I have the lights all taken apart but I can't really see how they would come out.. Are they pressed in? Screwed in?

Golf/GTI VI :: Airbag Light Went On After Removing Headlight Switch
I suppose it could be unrelated but yesterday i was showing my coworker how easy it was to remove the headlight switch on my 2010 golf tdi (he has an a3). I took it out of the slot, unplugged it, plugged it back in, and slid it back into place. im sure i didnt yank on the wiring harness but who knows. I went to turn on my car and now i have an airbag fault showing up for the driver seat position sensor. I looked under the seat and everything is still plugged in, along with in the little access panel where the wiring goes.

So I'm swapping in a Black headliner for a friend and I've had no trouble with mine in the past, but his car has the A and B pillar airbags. I have the Positive Cable disconnected from the battery, how should I go about it.

Golf IV / Jetta IV :: Headlight Switch Is On / Off
So my headlight switch is literally On/Off. I disabled the DRL by folding down the pin inside. But I am replacing my headlights with a custom projector housing with HID lows, halogen highs, LED Fogs, and CCFL halos, so I'd like the ability to turn on just parking lights or just the fog lights to show off the Halos etc. If I pick up a Bora Switch that has these features, will I have to re-wire/run through fuse box, etc.

I have an 01gti glx and my headlights are not working when i turn my headlight switch on. They work just fine when i release the ebrake just not working with the switch! I checked the fuses under the dash and all were good.

I replaced some TYC OEM headlights on my car with stock OEM Hella headlights and cleaned up the lenses really nice.
Once installed, I went to adjust the headlights to find out that the passenger outer adjustment just spins.
This is the one in the photo:
I am not too sure if I can fix this. The little wheel doesn't seem like it can be removed and it has some back and forth play on it.
Need to successfully repaired headlight adjustment?
Santa Fe (CM - 2007-12) :: Headlight Delay Turning Off After Removing Key From Ignition
I have a 2010 Santa Fe Limited. When I first bought it, I'm pretty sure the headlights would delay turning off for a few seconds after removing the ignition key. Now they turn off as soon as the ignition key is turned off. Is that normal? I can find nothing in the User Manual and the dealer does not seem to know how it works.

Headlight bulbs. So I am looking to replace my bulbs because mine don't seem to have that great of light output. I am not sure if it is the actual headlight or if it is just the bulbs? Is it possible to just replace the bulbs and get better light output? I am not sure of the brand of headlights I have but I am pretty sure they are some cheap aftermarket ebay headlights. I want to replace the headlights in the future but for now I was wondering if I can get away with just replacing the bulbs. When selecting the bulbs, are they all pretty much universal or do I have to buy specifically for the type of headlights I have?

Well, I took the rear brakes apart without paying close enough attention. My problem began when I noticed the rear brake self adjusters' forks were not symmetrical. Although both have a deep slot and a shallower 'shoulder' between the 2 tines of the fork, they are different depths and the 'tines' are different lengths, so there are four ways to reassemble them: both deep slots positioned toward the dust shield, both deep slots positioned away from the dust shield, deep slot on the starwheel end positioned toward the dust shield with the deep slot on the other end positioned away from the dust shield, or deep slot on the starwheel end positioned away from the dust shield with the deep slot on the other end positioned toward the dust shield. I've seen photos with the adjusters in place, but the slot positions are not clear. I've seen photos of the adjusters off, but no indications of how they fit on the shoes. Can't find a diagram or instructions anywhere.

I have looked at the DIY for a Golf and those make it seem easy but on the R32 there is a metal piece running along the roof which doesn't allow you to access the wiring for the antenna base to disconnect the wires. Driving to MA from PA, stopped for a meal, got back in car & got msg on info panel that R front headlight was not functioning. It was raining hard, but still daylight in late afternoon. Checked other lights & all seemed ok - running light working. Back in car - another 175 miles to go & it became evident R turn signal wasn't working. Did get to MA early evening, checked lights again & found that brake lights weren't working & more. VW dealer in town checked it out next day & said 30 amp fuse for lighting was melted w/fuse block, which they removed & replaced. Turns out I'm not the first person - VW instantly said they'd refund the $531 it cost, which tells me they're aware it's a fault of theirs. I'm wondering - what caused this? Google tells me they've had probs with this with Tiguans & a bunch of recalls. What's to stop it from happening again? What would have caused the fuse to melt in the first place? My husband has a 2013 Jetta TDI. Does that mean his car is at risk?
