I hear a bit of a squeaking noise. Very minimal. Coming from back when I'm on rough roads. Is that normal. Sounds like it might be from coilover or somewhere in the back.

There's seems to be a lot "road noise" that's transmitted back into the cabin, like driving over expansion joints on blacktop or rough road surface, is this normal?
I drove a 2000 RX300 for 100,000 miles and don't remember it being this noisy. Interior noise is great and quiet.
I have an RX 450H and noticed that there is a squeaking sound coming from the dashboard. I looked at other posts where people were experiencing similar issues and noticed one post where someone had a GS 450H and fixed this issue by adding felt between the dashboard and the windscreen.
I would like to know whether this method works 100% and whether I can apply this method to the RX 450H. The noise becomes worse when it is cold and especially when the car is being driven over rough road surfaces and speed bumps.
I noticed when driving on a rough surface/road (gravel, snowy road with sand) the there is a considerable amount of noise coming inside the cabin on the rear end especially.
When I was doing a quick wash today I just realized the sound is coming from the wheel base. On the rear and front end there is a plastic covering the wheel base. Sound proofing / undercoating wheel base.
I am feeling disappointed just came out of a lemon law suit with a kia optima I bought two years ago. I figured we'll I should buy a better brand this time which my brother recommended cause I was going to buy another Infiniti I always had good things with those cars. But the last 2 nights I have been hearing a squeaking noise in my rear end of my brand new IS 350 F Sport. Only in sport plus mode. I was driving home from work at 2 am and driving through a canyon road cause I want to see how this car does as soon as the road got a little bumpy I was hearing a squeaking noise come out of the rear of the car. Then I get home and I hear it going over my speed bumps in my complex of my condos. So I think we'll that's odd. I take it out of sport plus mode and back to eco and drive around the complex again and it goes away. Remind you I have 484 miles on the car.
View 3 RepliesSometimes when driving I hear a light squeaking sound coming from the front wheel area. When i drive slow, it is a slow squeak, and when I go fast, the squeaking speeds up. I am thinking about spraying some wd-40 or silicone lubricant behind the wheel to lubricate the area to see if it solves my problem. I will be sure not to get any near the brake area but my question is, does spray wd-40 under the chassis or around the control arm area to stop those annoying squeaking sounds?
View 6 RepliesRecently (last three months really), I've been noticing an oscillating squeaking noise coming from the passenger side of the dashboard on my '07 LS460. I've troubleshot the problem and have it isolated to coming on only when the A/C is turned on (recirculated or outside air- doesn't matter). When the A/C is off, the sound goes away.
No other squeaking noises at all coming from anywhere else on the car.
I have a sneaking suspicion it's related to the tensioner belt connected to the Air Conditioner, but I'm honestly not sure at all.
Might this be a more relatively simple belt issue? A/C is running pretty much all the time when the car is on- wouldn't be surprised at all if we've simply worn the belt through.
I found this link outlining a similar problem, but again- I'm not entirely sure I want to go the route of the full tensioner assembly replacement if it's likely just a belt: [URL] ....
Not sure if this was already posted but I did a search and nothing came up. I have a HORRIBLE screeching, squeaking noise coming from my back seats. It's like nails on a chalkboard. Anyway, I feel like it's coming from the right passenger back seat, but I don't know the exact spot. It's so bad I have to turn the music up so I can't hear it. It happens especially when I drive over bumps. I folded the seat down and sprayed the metal part with WD-40 where the bottom of the seat connects to the back of the seat, but I don't think this is the problem area.
View 27 RepliesI just got a 2007 Prius and using it mostly on a dirt/rough road. My problem is that there is a metal cranking noise coming from under car and trunk. This is nit happened when i drive on a good road.
I already asked the mechanic to check sway bar, shocks, struts, and brake. They said everything is okay except the front left strut boots which is already worn out. But the strut itself is still in good condition.
I'm OK everything except the noise. Already replaced new tires but it doesn't work....
I just picked up a 05' F450 Super-Duty it had the rear seat removed and the rear wall, under the window is bare metal. I have all kinds of road noise and dust coming in through the two vents on the back wall. How to fix this?

View 3 RepliesI have a 2012 Santa fe SE that with 22k miles on it. I have developed an annoying rattle in the back driver side door. I have gone around all of the doors with a screwdriver and tightened up everything but this rattle persists when driving on moderately rough roads. As odd as it seems I believe it also occurs more frequently on smooth roads when going around a left curve.
View 10 RepliesI can be driving down the road and "blam", the "check parking assist" comes on my nav screen. This message screen comes on and goes off all the time. It comes on when I am not around anything close. I had the parking assist sensors checked and every thing checked out OK. Could this a an electrical problem? If it becomes irritating, I just turn the parking assist off.
View 3 RepliesJust picked up '14 350 f-sport and I notice a lot of road noise after 100 miles, have about 150 miles on it now and it sounds like the front wheel bearings or maybe the tires? sounds like a rumbling coming from the front. I don't recall hearing it on the test ride, not sure if its normal or not.

Also, I want to change my rear/front turn signals to white is there a bulb for the GS 350 that does not hyper flash? I purchased a led bulb and it hyper flashes also bought a led decoder but does no good still hyper flashes when I turn the blinker on!
I have a squeaking noise coming from my rear driver side tire. I changed my brake pads and one was missing. All it had on there is what looks like a shim. ( pics below )
After finishing the job I drove my car and the noise continues. It's mainly when I'm in reverse. Has any one else had this problem? My car is at 50k miles.

View 3 RepliesWhen I apply the brakes on and off while in park, I hear a "fluttering squeaking" noise. I examined the brake pads and calipers, and everything seems to be fine. I greased up all the brake hardware and no luck.
Also, I have a popping noise while making turns while I am not braking. I really doubt there is any connection with the brakes? I recently went testing in a parking lot, and while slightly turning from left to right I noticed the popping constantly. Keep in mind no brakes were applied.
Last year the dealer replaced the brake actuator and all arms were replaced. BTW, I am past my extended 100K warranty!!
Looking for a fix for the annoying squeaking noise often happening when depressing the brake pedal?
Dealer "bled" the brake actuator...did not work, said I need new actuators for 2.5k.... 2007 LS 460L ....
