I have a 2006 F-350. I got a code p2623 ipr circuit open. I ordered a new one and currently waiting on it. I pulled the old one and the screen has been replaced already. How often do these valves go bad? Is there anything else I should check?
View 6 RepliesI have a 2006 f-350 6.0 and i went to fill up my truck with diesel. After that the truck did not start. Currently has the code p2285 - injector control pressure sensor circuit low. I tried disconnecting sensor, still no start.
I have the torque pro app and another 6.0 that I use for comparison. Check power at ficm 48 volt, flp 11.5v, FVP 11.5v. Hpop while cranking shows 1400 psi. removed oil filter and see low pressure oil ok, fills up reservoir. ipr at crank about 65%. fuel filter full of fuel.
Replaced the dummy plug on passenger side because originally hpop was very low psi 12. after replacement it went up to 1400 on cranking. What should I be looking at next, should I be removing ipr? should i be looking at crank sensor or cam sensor? Just installed 2 new batteries also because my dad kept cranking the truck until it died.
Checked to make sure fuel cut off relay not triggered, Ok. The truck has been having long cranks before it died. Also right now the injector cycling is 10 seconds long while on my other 6.0 it is about 4.
I have a 2002 F-350, 7.3 that is not charging. It has no power coming in on the big supply lead on the back of the alt. I traced the cable back, and it goes to intake heater solenoid. Cable is good, but intake and glow plug solenoids both have no power coming to them. I am guessing there is an open circuit between solenoids and starter. My question is, does the power come right from the starter, and is there circuit protection in there someplace?
View 2 RepliesOver the past weekend I had to replace all of the egr gaskets and seals, due to it failing smog. I removed all of the harnesses over the motor, intake manifold, turbo, and oil filter housing. I also replaced the oil/oil filter and also the fuel filters. The truck ran great before I decided to replace all of the seals. When I went to start the truck, it would just crank and not fire. One thing I noticed was that my wait to start light only stays on for a few seconds, where before it would stay on for a while. After cranking on it for a while I got a code P2623 for the ICP circuit open. I have tried unplugging the ICP sensor to see if it would start, but it just cranks over. The truck sounds like it wants to fire, but wont. Should I pull the ipr and ICP sensor?

I don't have any roof/clearance lights yet, I'm a little on the fence about drilling holes in my roof but it seems the truck should have them, especially being an F350.

View 1 RepliesMy truck was running fine, it's stock as far as I know. Shut it off, it sat and cooled off for a while. When I tried to crank it, it wouldn't start, threw 2 codes. P2285 and p 2623. I unplugged the icp sensoran tried to start, no start. Plugged it back in and it started fine for the rest of the work day ( I work out of it). Drove it the next day without any issues. Today went to start before work and no start with the same 2 codes. What should I check first? I don't have any monitor yet. Bought the truck a month ago as a work truck. It has 164000 miles.
View 4 RepliesI have a f350 2000 4x4 automatic 170.000 miles. Service light on and OD light flashing. I have code p1747 "EPC solenoid short circuit"
This code make that the engine runs slow without power and hard shifting. I change all the solenoid body and check all wiring.
Later using a voltmeter i separate EPC solenoid wiring and see that have 5 volt. If I don't accelerate more 2000rpm OD light is not flashing and truck works normal but slow.
When I accelerate more than 2000rpm OD light begin to flash and transmission fail more. I check that EPC wires mark about 0 volts when OD light is flashing. Transmission hydraulic system seems to be ok because oil is very red and clean. Maybe another sensor is making this failure....

I can operate the scanner but what these ranges should be. What might be causing the miss? This scan shows 951 rpm, I was idling along in 1st in traffic, but I have also felt the miss at 75-80 mph (about 2300 rpm) on the Interstate and at other times, with light loads in the 1500- 2000 range in town.
I recently picked up a 2005 f250 SD 5.4 4x4... I was having issues with sporadic shifting and wandering shifts while cruising around 100kph, scanned it and came up with p0721 OSS sensor circuit performance fault.
I checked the harness and all looks fine, now I attempted to remove the OSS at the rear of the tranny, got the 8mm bolt out however could not, for the life of me get the sensor out. I tried not to use pliers to twist the sensor or anything for fear of breaking the sensor off and having bits go into the transmission.
I have a new 2015 F350 XLT. For the life of me I cannot open the lid on the center arm rest. I have read the manual, and I can't open the lid. This is my 5th Super Duty with the last being a 2010. So you would think this would be a no brainer. I can pull on the handle and its not opening. Pry the damn thing open? Is there a hidden lock? Hidden treasure?
View 14 RepliesI have a new to me 05 F350 dually with 6.0. When I open the door with the key the alarm goes off and the truck won't start. How do I shut this off so I can get in the truck with the key. I can't just leave the door unlocked all the time. It has the key less entry, but I have not set new numbers yet, and if I give the keys to a valet, I don't want to give them the door code too.
View 14 RepliesAlright, so here's what I've got: 2002 Ford F-350 7.3L - Unmodified, Stock, no chip, no tuner, 130K miles, been run with off-road diesel most of its life as a farm truck.
Here's what it's doing: Serious misfire in cylinders 4 and 6. At idle, mild miss. Throttle from 0 to 50 percent, runs well. Throttle from 50 percent to 100 percent, heavy miss, chugging, white smoke out the exhaust.
Here's what we've done so far:
New UVC Harnesses with updated pigtails.
Cleaned Fuel Filter Mixing screens.
Cleaned out fuel tank.
Cleaned bowl.
Changed Fuel Filter.
Changed IDMs
Changed Crank Sensor.
Inspected injectors while running to see if oil is pumping (it is).
No improvement. Where to go from here. Pulled codes, and it says Cylinder #4 and #6 High to Low Side open. We don't know what to do at this point.
I have a 1999 F350 and the passenger side front door suddenly will not open with the inner handle but it will open if I roll down the window and open it from the outside. The inside seems like it is locked but the locks are all working fine and all the other doors are working just fine .....
View 2 RepliesI had a 05 f350 5.4 3v come into my shop with a CEL. Did the usual it had a p0307. So I did the usual again changed plug and coil plug cam out no prob they were done 15k ago. Test drove a few times and it was fine. Few days later customer brought back with same code p0307. thought maybe I got a bad plug or coil so I moved them to #6, misfire stays on #7. When I drive it local its fine when I go to pull on to highway and really put my foot in it CEL flashes (misfire) and it pings like crazy and loses all power. Scan it back at shop and still only p0307!!
