I've a 2008 Toyota Corolla ever since I bought it back in 2007. I don't have any problem with the seat belt warning before but recently for the past months the seat belt warning keeps beeping constantly, even when I'm wearing my seat belt. I fastened every belts in the car to make it stop but it just keep going. How to get it working properly?

View 13 RepliesEvery time I start my 1999 Ford Explorer It makes a loud beeping noise similar to seatbelt warning sound. Every 30 minutes or so it does it again as long as the vehicle stays running(even with all seatbelts fastened even if no one is sitting in the seat.

It's worked flawlessly, however the last few times I've started and put it in reverse, it starts beeping constantly although there is absolutely nothing back there. Having been on this forum for probably 3 years, I don't recall this system ever being discussed.
So, where is the sensor located? I looked all around the obvious places, like under the rear bumper, and don't see anything. Is it part of the camera
system?
Secondly, what could make it beep when there is nothing there? Yes, the tailgate is up, and there is nothing in the hitch that might trick it. I'm thinking
dirt on a senor.
The warning light on the dash is on that shows the seatbelt and airbag. What does tis mean as the book only says to take it to a dealer.

View 4 RepliesMy TREG beeps every time we unbuckle the seatbelt in park. Is there anyway to change this? Sometimes you have to sit with the AC on because it is really, really hot. Or you undo your belt to reach back to the kids. Actually, it seems like it beeps every time I do anything. Open the door, lift wait off of the front passenger seat, etc... Any hack to the computer system that can fix this?

View 7 RepliesI started the car one morning after it snowed. the red "BRAKE" light is constantly on and while the car is moving it beeps which is extremely annoying.. I have tried:
-Topping off brake fluid
- another ebrake sensor (under the center console)
- brake pads have plenty of meat on them
- brake light are working
I just bought a used Toyota Corolla 2009 LE. I found that the indicators for Low engine oil pressure warning, Charging system warning, and Malfunction/Check Engine are on when the engine switch at "On" and goes off after engine is started. Is this normal or something is wrong with the car?
View 2 RepliesMy seatbelt warning light and beeping comes on even after I've buckled up. Sometimes it's works fine at first and then will randomly come on while I'm driving. Other times it just doesn't recognize that I've buckled my seatbelt at all. I tried disabling the beeping as a temporary fix, but it didn't work, I'm assuming because it didn't recognize when I performed the necessary buckling up. Even if it did the blinking light would definitely bother me.

View 14 RepliesI just bought a ceritifed pre-owned 2010 RX 450h. I love it, but a couple of questions as I get to know the car.
1) The rain sensor seems to not work. I set the wipers to what on another car would be "intermittent" but the wipers never come on. Am I missing something, am I a dummy? Or should I just get the dealer to replace the sensor?
2) Any way to turn off the seatbelt warning chime?
Got the Airbag lamp on, so I checked the fault codes, it says that the resistance o the driver side seatbelt tensioner is to high. Is this just a oxided connection, a bad wire, or should I be prepared to change the tensioner-assembly in full?
View 7 RepliesI have a 2006 Corolla w/ 136K miles and a 2008 Versa w/ 81K. I'm looking to replace one of them, but am unsure which I should keep. The Corolla has been very reliable but is starting to need a lot of work (brakes/struts/etc.) and the Versa has been ok but overall has needed more maintenance.
Whichever one I keep I will probably drive until it's dead but I really don't know which I should stick with. My instinct tells me it should be the Corolla, but I don't want to keep having to sink money into a high milage vehicle. On the flip-side, I have never heard people speaking well of the Versa, and keeping it might end up costing me more and lasting a shorter time.
