I have a 2007 RX 350. I just recently started using bluetooth. It was working well and then all of a sudden I have an issue after a call. I hang up my phone, but the screen still shows that it is talking; although, no call is being made. I have to stop and start car to get it to clear, so I can start again. However, it will only work once and then it still won't hang up.
View 12 RepliesI bought brand new 2013 Camry SE yesterday night..it has been just 15 hours since I bought it..today morning when I tried to pair my phone with car multimedia system...it showed the screen that it is connecting and the little circle on the top right was moving in circle as if it was trying to connect and all of a sudden it just got hang up...right there....its not going any where...now.
Is there a way to reboot this multimedia system (just like you can reboot computer or phone)..??
I tried turning car on-off...tried setup -default on bluetooth settings etc...but no luck.
Just took delivery of my 2005 SC430 (Egyptian Sand, white leather, 55k miles. Lovely vehicle.) which I thought came with Bluetooth.
However, when looking to pair my iPhone 4S the 'Phone' icon is not present on the ML Nav Info display screen, suggesting that maybe Bluetooth is missing? I confirmed it's a 2005 from the VIN.
When I depress the little button below and behind the steering wheel volume buttons (left side - this is a US car) I get a voice saying 'No cassette inserted' or words to that effect, suggesting it's a cassette control button, not a Bluetooth one. The Nav instruction book which came with the car specifically refers to the presence of Bluetooth.
How to find if I have Bluetooth or not? My iPhone cannot 'discover' anything.
I'm wondering how I can disable the navigation voice while on a Bluetooth phone call? It's slightly annoying & confusing when the other end-caller can hear my navigation.
View 2 RepliesI all of a sudden starting having problem with my Bluetooth connection. I have an iPhone 6s (since September). It has latest operating system.
Now whenever I receive a text or notification on my phone it connects the Bluetooth. It shouldn't at all with app notifications. It then does release the connection.
Nav screen says call in progress. Hanging up phone from steering wheel does nothing. I must turn off Bluetooth on phone to release "the call" and listen to the radio.
I'm having troubling pairing a phone to the Bluetooth system. I worked fine with my plain-jane Sprint cell phone as well as my kid's iPod. However, when I pair my wife's phone the car's phone system does not see the device after a few seconds.
View 8 RepliesSo my 2012 camry with the touchscreen head unit connects to my phone just fine. It streams my music just fine as well. I however hate my phone calls, texts, etc coming through the car. After my phone connects to the car, I can go to the bluetooth menu and tell it to disconnect for phone and that takes care of it for that drive. But every time I get in the car I have to break that connection.
View 3 RepliesI have a 2016 XLE with the head unit that has nav but is not the premium JBL. My wife and I both use our phones in the car. We both have Samsung Galaxy S5 phones. I have the Entune app on my phone. My phone sounds great when I use the hands free talking. When my wife calls me from the car her phone sounds horrible. Two identical phones and one sounds great and the other horrible. Is there a fix for this problem?

When we get an incoming call it no longer 'rings' through the car's audio system. How do I get the 'ring' back? The screen indicates an incoming call, but the ring has stopped.

The car detects the phone's audio media, but can't seem to be able to make calls using the Bluetooth. I remove my phone from my car's system and reconnect it. I have successfully paired the phone for voice communications using the instructions in the manual but when I go to transfer my phone book the car just says transferring. I left this for about 10 minutes and no numbers moved. The phone says Paired for audio is this would be my guess as to why this isnt working. Any tips to get my numbers imported?

When I connect my iPhone 6 (Verizon), the phone call history transfers correctly. When she connects her iPhone 6 (AT&T), all the numbers and names transfer distorted. Both of our phone call histories work perfectly on my 2014 IS250.

View 3 RepliesI have a Sprint HTC Hero. It worked fine on my Prius. I upgraded the phone from Android 1.5 to 2.1. I thought all was OK because the phone would connect to the car. The problem is that when I make a call or someone calls me everything looks OK until someone talks. Nothing. No voices. I can't hear the other person and they can't hear me.
View 6 RepliesI have an iPhone 4S that connects to the car fine. The problem is that it randomly drops bluetooth during a call. It does repair after random periods of time. My only guess is the phone because the iPhone 4 I just traded in never had this issue. I have tried deleting the pairing from both the car and phone without any luck.

In the last month whenever I get into my car the Bluetooth in my car does not recognize my phone. I have to turn off my Bluetooth from my phone and turn it back on. No problem then for the rest of the day. Everything works ok until the next morning.
Is the problem with my phone or with my car?
