Vagina Feels Swollen After Holding In Urine?

Two days ago, I was in a position where I had to hold in my urine for a few hours, and I had to go pretty badly. When I was finally able to go, I felt a strange slight pressure (or something) near the opening of my vagina once I finished urinating and my muscles contracted. However, it was minor enough to forget about until I noticed it again the next day, when I felt the same sensation in the shower while bending in a certain position. This morning, my vagina has the same sensation -- slightly swollen (or heavy, or something -- or maybe like something small is stuck inside) -- near the opening. I don't have any other symptoms, except that my urine is darker than usual. I did have quite a bit of discharge this morning (watery, clear white), but I normally have some discharge. I've examined myself and didn't notice anything unusual. I even inserted my middle finger into my vagina to feel for anything abnormal (I read about some concerning things). My labia minora might be a little swollen; I can't quite tell. Could my urethra be swollen? UTI? The sensation isn't severe, but a little uncomfortable when I think about it.
I am 25 years old and have never had children or any known serious health issues.
I would really appreciate some advice as to what this could be to ease my mind before seeing a doctor.

My mom is eating less and less everyday. I have been trying all kinds of food to eat, and only polish sausage and potato chips seem to work. When all else fails I give her a scoop of Ice cream in some glaucoma. Last night she had a ice cream cone and mashed potatoes for dinner. The Doctor told me to give her whatever she will eat.
She will go to the bathroom to make a bowel movement, and I help her when she is finish, but she holds her urine all day and she goes in her diaper while she is sleep. She wears depends during the day. She doesn't seem to be in any pain, and she is not agitated.
She underlines the words in her Dr. seuss books and plays with her doll. Her toes and foot have spasms as well as her hands, and its hard for her to snap her night gown. Its takes her a while to recognize me or other family members. She doesn't have many words left and i have to show her what to do. She went to bed without her meds because she kept trying to suck and chew the pill and she spit it out in the toilet and rinsed her mouth with the water in the cup. (LOL) This happened twice. Medicare only gives me 30 days worth of medicine.
My problem is I want to stop sending my mom to the adult center, because she will not let them feed her and she will not eat. She just sleeps, and doesn't participate and any activities. Shes stays 4 hours enough time for me to do whatever I want. I am retired and 53 yrs old, I can do this.
My family helps on weekends, but they seem to think she needs to socialize. They do not see her slump in a chair staring and looking weak with dried lips, and seeming depressed thinking she is going to stay there. I can't stand it anymore. I kept her home for two days and it takes two hours, but I got food, water and meds in her.
I let her sleep as long as she needs too, and every hour or so I offer her something to eat and encourage her to sip a drink from her cup. I walk her around the house and we look at the flowers. I have a nice wheel chair that medicare provided and my friends come along to help me run errands.
I don't need to send her away to be with other dementia people, cause I have support, and don't work. Today I called the social worker to request in home care for three days a week and 4 hours each day. Because I think at this stage she needs one on one stimulation and quiet. She sits in her chair at the window and sleep. The doctor told me her dementia is very severe and she needs 24 hour care and requested to see her in 4 months.
She is 71 years old. This all started in 2002 when dad died. She became very depressed, and in 2007 she started getting lost and not paying her bills, and doctor also says there were signs of mini strokes, and she is type 2 diabetes.I know my mother is not going to get better, but I want her to feel safe and secure. My sibling are all younger than me, and have jobs and children in school. I retired and moved back here to take care of things and my three little sisters are scared of whats happening. I don't know what's next but I and here for them and her.

Today morning I waked up after sleeping about 9 hours (without going to the bathroom and after drinking a lot before the sleep). After going to the bathroom I felt pretty acute pain in my lower abdominal. It became milder during the day, still preserving though and appearing sometimes with more strength while changing position (sitting, or standing) and also reminding about itself sometimes after urinating (but not always). It kind of feels like muscle pain and earlier could be felt also while touching the muscles close to the penis. Now it is way milder, but didn't go. Can this be a result of muscle stretch or something like this?

Me and my gf had a intercourse yesterday. We had it many times, let's say close to 7 in 2 days.. It was little rough. I'm 25. I am sexually clean and so is my partner. We wear non latex condoms, when I wore latex condoms with my previous partner I would get horrible utis. I stopped using latex and they stopped, I figured I was allergic. My new partner is larger then my previous one, he also likes sex multiple times. This is not a problem with me other than right after sex the first time my vagina opening starts to swell. The top wall (when laying on my back) swells and is VERY painful, and will stay painful for at least a day after wards. Not to get to graphic but you can't even put a finger in. And it is only the opening if I finally get him in (usually the day after he is fine inside till he goes to pull out or push in. I've tried many positions and it still hurts. I am sure he is stretching me, but he is not tearing there's no blood after sex. Any ideas on how to stop it or heal it faster. Also lube I do not think is an issue. We tried that last time and it was still swollen.

