I have a 2006 King Ranch and right tail and brake lights don't work. The bulb is good. The fuse diagram in the owners manual is not the fuse box I have, so I cannot id the correct fuse to see if its bad.

View 9 RepliesI found out last night that all 3 of my brake lights are out. However, my tail lights work, and my turn-signals work. So obviously its not a big wiring deal. I was looking for the brake switch but i don't know where its at because i looked underneath. What fuse is the brake lights cause my manual doesn't have it listed. I drive a 04 Elantra GLS.

View 14 RepliesI have a 2004 F150 XLT and the passenger side tail light doesn't work whatsoever. The light does work for hazards, turn signal, or when braking. The passenger front turn signal works, so does the front and the driver sides tail light. Only the 1 tail light doesn't work. I bought a new brake light bulb and it didnt't fix it, so i swapped the drivers and passengers bulbs out, and it still didn't work. I replaced the 10 amp fuse (#36) in the fuse box. What is causing the problem.
View 2 RepliesI have a 2006 F150 xlt 5.4 3v. I've owned it since Oct. 15'. In approximately Nov. I lost the rear right brake and blinker light, and then around Christmas I lost the rear left brake and blinker. I also have no rear hazards, but the inst cluster flashes at a normal rate when the flashers are engaged. All running lights work, and 3rd brake light works. Front blinkers work and all other electrical works. Have checked all fuses and bulbs with no solution.

My taillights, reverse lights and brake lights all stopped working! What the problem is. The fuses are fine and the bulbs are good too. How to fix this or what I should look for to try to fix it?
View 1 RepliesPurchased used 2006 and the left tail light does not work at times until I rotate the socket as if removing it. This happens frequently and then after about 3 weeks the bulb blows. I've confirmed the there is no socket terminal issue and no intermittent opens in the wiring to the socket. The buld internal glass blackens as if it is running too hot but the voltage measures slightly over 12V when I've measured it. The bulbs are rated at 13V. At this point the only thing I can think of is there must be an occasional high voltage spike that hits the left tail light but not the right tail light.
View 5 RepliesOkay, so all of a sudden my trailer tail/park lights don't work. Determined that relay wasn't working so replaced it. Wrong answer, still no lights. Further investigation revealed that relay ground was not grounded. Who would have thunk it? Anyway, the wiring diagram shows that the ground wire has a diode in it. Where it's located and where the ground, (orange) wire originates from?
View 3 RepliesMy reverse lights do not work and it is not due to the bulbs. Guy at autozone said it is the neutral safety switch. Does this sound correct? And I have done work on my truck myself, is this a difficult fix? I went ahead and bought the part, but can take it back if too hairy.
View 14 RepliesI have a 1990 F-350 7.3 lariat crew cab. The tail lights fail to work but all the turn signal and brake lights work. I changed the light switch located to the left of the steering wheel but that didn't solve the problem. all the fuses under the dash appear to be ok to. Is there another fuse for just the tail lights.
View 6 Repliesi have an 89 ford ranger custom and my driver side tail light works just fine but my passenger doesnt work when i mash the brake the passenger side brake light wont come on. the parking lights work, turn signals, and hazards work but the brake light. ive checked the wires and replaced the socket and still the same problem so either theres something in the wires that im missing or i dont know what else. any hints?
View 7 RepliesMy sons 2006 F350 brake lights and rear turn signals quit working. When the headlights are on, all the lights operate but the rear turn signals and brake lights do not nor do the emergency flashers. The front signals work but flash very rapidly. Although I'm not an auto electrician, I'm fairly mechanically inclined but the fact that the front signals work, the rear don't and all lights work as lights, just not as turn signals or brake lights.
View 4 RepliesNoticed when I press brake pedal brake lights does not work even the center one. Checked all fused in the car and the small ones under the hood. All fine. I have a long trip tomorrow. Where else i can look. Everything seems working. Reverse light is fine. Is that related to latest brake light switch recall? Cant think of anything else.
View 4 Repliesi got a 1986 chevy g20 conversion van for camping trips and the dash lights and tail lights don't work but the turn signal works and the brake lights work and the headlights work i put in a new fuse and they worked for about 5 minutes then quit working there did apper to be a little watter in one of the tail light bulbs if that works.
View 2 RepliesI just bought a 97 Dodge Ram 1500. The Tail lights work when I just have running lights on, but don't work when I pull the light switch out far enough for the headlights to come on. Also, and probably related, the dashboard and radio lights don't work at all. I replaced the switch assembly already and that didn't fix the problem (i didn't use the supplied wiring though, only the switch). The previous owner used it to pull his boat so the rear end may have been backed into the water. The brake and reverse lights.
View 3 RepliesIve got a '14 Pip, no new mods all my mods are atlas 6 months old. When I turn on my headlights at night and make sure the dimmer switch, by the fuel tank button, inside the cabin, is dimmed, the headlights work, the front parking lights work, the brake lights work ( WHEN I STEP ON THE PEDAL), but they don't turn on when I just have the parking lights on with out braking. So, to clarify, the parking lights (the two strip that are used as brake lights (led)) they don't turn on. what could it be? Some fuse? I made sure to cycle the column stalk switch a few times, and the dimmer switch a few times. Could removing and reattaching battery fix it? Should I take it to the dealer (~85k miles).
View 17 RepliesMy running/tail lights and my dashboard lights don't work. Every other light works though(low/high beams, reverse, break). I don't know much about cars but My neighbor just put in a new relay and the running lights worked fine for about a week. Then the dashboard lights started flickering on & off for a day or two & now I don't have dashboard or running lights at all.
