I noticed lately that my ls is barely blowing air through the vent. I can hear the climate operating but there is barely any air coming out.
Tried to replace the air filter to no avail. Car in the vid run on electric mode but when I'm driving it's the same thing.
I just bought a 2008 LS600 Obsidian with Exec package. Happy with the car except for some steering vibration at low speeds when turning. Took it to Newport Lexus...they say..."normal for an AWD LS600".

For some reason I got in the car today and I turn on my car and turn on my AC unit on, the driver side ac vent was blowing warm-cold air while the passenger side was blowing nice cold air. I thought it was my fuse, so I disconnect both AC fuse for a hour and reconnected back on and noting change.
View 2 RepliesI have a 2007 Prius. I turned on the AC for the first time this spring last week and the air blowing out of the vent was ambient temperature. When I looked through the sight glass with the AC running, it looks like there's fluid in there, but it's not moving anywhere and the evaporator pipe did not feel cool. I also replaced the 12 V battery a few months ago, with an optima yellow top battery.
What's wrong with the AC? Will a recharge do it fix this, or did I mess something up with the battery. There were a lot of warnings about "resetting" the system after you have the 12V out, but I didn't seem to have any problems that were described as symptomatic of needing a reset.
I have a 2004 GX470. Now that the weather has dropped I have noticed that my heater is taking a long time to warm up all it does is blow cold air out of the vent. Subsequently I have started to notice that they car will start to overheat. It will never get to the point where it will hit the red but it will go up and then come back down to mid range. There doesn't seem to be anything else wrong with the car, it idles fine, starts fine etc. Could these two issues be related?
View 14 RepliesSo the story goes that one day my 2013 RX350 stop blowing heat from the air vent. I took my car in the dealer to have to take a look. First of all, it took them a WHOLE week to diagnosis the problem, second of all, a consultant told me that he FOUND a pen inside the heater box that caused the gear shaft to break, which is used to control the heater doors...
What is he talking about? More importantly, he's saying I "accidentally dropped a pen" from the passenger side compartment storage and it somehow caused the heater door broke?
So last couple days over the 4th, the heat was over 95.
AC Blowing out of the vent is cold but the rear seats passenger feels warm.
Even with the blower on the higher and temp on the lowest 65 (or lowest setting).
I put my hand towards the rear seat and I feel warm air. Near the vents are cool but its like the AC can't keep up with the heat ?

I just purchase 09 LS460 41k miles AWD. I was returning from a nice highway ride had driven about an hour doing an average around 80 getting 23.3MPH. As I was arriving home I stop at the store when i was leaving the store I turned right in front of traffic hit the accelerator and the car would barely move I released hit the gas again gunned it no power and the car gradually got up to speed 35MPH, So i went down the street a little came to a stop made a hard right and gunned it and my moped would get up to speed faster than the car would.
View 14 RepliesI took my first road trip with my family in our new LS460L up through Donner's Pass and into Reno. This car just gobbles up miles. But what I did notice is that going through the mountain pass, the car barely hiccups through the curves and hills. Before you know it, you're pulling lateral g's.
The other thing I notice is that it's really easy to get comfortable in this car. It's just pure smooth silk. Makes me want to go into a trance. I'm not talking about the crap that BMW drivers throw at Lexus cars about detachment etc. Personally I love the smoothness.
On my 2003 GX 470 w/ 135,000 I have an issue that I can't figure out how to resolve.
The driver side lets out hot heat and the passenger side lets out cold air. I have the dual climate control and both sides are at MAX HEAT with the blower on HIGH. I have 2 vents for each the passenger and the driver.
The left side of steering wheel vent is allowing max heat. the right side of steering wheel vent lets out warm air. Not as hot as left side but warm. On the passenger side, its only letting out cold air and gets colder if I lower the temp on the climate control for right side.
Engine coolant is full, no lights on dash. Blower motor sounds like its working fine.
Why the outside air is coming in even though circular is on?
View 2 Replies2005 santa fe a/c not working. Started out barely blowing out cool air. it was cool but we were still hot in car... kept adding freon but it barely worked. One day we heard a strange winding noise and have had no a/c at all since then. Don't want to buy a whole new compressor if it could just be a switch or something.. I see there are so many a/c parts. Is there any way to tell if we need a new compressor ?
View 1 RepliesMy 06 F250 crew with the 6.0 starting blowing the cold AC out the defrost vent and will not switch to the dash vents. It's goning to hit 108 today and stay around 105 for the rest of the week.
View 14 RepliesI only found this problem walking through the garage this week and the car fan was blowing. Car hadn't been ran for several days. Started the car and couldn't turn off the blower. Turned off the car, turned it back on and the blower was still on. I was then able to turn it off (and back on and back off). Left it off and turned off the car. Turned it back on and the fan was off. I was able to turn it on and off again. Drove the car a couple of times until yesterday when I noticed the same problem. I guess in disgust I ignored it... until this morning when the car battery was dead.
Going after the fuse link tonight, any other insight into another relay or such that is a simple fix.
I have a 2011 Hyundai Sonata 2.0 Turbo Limited and the A/C seems to only be blowing cold air from passenger vents, and on driver side "warm/ hot ". What steps or what i can do to get this fixed.
View 3 RepliesI bought a white 2015 Sonata GLS with 55000 kms on it. Car works fine but really great on gas in city with AC ( 11-12 liters/100 kms ).
And my main problem is my AC/heater vents. Its nice cool day out and I wanna roll my windows up and use outdoor air (with AC off and heating knob on cool - Blue side) but still blow warmer air (the more I turn the temp knob to less cool side more warm air comes out). I went to dealership and complaint about it but they said can't duplicate problem. And I replaced cabin air filter too, but still same problem.
I don't have automatic temperature climate control option, so its all manual, red and blue setting for heat and cold. I complaint them may be my heater stuck on heating but no action taken from them..
I have 08 460 I got in today and turn on the air and it blows hot. Made sure the AC button was in and it was. So I left car running had someone push the AC button and the compressor doesn't turn!
View 6 RepliesI have only 3 days with my new Treg and I cannot make the A/C to stop blowing cool air off the upper vent into the windshield. So the cold air makes condensate water on the outside and I have to use the wipers to wipre it out, appearing again in few seconds. The A/C settings are either AUTO at 70F or manual and making sure the air is directed to the front.

However, I notice that even if it's slightly warm outside, and I have my cabin temp set at a higher temperature than outside, the vent blows cooler air.
For example, the other day it was 65F outside. Since it was warmer than usual, I turned down the cabin temperature to 65F as well. It was nice and cool, but a little TOO cold. So I turned it up to 70F. It was still blowing cold air. I had to turn it up to 72F before it was warm enough to feel comfortable.
I have a 1986 Monte Carlo SS with 305 HO engine. Recently when driving along suddenly I have hot air blowing out of the vents, then in a few minutes it goes back to the cool air. This happens whether it is set to vent or air conditioner. How can I fix it??
