I have a 2007 6.0L 4x4 it has 225k on it. I just had it into the dealer this past week (which we just purchased end of June) they replaced back pressure sensor and #7 injector. Now when you get to about 70-75 on incline it is decelerating and hesitate and looses some of its power.

Just had new head studs put in new head gasket and egr delete 2 new injectors put in
View 3 RepliesI have a 2001 250 Super Duty. I am having an intermittent issue with the electrical system and transmission. I don't drive this vehicle very much so it sits for 7-14 days at a time.
Previously I had the od light flashing and had the transmission solenoid replaced. A few weeks ago I decided to drive it to the corner store. As I arrive home the od light starts flashing and the transmission starts shifting funny. I pull into my parking spot and turn the truck off. I sensed the shut off was weird so I tried to start the truck. NO POWER! None! I go back to the truck a few days later and it starts up without an issue.
Approx. 20 miles later it starts again. This time I have to jump the battery. I ran the truck and it drove without issue. Again a couple weeks later it starts in again with the light flashing and electrical dying. What it may be? I'm probably going to get rid of the truck as I can;t justify to myself to keep dumping money into it.
My husband and I bought a 09 f-250 with 58000 miles. It used to pull our travel trailer with no power issues. Now the rpms go up & the power goes down. It never gets hot nor any lights come on. It's been in the shop twice. The first time nothing was found. The second time we were told it was dirty fuel filters. The truck only has 70k miles...

Voltage is good...even ran a fresh circuit.
Ran new supply lines
But, can't seem to understand the continued drop in pressure. It usually takes about a day of driving to crater after a new pump/filter is installed.
It never dies, just loses power and drops the truck to an idle. Funny thing...if I shut the truck off and turn it right back on...full power for a short period!
The truck is used on a ranch that has plenty of rough roads...thought inertia switch maybe but i believe that would stop fuel completely right?
I am totally stumped and so is the mechanic.
2004 F350 single rear wheel with 8" suspension (springs) lift and 37" tires all put on in 2005. Having low speed vibration 15-20 mph on accel and decel. Recently put on thick aluminum rear dif cover and vibration seems to have come since that install. Used Mobile synthetic fluid and 4 oz of Motorcraft antifriction additive and 4 oz of off brand. The Mobile fluid and antifriction have been in my barn for over 5 years in the winter and summer. I just changed the carrier bearing and all U-joints look good. Any chance the fluid and antifriction additive could be causing this? Truck has 66k miles.
View 6 RepliesI have a 2011 f250 with the 6.7l diesel. Overall it's been fabulous. Descent mileage, and never ending power. The service engine soon light came on the other day. I have checked the fuel and dropped some additive in the tank. Have also checked the air filter which is good. There is a hesitation when giving it throttle. Then it shoots like a rocket.
View 6 RepliesOn my 2006 F-250 truck, the speedometer is acting funky. It's like it stuck on the deceleration and now at a complete stop or idle it shows a speed of anywhere from 40-60 mph. It does change and go up and down, as I drive but it's now just off by 30-60 mph. Is this an electronic setting/calibration that one can do?

View 3 RepliesI bought my 2015 in August of last year with 8K miles and here I sit at the dealership with 15K for the second time in 4 days.
Truck loses gauges while driving and throws all the warnings (tire pressure, temp, hill descent, and on and on). If I turn it off it won't start. I disconnected the battery first time it happened, about a month ago, and it restarted. Thursday it wouldn't start until the tow truck driver got it off the flatbed at the service center (go figure). This time I got it on video and parked it at the service center myself. I showed the foreman the video.
The service advisor told me it needed a software update last Friday when I picked it up, which is another way of saying they had no idea and didn't put much thought into it since it was running when they had it. The notes said they did a diagnostic, found no codes, and "drove it on a bumpy road" with no issues. Really?
This is extremely frustrating! I hope they actually do something this time. The damn thing started again before I left it with them!
Checking out my 2007 gasser this weekend an found that my third brake light does not work....no power to the socket. The cargo lights on either side of it in the same assembly work fine so I believe the ground to be intact. My question is does this light have it's own fuse? if not where should I start looking for the solution to my problem?

View 7 RepliesI replaced the icp in a 2007 ford 6.0 and now it will not crank. I can unplug the icp and it will start, I can also put the old icp in andit will start. The connection has no oil on it and it seems to fit tight too. Is there any thing else I need to try?
View 6 Replies2007 F-350 4X4 King Ranch... I have the 6.0 diesel. I am on the road to Houston, Tilden and San Antonio TX, and I am noticing a whistle on acceleration. I can change the tone by how hard I push down on the accelerator. I thought it was a radio issue and turned the radio off and got no change. Turned the a/c off, no change. Down hill or coasting, nothing.

View 7 RepliesI'm new to the 6.0 fords but have bought 1 its already been bullet proofed. I've put all 8 injectors in because cylinder 3 was bad. this is my issue now you can start the truck fires right up run for 30sec to 1 min and shuts of like you turn the key off starts right back with no issues and runs fine the rest of the time until you shut it off again and there are no codes. What it could be ? I have already replaced the ipr, icp, cam and crank sensors, egr o rings and the blue spring upgrade and still does it...
View 11 RepliesOn my 2007 f350 when I hit my brakes it pulsates... So I put new rotors and brakes up front.. The pins are good and the calibers are good... put it all back together and still the same thing... the slower you go the slower the pulsating gets... And I can actually feel the pedal move in and out when it does it... I'm lost....
