I have a 2010 RX350 with IPA (Back up sensors) and I've recently come across a problem. There is no light on the dash indicating that the system is active. And when I go to the setup menu to want to scroll and activate to the option of enabling or disabling the system, the option is just not there. The only option is to activate snow mode.. What has happened? Where I should start troubleshooting?
View 2 RepliesA couple times in the last month or two, my park assist comes on for apparently no reason. I am stopped at a light, with no one in front of me, and it starts beeping rapidly as if someone were almost touching the front of the car. Last night I noticed it again, this time it was snowing somewhat.
View 8 RepliesEverything was working fine until I started messing with camera settings in the service menu today . Now when I shift into reverse, it says "system not ready". Will not let me parallel park or reverse park now. I tried to reset the settings but maybe I don't know how to "save" settings.

View 3 RepliesDriving in heavy rain on the interstate, my park assist warning started signaling. I assumed it was the heavy rain affecting the sensors. However, later on local roads, I kept getting intermittent warnings, with only light rain coming down. It seemed to happen most during deceleration, when water would slide down the hood toward the front bumper. I'm guessing it has something to do with the sensors on the front bumper, possibly getting water in them.

View 4 RepliesDoes the 2015 GX 460 beeps when you're really near an object? Mine only alerts me when there is a moving object. I checked the lexus park assist and it's on but no alert. It doesn't alert when I'm reversing or when I'm driving forward when I'm parallel parking.
View 5 RepliesFirst time Lexus and RX350 owner. Not familiar with the new type of shift gear. When I shifted the gear from Park to Reverse straight down instead of moving to the right first, the vehicle would jerk and make a thud sound. Not sure if this would have damaged anything. After I have get used to moving the gear to the right first before shifting down, I would still sometimes have this jerk/thud. But if I do the whole shift movement (shift the right first) real quick then the chance of getting the jerk/thud is much less. Is it a manufacture defect or just I am not doing it properly?
View 5 RepliesI had a garage connect a computer to my 2013 rx350. It reported AC problem. It does not say what is wrong with it. What that actually checks on the AC ? I don't get cold air so I bought an AC kit to try and recharge it.
View 14 RepliesI have a problem with the ipa on my Prius, it used to work fine and I admit I hardly ever used it, I tried to demonstrate it yesterday and when I press the button all I get is 2 quick beeps, nothing on the screen comes up.

View 1 RepliesI see where I can shut it off on navigation screen, but buzzing sound still goes off and picture lights up on speedometer on dash.
Since snow started falling this week when I drive the park assist just randomly goes off its annoying having buzzing sound just go off not shut off.
Today my car came back from service, now when I reverse park I get this display where when you move the steering wheel you can choose the spot you park in. Before I was just happy reverse parking my car myself and get a different display showing me the back view with with green and red lines I think where the car is moving towards etc. I can't figure out how to disable this steering wheel park assist.
View 1 RepliesI've noticed that when I'm seemingly close to an object on the right front, it doesn't set off the tone or show the symbol in that location. I don't know if the sensors on the right front are not working or if the sensitivity there is decreased, or if I'm just not getting too close to anything on the right front (don't think so).

View 1 RepliesI recently picked up a 2014 LX that has a Front Wide Camera in the grill (Im sure they all do). So when I go to park I noticed that the front Lexus Park Assist Sensor doesnt come on and start beeping as I get closer to the garage door nor does it come up on the screen. I took it in to get it looked at, and the dealer said they programmed it, but all they do is turn the front camera on to "Auto". My question is, is the front Park Assist Sensors not enabled if we have a Front Wide Camera? I tried looking in the manual and it shows you could adjust it, but when I check the settings I could only adjust the rear sensor.
View 2 RepliesSo the other day I was rotating my tires in my driveway, Once I was finished I took it for a test drive and about 2 minutes into the drive the traction control light (yellow light upper left hand corner) came on and has been on ever since. I haven't noticed anything else different while driving except the light remains on and that the "hill start assist" isn't working so I assume the traction control isn't working. I have tried pulling a code with a scan gauge but no codes where present and I also tried to reseting the battery by unplugging the ground cable for 10 minutes but no luck.
View 19 RepliesMy parking assist warning system has suddenly stopped working. (2007 LS460) I'm thinking I may have disabled it while pushing some other buttons or doing something else. I changed the distance to farthest but that didn't work. It was working perfectly last week. I did disable the auto down tilt on the steering wheel. Could this have also disable the parking assist?

View 2 RepliesI find it a little concerning that I can actually drive off in our RX350 without the key fob in it. I know there is a warning on the dash, but that doesn't stop someone from stealing it. May be a park lock out would be a better solution.
