is lighter shade....?

The doctor wants a biopsy because it is a solid mass. I'm very freaked out. I guess I just want to know what to expect and how worried I should be. I don't know what to think. So i took some advice off of this site and i popped it and thick white stuff then blood came out. Well now it is even bigger and has a purple spot in the middle. Way under the skin. I thought it went away and I felt it tonight while showering. Flesh colored mainly. Maybe slightly red but it feels hard when I press the area. No other symptoms.

For the last couple of years, I've had what seems to be a semi-hard painless raised "bump" or "lump" about the size of a nickel on the upper rear portion of my scalp below my hair.
As far as I can tell, the bump hasn't "grown" much in recent years, and it's completely painless. Additionally, if I "push" it, it seems to move back and forth under the skin and above the skull.
Since I've never had any pain from it, I sometimes forget it's there. That said, I'd love to hear what it might be. I haven't had health coverage for a little while, and I'm a tiny bit concerned if it's something very serious - hopefully not.
I was lying in bed the other night, and I felt a lump on the outside skin between my vagina and rectum. I got up and with difficulty, tried to look at it in a hand mirror. There is a purple/dark coloured lump... about a centimeter long? Like a blood blister sort of thing?
View 1 RepliesI have a what seems to be a rash around my bikini line. It is making my skin uneven and itchy down there. I am getting open sores down there as well. I am not sure how I got this. I haven't been sexually active in over 4 months and this just started occurring maybe for a week now. It started with just an it here and there but it has gotten so much worse. When it first started, I was putting neosporin on the rash but it just got worse. Now I am putting African Shea butter on it and it stops the itching. I really need to know what it is or at least try to treat it.

View 1 RepliesWhen i shave my bikini area i get really bad pimples and bumps. I know this is extremely disgusting. I use shaving cream, and a new razor. I tried shaving with the hair like some other sites told me to, but too much hair is left, i simply can't shave like that. The only way i can get rid of all of the hair is if i shave against it. I soak it with warm water for at least 15 minutes, then apply the shaving cream, then use a new razor, and afterwards i'll dry it well and usually apply petroleum jelly and some kind of antibacterial cream to stop the bumps or wipe it with alcohol. My pubic mound is now covered with pimple scars and is discolored, is there anyway i can make my vagina look normal again?

SO, i started to shave young (pubic hairs..bikini line, vaginal area) at 12 or 13. And ever nice i started i would get these in grown hairs. I am half black - so i guess i am prone to that (curly hair growing inwards). But now almost my entirety of my inner thighs are covered with these dark marks and scars. And too many ingrown hairs. I am too embarrassed to go swimming, I never wear shorts because you can see them. Also I have these sick pimples down there... Waxing - - the scars are still there! When i was younger - i was dumb enough to pick at them and.. well it is just getting worse over the years. !

5-7 days later i was feeling tenderness and a little tingling burning pain, but thought it was my period, which was unusually heavy as i`m on birth control.
MONDAY sept 9 i knew something was wrong. the tingling got worse and i went to some doctor i knew for blood test and he also gave me DOXYCYCLINE (he s not a gynecologist) i also asked for ACYCLOVIR in case have herpes. i started taking them at 4pm
TUESDAY morning i threw up with yellow stuff and had a lot of green/yellow/brown watery then cottage cheese discharge, which became yellow watery and by the end of the day pink. pain got worse
WEDNESDAY morning i went to free clinic, where they told me most likely it CHLAMYDIA or GONORREA, told me to continue doxy and gave me shot for gonorrea
THURSDAY i noticed the discharge got water and thicker, pain was still there. in the afternoon after a long flight and traveling i noticed red single BUMPS on my skin in my bikini area, between ******* and vagina and above the clitoris, some of the hurt, some itch, not considerably. 7 in total, plus one on the labia, just not sure if that`s a bump. the next day 2 of them had water inside. i immediately texted my friend i knew he has herpes and he said it looked like it 99% and we now can be in relationship ha! i wasn't sleeping all night, googling and googling, pain seemed to increase and the bumps itched a little bit.
FRIDAY i went to my gynecologist and he said it`s not herpes(the culture text will be ready in 10 days), not even STD, but YEAST. He said you are not supposed to be treated without knowing the reason and doxycycline is old and not supposed to be taken for a week but for 2 days. also the std test will show only in 2 weeks after the exposure.
stopped taking meds and taking xre of my yeast now, hoping for the best. and i got my lesson!!
Okay so I am pretty worried. I shave my bikini line every now and again when needed. This morning i woke up with a little spot in my underwear that was bleeding. I haven't shaved in a few weeks. I checked down there to see what was up and right on my left side of labia there was a red bump. It feels really smooth and it is a tad bloody. It also itches. I AM NOT SEXUALLY ACTIVE.
View 13 RepliesI have hard, dark skin on my lower back, I think it was due to my bed being broke some long time ago when there was a spring sticking out, it might have been scraping my back, but now it's like over a year that my bed is alright, nothing's really wrong with it, and the skin on the lower back is still dark, I tried TONS of different methods to get rid of it, but couldn't. I tried skin softener kind of cream or something, or wax, I can't remember, but it had something to do with sunflowers or sunflower seeds, it helped me at first, I used to put it on my lower back after every time I went for a shower, but then the dark skin started coming back, and pretty recently (about a month ago) I tried a special tea some people recommend, it helped as well, the dark skin was gone for maybe around a few weeks, and I used to pour the tea over my lower back after having a shower, and I didn't dry my lower back after shower so that my skin could absorb it, and well, the dark skin started coming back again, please someone help me! I've tried a million things! I also tried using sponges and what not to scrub the skin off, which didn't even do anything.
View 1 RepliesI have 2 sebaceous cysts on my bikini line area near my rear end. They have both gotten infected and I put ice on them to bring down the inflammation. When the infection was gone, I put hot compresses on them to help get them to form a head and when they started to drain, I helped by squeezing them. I have been using antibacterial soap in that area and they haven't come back so far.
When I was first diagnosed that these were sebaceous cysts, my OB GYN had said that it was best to not have surgery because of their location. She had prescribed antibiotics - which didn't help.
I didn't see a lot of comments about cysts by females in the bikini line region, so I wanted to share my experience in case someone else has them in that area of their body. I wish there was an easier and less painful way to get these suckers off of me, but I have yet to find a way.