Hi! I am a 23 year old female. 3 days ago I felt irritation in my vaginal area. I looked at it and I have a swollen lump in the front area of my labia minora, like near my clitoris. It feels like it has fluid inside, and it is the same color as the skin around it. I'd say it is the size of a small marble. It is very annoying and I am getting concerned since it hasn't gone away yet. My period also started that day so I'm not sure if it has anything to do with it.

On a doctor's visit back in December, it was discovered that i had microscopic blood in my urine. This went on for a few months, and increased with every doctor's check up. A urologist did an ultrasound of the kidney/bladder back in February, and all was normal. He also did cystoscopy which was normal too. He also did a test which shows my bladder holds sufficient amount of urine. The problem is, we never really figured out what the cause was, and recently i have had a new symptom (mucus tissue looking things in my urine). I am considering going back to a different urologist, but has anyone experienced something similar, or know what tissue looking bits in urine is?

Test show that I have a enlarged kidney, I have protien in my urine, severe back pain to the right side, strong smelly urine, blood pressure very high now on 10mg blood pressure tablets, Doctors have done tests on my kidneys and say the test shows the kidneys are functioning normally so I have not to go back to hospital for six months.

I'm a 26 yr old male, I've been peeing cloudy for months now, not every time I pee, usually just once a day, and the rest seem normal. Lately it seems like it's more cloudy than before. Also at night i have to get up alot to pee, but its usually just a few drops each time. Just recently two things happened, on two different occasions. First, I was peeing and it seemed to be normal color, but at the last end it turned white/cloudy and right at the last drop or two it looked like white flaky particles in it. Since then I've been noticing the particles more often. Second thing, almost two weeks after noticing the particles I was peeing one night and it seemed to burn quite bad at the last few drops, and when I was done it didn't feel like a finished, felt like I still had more. I went to outpatients the other night, did a urine sample and the test come back negative for UTI, so they sent it to a lab, next morning they did blood work and another urine sample. Waiting for the results now. Dr thinks it could be a prostate infection (prostatitis) caused from chlamydia so he put me on Ciprofloxacin. I dont think its from chlamydia because the two girls I've had unprotected sex with both been tested recently and come back clean. He also said its possible it could be stones.

Im 29 year old female, i've always thought my painful bladder and urination was from chronic bladder infections for years until my doctor recently sent me to a specialist and sent off for urine culture and came back negative. .have all the symptoms of a bladder infection. Have large amount of blood (4+) ..Urologist sent my for a ct ivp to look for stones or look for something abnormal with ureters or kidney, nothing ..everything came back normal..now the urologist ordered a test to look at the bladder with scope through my urethra and also take a biopsy of bladder wall to look for cancer cells..owww. Any answers on what this can be I have all the symptoms of bladder cancer but im young and no family history of bladder cancer im a non smoker /alcohol drinker.

For... quite possibly years now, I have been holding in my ejaculations whilst masturbating. By "holding in", I do not mean I physically hold anything closed or prevent anything with my hands. If I had to compare it to something, I'd say it's similar (if not the same) as stopping myself in the middle of micturition, which I assume is the closing of the external sphincter.
What I am worried about is if this is bad for my health in any way, such as semen clogging up tubules... or any other risks. I know a little about anatomy, and if it is the external sphincter that I am using to hold my ejaculation in, then I assume the semen has exited the vas deferens before I stop it, so will it simply come out when I urinate... or anything along those lines?
Just for clarity, it is not that I cannot ejaculate, as sometimes (especially if I'm particularly aroused or not in the right position to contract the muscles that stop the ejaculation) I can't hold it in properly and do actually ejaculate.

I am a girl who has had this problem for a year and a half. When I hold it, it burns, when I urinate it burns, and after it burns, hurts, and feels so uncomfortable sometimes. I have seen so many doctors who specialise this things. It's not an infection and there's no bacteria. But the weird thing is, is sometimes it doesn't burn when I urinate or even after. I could have a really bad day, then the next day it could be better. It goes on and off. I have tried a food diary, and there's nothing that can cause this. When I have cookies, crackers, candy, things with sugar on top or things with salt on top, it burns more. It is very frustrating and confusing. No one ever understands my pain and burning I go through everyday. I cry sometimes. I have drank cranberry juice but it still hasn't helped. I have also tried many products to put on the skin but that doesn't help. I really don't know if it's on the outside or inside. But, my doctor told me that it could me muscle, that are to tight. So now i'm doing exercising n relaxing those muscles. I really don't know if it's the answer but has anyone ever dealt with kind of the same problem I have? Has anyone done the muscle theraby?

As the title says, I do not masturbate. I'm 18 soon to be 19 and I just don't want to do it myself. I wanted to know if there are any adverse affects I may come across by not masturbating. I am sexually active though, which brings me to my next question. Is it bad to hold in ejaculation when I've reach my orgasm? I don't mean that I grab my penis and stop the flow of sperm, I mean that I hold it in in the same manner that you would hold in urine. For me, holding it in makes the feeling of pleasure last longer. I don't hold it in indefinitely because I can't, and eventually after a few moments I ejaculate anyways, but I wanted to know if holding it in has any side-effects.
