Both main headlights stopped working at the same time. The low beams work, the high beams work, but nothing from the outer headlights. I swapped out the Euroswitch, with the Oem and still no luck.

View 4 RepliesSo I have MFD display errors for "main beam not working" on both sides but both of my headlights, lows and highs both work fine. this has been like this for a few months now. I can clear the codes with my VAGCOM and after a day or two they come right back. I do have LED license plate lights but for at least a year i only got the error code on startup for the plate lights but never headlights. A little confused as to what is tripping the headlight codes

View 2 RepliesA few days ago I was driving around. I get back in my car and when i turn it on no air blows and the radiator fans aren't working at all. My car hasn't overheated but have stopped driving until I can figure the issue out. I have since replaced the fuse box on top of the battery to no avail. I was thinking that it could possibly be the fan control module but in all the posts I am reading not one says that theirs don't work, they just keep running. So is there something else i should be looking at?

View 3 RepliesMy headlights worked on Tuesday. Wednesday night driving home I put my headlights on and neither is working. My brake lights, directional and highbeams work. The only thing that doesn't is the headlights.
I replaced both headlights and still not working. I purchase fuses 15A and switch the fuses which were blown and it resulted in my horn going off. I had someone check with a gauge and there is power in the light socket. We tried to replace the fuse again and the horn went off. We removed the fuse for the horn and replaced the fuses for the headlights and the horn still went off even though the fuse was missing.
The mechanic, checked my fuse box and wires around it and was not able to determine the issue.
I have a 2002 Camry. The low beam headlights stopped working last night. All the other lights work. High beam, driving lights, marker/park lights. I checked all the fuses. I changed the headlight relay. Still nothing. Could it be the headlight switch on the steering column? Trying to do more research before I replace it.
View 2 RepliesMy buddys mk4 GLi headlights and signals just stopped working if he holds the stalk in position the brights will come on but that's it. The car is a 2005 GLi with a euro switch, Were going to replace the switch in a little bit, as of now all fuses seem fine.
View 10 Replies I was having a problem where my headlights were turning off every time I would turn my directional signals on (2004 F150). Started out that it was mainly during left turns, but recently it affected right turns as well. Did a bit of google research as well as asking a mechanic to take a look at it while he was repairing something else, and all signs seemed to point to a bad multifunction switch.
So I replaced the mfs, and now my headlights don't work at all. The high beams work when I flash them, but not when I click them on fully. The parking lights work as well as the directionals. Took the truck into Ford and they are saying the headlight switch is bad. Does this sound right? After blowing $100+ on a mfs I'd hate to drop on a headlight switch only to find that it too, doesn't fix the problem. Not to mention NOBODY around here seems to carry the switch in stock. I checked the 2 fuses for the headlights and they looked fine.
I took the car in for 10,000 service. Drove it home and discovered I lost headlights, taillights and instrument lights. Checked interior driver side fuse box and all are good.
View 1 RepliesI have a 2006 Buick LaCrosse. The low beam headlights have stopped working. I thought that maybe the bulbs needed changed (since I usually have to change them every 6 months) but after changing one with a brand new bulb, it still doesn't work. The "old" bulb looks ok. The fuses are also good (I checked them with a multimeter.) The only thing that I see in my shop manual is something about the ambient light sensor. If this has gone bad, would that cause the low beams to not work? The high beams work fine. The low beams will not work with the headlight switch in the "auto" or "on" position. I don't see any DRL relay or fuse in this car.
View 17 RepliesLow beams don't work. The fuses are fine (under the dash, and in the engine compartment) and the bulbs look good. The fact that both went out at the same time has me wondering. One post on this forum for something not related mentioned a headlight relay behind the fuse panel?

From what I read and observe, the same bulbs serve both high and low beams on 2004 Odyssey. In other words, there are no separate low- and high-beam bulbs. What the problem might be? And is it fairly easy to fix myself?
View 13 RepliesI bought my Prius in November 2010. I replaced my headlights about three months ago when the right one went out. It went out again a few days ago. Then suddenly the diver side went out 2 days later. I also noticed that the right side parking light is out. The only lights that work are the high beams. I did check the fuses.

The other day I was driving with the air on high, Since the van is rather old, the compressor is quite loud. All at once the blower and the compressor stopped working at the same time. now I have no heat, defroster, vent plus when I slide the selector to AC. the compressor does not kick on.
View 4 RepliesWell a few days ago I pulled up to a gas station on my way to work for some coffee and since I leave for work before 6:30 AM my headlights were on. Well only the running lights were working. Well I shrug it off and later that night I come to the realization that both headlights weren't working. I tried the high beams and they do work. I also pulled both bulbs and both the filaments on each bulb seemed to be intact. What could cause this? I checked fuses 9 and 11 under the hood and they were both fine. I'm kinda at a loss right now.
View 9 RepliesI have a 2007 with 68k miles, and both the power outlet under the radio area-passenger side and the one in the console just stopped working (I use them to power my GPS and to charge my iPhone and iPad). From poking around this site, I think this could be because of blown fuses, but it seems strange that both fuses would go at the same time.

View 14 RepliesTurned off my DRL's with the key/turn signal. The dash lights are great, see everything better, esp during the day with my shades on.
I know there is a sensor, I think near the MFI.
I had a new windshield installed and the first time it rained, my auto unlock,the tire pressure monitor and the auto headlights stopped working. The dealer said that the fuse box got wet. I have since fixed the leak but can't find a fuse or reset any where.
