I just picked up my new 2011 last night. Noticed today it looks like the corner of the rear bumper on the passenger side is not flush with the car and seems loose. Its not to noticeable but when compared with the driver side there is definitely a difference.

1) Passenger seat-heating doesn't work. Is this a common issue? is there an easy fix for it? I searched but didn't come up with anything. Is there a place I can check the voltage output at?
2) The bumper alignment is off, way off. I think the previous owner hit something :/ my rear bumper is totally mis aligned. Is this an easy fix? can I just take it off and re-align it myself? Or am I going to have to buy new front and rear bumpers?
3) When I drive I have a wur wur wur like described in the other recent post. I'm not sure whether the wheels are off-balance or off-round; however I'm taking the car to belle tire soon to find out.
Just want to get the car back to 100% the previous owner didn't treat her well at all. When I got the car there was so little power-steering fluid it wasn't even reaching the dip-stick and the coolant anti-freeze level was below minimum.
Just got the 2010 and put 100 miles on it and found the front bumper loose on the passenger side. Difficult to see but it looked loose right by the headlight housing, a little pull and it popped up. Looked like the fastener was never there.
View 14 RepliesThe front of the rear bumper on the driver's side is loose from the main body. The clip on the bumper is ripped from where it tore. I've gone ahead and bought the clips and everything from Lexus near me, but need to know the best epoxy or glue to reconnect the clip area on the bumper so I can apply the clips.
Is the bumper on that spot (the back side of it, not the painted exterior, if that makes sense) fiberglass.
This thing drives me nuts.

I push it back into place, (it snaps into place) but i again noticed today after my commute home it had slightly popped out again. What does this cover and has any experience of it popping out?
View 14 RepliesMy 2013 has developed a rattle. The rear window visor (outside) on passenger side is loose - or loosening up... and rattles a lot when driving, which is very annoying.... Took a quick look to see how this thing is held into place, not quite sure what's best way to take it apart...
View 1 RepliesI noticed today when I was washing the car that the rear bumper feels loose to me compared to other cars... If I grab the bottom the bumper, just aft of the rear wheel, there can be significant movements of the bumper, and its the same on both sides... I don't see any loose screws.
Tried it with other model cars, the movement range from very small to nonexistent...not sure if it's just my vehicle or if they are all like this by design(or the lack of). The top of the bumper feels rigid enough. Now I kinda want to know if this looseness is causing my bumper to be flapping in the wind at highway speed...
2013 Prius IV.... I just noticed that my right side rear bumper cover has a 1/4 inch gap between the bumper and the quarter panel. I think it's from me sitting on the bumper while tying up my shoes or something. When I apply downward pressure on the rear bumper, the gap widens. The left side is tighter, but does gap out when downward pressure is applied. In any case, the gap is annoying.

View 1 RepliesSo I just installed brand new coilovers and I quickly noticed a this problem. On the passenger side, when the wheel is lifted, I can feel a little bit of movement from the coilover and it really seems like it is the top bushing that is moving. I can see the metal top plate moving a little also. Everything is we tighten andI did the same thing as the driver's side but only this one does this. When the car is on the ground I can feel there is a bit of play in the wheel if I bang on it with my hand. Also, I know the gap on the top plates is normal, specially when lowered but again the passenger side looks weird and is much higher then the other side. What I'm I missing here ? Both side top bushing and bearing are also brand new.
View 14 RepliesSo I recently bought an '09 Elantra for 52K miles. Car's a beauty except the front bumper cover is loose under the headlight on the driver side(got it that way). The first two pics are from the driver side whereas the third shows it in comparison to the passenger (which is totally fine). The gap seems to be getting bigger ever so slightly. What would be the cheapest and easiest fix?
View 1 RepliesI have a mkvi gti with all stock suspension except rear sway bar. And I'm right about to order driver gear springs. But have a question about suspension. My rear driver side of the car sits about half inch lower then then rear passenger side on a flat ground. Would this be caused by springs? Or struts? Or what. Planning on ordering the driver gear springs but what the real problem is. I want the driver gear so I'm a bit lowered but not crazy low since the roads in my home town are awful and my street I have to do figure 8's all the way down it to not hit a pot hole.

View 1 RepliesI just noticed on my front passenger door, when I pull the handle, the top of the door is rubbing against the rubber. It seems to be shifted a little down, especially on the top left corner of the door. What's going on with it. Doesn't open as smooth as the door once did.
View 6 RepliesAfter a quick search i came up with it possibly being the endlinks, but my question is how do i tell if they are bad and if its the upper or lower link? after getting under the car neither were loose or anything and the bushings had slight cracks in the rubber it didnt look too bad though. anything else i should be looking for?
View 4 RepliesTo summarize. I no longer get any fault codes but the passenger side DRL is not functioning and my rear fog is stuck on. I do not have a euro switch with the fog option. I set byte 18 to 0x04.
The passenger LED running strip functions with the headlights on though. For DRL function it turns on right after releasing the parking brake but shuts off a second later.
I think I'm becoming an automotive hypochondriac ever since I started owning this car...I was sitting at a light the other day and all of sudden I heard a faint sound coming from what seemed to be the passenger side rear of the car. It sounded like a ticking clock or a heart beat...it was some what faint, but still noticeable. It is intermittent though and has no particulars when it happens and seems to go away when I begin to drive off... Fuel pump? Gremlins?
View 3 RepliesHad the plastic under belly off my car to install the HPA puck, and I noticed a coating of oil on the oil pan around the rear passenger side as well as at the drain plug. The car is getting a new pan and plug under warranty, just wanted to give everyone a heads up. My car is lowered, but i have never bottomed it out. As long as your are under warranty its worth taking a look at. You might as well get the passat subframe bolts to get rid of the subframe clunking at the same time.
