Lexus GX 2010+ :: Nav Screen Frozen Twice

Have had the GX460 one day 100 miles on it and the nav screen has frozen twice. Had to pull over turn off then turn back on the car.

I just got an 02 SC430 and I am going through a few things. The Nav screen works fine but is frozen in the rear tilt position. I would be okay if it were frozen all the way forward???

A mechanic at the Lexus dealer showed me how to reset (remove) the oil change warning message on the gps screen. It has something to do with pushing the A/B odometer buttons when the engine is not running. Unfortunately I did not write it down nor do I remember it.

I keep seeing photos of the nav screen like the one attached. I would like to have the map on one side and audio on the other as shown but after several trips through the manual, I am stumped as to how get it like this. I know the nav screen was changed on the 2014 and mine is a 2013 so that might be the problem.

I've been trying to change the opening image on the NAV from the Lexus to logo to a custom one but I had no luck, what I have done so far
New USB Fat 32 and fat 16
created a folder (Case Sensitive) : StartupImage
put couple of pictures (4 or 5) in it
2 of them less than 32 characters
2 of them exactly 32 characters (not counting extension)
saved as JPEG and JPG
files less than 5 mb each
and still no luck ,, it says could not find any pictures

Lexus LS 2007+ :: 2010 - Nav Screen Shows Dot For Roads
My navigation system changed on my 2010 LS460. Suddenly I have dots showing the roads I have traveled along whether I am using the navigation system or not. Also, when I input an address and it gives me 3 options (Quick, Alternate etc) the 3 options are greyed out and it will only go to Quick.

So my drivers side wiper is leaving 3 distinct lines across the screen. It sort of looks like something is being dragged across the screen in the rain even though the wipers are clean.
Like this (except only 3 lines):
Anyway, I changed the wiper refill on the driver's side regardless but it still does the same thing. What it could be? Its not the refills as they are brand new.
Another thing - I used RainX and the wipers have removed it where the 3 lines are (which is why they are showing up as lines).
The 3 lines are exactly where the clips for the OEM plastic housing is which hold the rubber refill.

I purchased a CPO 2013 RX350 recently and just noticed that it has some scratches in the navigation screen (only seen in certain conditions when black and not under power). I am scared to try any compound on it.

I test drove a 2013 RX450h this morning and almost decided to purchase it. The one problem I experienced was a dark area, about 1/3 of the nav screen on the driver's side with my sunglasses on. Taking the glasses off eliminated the problem. I tried a different pair of sunglasses and was able to duplicate the dark area. I am assuming this problem is caused by polarized lenses. I do not have the problem with my 2010 LS nor the 2013 GS350 I also tested.

When we start the car, it goes to the Nav screen and the screen freezes up. We cannot do anything on the touch screen or even stop / start the radio using the button. I've had my 2015 GX 460 since April 18th. Since I've had it the navigation screen has frozen on me 5 times with 830 miles on it.
Every time it froze on me all the center console buttons will not work. The Audio, Nav, Climate & Home button's DO NOT WORK! Also the buttons on the steering wheels won't work as well. The only time I can get the navigation to unfreeze is by shutting off the car.
The 5th time it froze I held down the "Power/Vol" button down and the navigation screen turn black and restarted itself while the vehicle was in motion.
