Evidently, this is not an uncommon problem on 2005 - 2007 models. It is (was) also covered by a TSB. I found a related link below but the links to the pictures are broken. Also, the OP states "remove the splash guard panel on the drivers side" which seems odd since the reservoir is on the passenger side.

I have a leaking washer fluid reservoir. Spews out under the car when I try to fill it up and then get the low washer fluid warning. Have always used washer fluid -20F formula.

View 15 RepliesSo i need to replace my windshield washer reservoir because i hit something/bottomed out really hard under my front lip which cracked the reservoir along with the horn, and a few plastic pieces in that area. Any DIY on replacing it? It seems like i need to take off the bumper cover and then it should be straight forward... I already have the lower grille off so i can access the reservoir just not seeing how its mounted...

View 2 RepliesOn our '06 Avalon Limited, my wife had parked the car was parked in the driveway and about 30 min later I walked by and heard that the wiper fluid pump motor was running non-stop. The only way I could get it to shut off was to loosen the fender liner and reach in and un-plug it. I'm thinking relay, but would it be that, the switch, the motor itself, where should I start and how can I tell or diagnose short of replacing them?
View 3 RepliesI just picked up a 2014.5 Camry (my 1st Toyota) and how full the windshield washer reservoir should be at max level. Now hear me out before you fall off your chair from hysterical laughter, if I fill up the reservoir up to the lid like every other car I have owned, after a short drive it will go down and be below the filler neck, clear down under the fender even though I haven't sprayed the washer fluid.
I haven't seen any fluid dripping but I believe I have a leak. Sounds pretty cut and dry but I'm asking just incase Toyota has a weird fill level on the washer reservoir.

View 8 RepliesMy windshield washer warning light is stuck on. I think there is a good reason for it. My washer tank has been converted to a stand alone fuel cell filled with C16. Just looking for any ways to have the tank function properly. I assume the sensor, or float (if there is a float) went bad. Heard of people covering them in lacquer or something to repel moisture.

Is there anything in particular that I need to check? I thought I recalled reading about an issue concerning this but I've not found it.
Just as the title states. The thing I'm wondering is how this happened; I haven't hit any hard bumps nor has the right front had any sort of collision. My guess is it started to leak out about 5 days ago which triggered the low washer fluid light and when I went to put more washer fluid in it tonight it just starts dripping (about half second intervals) out of the valence.

Every time I refill the bottle, the next morning I always find the fluid under driver's side bumper on my driveway.
Recently the dash display indicated that I needed to add washer fluid. I was surprised that it would be low since I rarely use it and had not done so lately.
Yesterday I added water to the bottle and heard a trickling noise as I was doing so. To my surprise the water was leaking out below the car! The bottle remains empty.
Today I was filling the Windshield Washer container and all of the liquid went directly to the floor, that means something is leaking, but I haven't had any warning symbol in the console neither the VAG-COM system, is this a common problem ?, is it too hard to fix it ?, I will assume it should be covered by the CPO warranty ?
View 3 RepliesI recently purchased a 2009 Camry XLE with 14,000 miles on it. So far so good other than the windshield/dash noise rattle when it is cold which I have searched on found a fix. However the other challenge I am having is the windshield washer fluid is leaking. It is a toyota certified car (warranty for 12 mos/ 12,000 miles) so I figured the 160 point inspection was completed expecting they would have topped off all fluids. I filled the washer fluid to where I could see it in the neck of the container. I walked back into my garage to put away the washer fluid, while walking back towards the car I could see something was leaking from under the car. It was leaking from a hole of the plastic directly under the car that covers everything up so you are unable to look up into the engine compartment. What may be causing this leak? I would suspect about 10 to 14 oz leaked.
View 6 RepliesI went to use my windshield washer the other day and no spray came out. The wipers did operate normally, which left me almost unable to see out of the now streaked and dirty windshield.
When I looked under the hood, the reservoir was very low. When I filled it today, it began leaking almost immediately. I crawled underneath and removed some of the plastic underbodies, but could not find where it was coming from. I guess it could be rodents chewing the hoses.
I have a windshield washer fluid leak. It's leaking onto the passenger side floor under the dash. Any have a good place to start looking or how to access the area it might be leaking at?
View 6 Repliestook the car in today for an oil change (06 xls) apparently I got a small leak coming right from the power steering pump.
Apparently that is what he is telling me - could it be from the high pressure return hose? Is it better to get the unit rebuilt or buy a new pump? (I am going to try that lucas power steering fix in the interim), is there a recall or goodwill warranty on this?
2006 with 58000 miles. Never noted overheat or leak on garage floor. Fluid level low in coolant reservoir. Dealer wants to replace water pump.
View 2 RepliesI have a 2005 Pontiac Grand Prix V6 and for some reason my washer fluid sprayer just stopped working. Yes, the fluid is full...hahaa. So anyways, I checked the fuses and they seem to be ok. What I can check before tearing it apart or bringing it in? How do you know if the motor is bad? Where is the motor located in this car? The wipers are working fine, but it'd be nice to clean the windows.
