I have a 2005 Toyota Camry LE, 4 cylinder. Every time it rains the passenger side roof lining gets wet and floor gets a puddle. I did not see any drain holes in the moonroof area. I have read that the drains get clogged, but cannot find them. Looked behind the front wheel wells and did not see any drain tubes.

View 6 RepliesLately my roof lining has been 'squeaking' when I drive over textured surfaces. I previously reported to the dealer as a sunroof issue but now I detect that it's coming from the headliner behind the sunroof. It seems that the lining is loose. How I should approach the dealer to explain this? Am I using the right jargon? All my rattles have been eliminated bar this one and it drives me nuts!

View 1 Replies2002 F150 FX4 w/ 5.4 Just sprung a new oil leak somewhere and I can't tell where it's coming from. The oil is actually dripping off the frame on the passenger side. It looks like the leak is somewhere at the back of the engine on the passenger side above the bell housing. It's dripping on the frame and running down a little ways before dripping to the ground. I can't get a good visual without removing the inner fenders. It's a pretty good leak that just started yesterday. Not a drop before then. I just had the oil changed within the last couple of days if that works.

The water is from the air conditioning condensor and also, I believe, from rain. I believe the drainage hose is clogged... but can't find it. Can you tell me how I resolve this problem? By the way, my Prius has 215 k miles and is going strong.

View 5 RepliesI have recently replaced the clutch, clutch master cylinder, clutch slave cylinder, Strut tower mounts and brakes on my 2002 Hyundai Elantra 5 speed. Everything is working properly but now I have a transmission fluid leak. I can not locate the exact location. It appears that it is dripping down onto the passenger side half axle where it connects at the transmission.

My sc430 is giving a loud pop right over passenger's side from roof, whenever my car goes over a bump or rough road. I think it's where the front hardtop latches are. Only on the driver's side. It's a loud pop sound.
Does this have something to do with the latch, or latch motors, that closes the power roof ? Would it work if I tighten the retractable top by turning the rubber button in the center back of the car, the one that exposes during roof operation as outlined by other posters here?
I have a 1999 saab convertible with only 60,000 miles on it. Great car but recently starting leaking. water coming in across the front seat, dripping straight down on to seat and my head. Also wet in back seat. Cleaned out the well that runs around top. No apparent tears.

I can see the water dripping down the passenger side floor, from the area of the firewall. It is filling the channel in the floor, under the door sill.
The truck sits in my driveway, with the nose downhill. May be windshield, or AC/Heater drain tube could be plugged. Does the '99 F250 have a drain tube from the AC?
Last year I found out that the roof drainage system can get clogged over time. This result is water in places that you cant imagine. Its raining on the east coast and I see water in the passenger side wheel well, which means that the problem is back.

No scent to the clear fluid, temps all look good. Running fine. Where does the AC discharge go? Could AC be on (not on AC but set in blue zone on dial)? Reservoir looks ok but could e small volume of drips.

View 1 RepliesWhere I should start looking for the root cause of the following leak? My wife noticed that when it was raining water dripped off the handhold by the front passenger seat. The ceiling liner is dry, no evidence of water soaking into it. I am thinking windshield or door seal as there is no moon roof and the liner is dry but before I start tearing into it I want to see if there is even a chance I can fix it myself.
View 3 RepliesI got in very minor accident the other day and the glass part of the passenger mirror popped out and broke on the ground. I just got my replacement glass from Amazon (I think the brand is Fit System or something). The rear tab is broke on the new part and the glass piece isn't anywhere near factory quality.
Where I can purchase an OEM replacement online? Just looking for the glass part. Also - is there a trick to snapping it back on? For some reason I cant get the top tabs to snap into place, even with the OEM broken mirror (when I tried to put it back on.

I am concerned about a water puddle that forms under my Camry, I drive it then I park it the garage , and the next day there is a puddle of water, under the passenger side. I use the air condition. And was thinking that maybe it was the condensation from the air condensation. I keep check the antifreeze level , so its not that. I don't know of anything else it could be.
View 5 RepliesSo, the other day, I went outside and there was a puddle under the truck. It had been sitting for a couple of days, IIRC, so I thought it was strange. It rained since then and the driveway was dry one day later, so I didn't give it much more thought at the time. Then the puddle appeared again. Went out with a flashlight this evening and looked around. I remember there was moisture in a couple of spark plug holes when I replaced them. Some of it was oil, but one was definitely watery. So, I am not surprised that there is a leak somewhere.
But what I do find strange is the location of some of the puddles, and where it drips from. I guess since the motor slopes down as it goes back, maybe the leak is really at the front and it's just running down the head next to the intake to drip from the back of the motor? There is water next to the intake manifold there, to support that theory. But there is a puddle on top of the intake around the #1 injector. How does it get there? My pressure tester is one of the old ones that attached to the radiator neck, so I'll have to find another way to pressurize the system to look? It doesn't seem to match up to descriptions I've seen of the crossover tube or the heater/water pump tube.
