Everything was working fine until I started messing with camera settings in the service menu today . Now when I shift into reverse, it says "system not ready". Will not let me parallel park or reverse park now. I tried to reset the settings but maybe I don't know how to "save" settings.

View 1 Replies2nd time I've had this problem. With the car turned on "ready light" on, the car will not shift into D. It just stays in park, and yes my foot is on the brake. I've tried to reset by turning the car off, turning it on again and shifting into D, still no luck. By retrying this over and over it finally goes into Drive and away I go. I've had the car for 3months and 5k miles, and this has only happened twice.
The second time occurred when I was stopped by a flagman at a road construction site. Instead of shutting down, I just pushed the park button. The lights were on, the radio playing and my garmin was plugged in and the AC was on, would the high load have caused the problem? When I pulled the plug on the Garmin, the car went into gear on the next try, but I don't know if there is a cause and effect. I finally got it going after about 25 cars had to go around me and the last car was passing me when it finally went into D.
When I start the car and get the Ready light, I try to shift into P or R, or anything, it doesn't shift. Then it beeps once. I've tried turning everything off. Exiting, locking, unlocking and retrying.
I get the Ready light and the gas engine even starts, it just won't shift. But beeps once after I try to shift into any gear.
I have a 2010 RX350 with IPA (Back up sensors) and I've recently come across a problem. There is no light on the dash indicating that the system is active. And when I go to the setup menu to want to scroll and activate to the option of enabling or disabling the system, the option is just not there. The only option is to activate snow mode.. What has happened? Where I should start troubleshooting?
View 2 RepliesI have a problem with the ipa on my Prius, it used to work fine and I admit I hardly ever used it, I tried to demonstrate it yesterday and when I press the button all I get is 2 quick beeps, nothing on the screen comes up.

View 1 RepliesIs this a bug? I hit the start button, everything comes on, put on my seatbelt, etc... then I shift into reverse (out of park) and it says I must start in park. But it's already started. I then have to hit the start button to turn everything off, then hit it again to turn anything on. How to avoid this?
View 12 RepliesOK, each day my new T-Reg has a surprise. Today it was that the Park Assist showed just the red lights when in reverse. I know from the manual that this indicates a fault with the system.
I'm taking the car back to the dealer to have it diagnosed.... what should I expect? Is it as easy as hook up a computer and it says that sensor X is faulty??
Actually, the park assist seems to work when in 'D' so I assume that it's something on the back set that is faulty. The car is clean and only four days old from the dealer. I've checked the sensor exteriors and can't see anything covering them. Anything else I should check?
I bought a 2010 V8 Explorer on Monday and aside from the apparent "known issue" with the hard 2-1 shift (which I'm trying to get it to "unlearn" by driving differently), it's a really nice truck.
When I shift into reverse it says "Park Aid On/Off" in the display, and sure enough, it beeps when I get close to something. That said, there aren't the normal "dots" in the bumper that I normally associate with backup sensors.
Everything works just fine with it, I just am a guy who likes to know how things work and I don't see anything on the outside that would indicate it's a parking sensor.
So the other day I was rotating my tires in my driveway, Once I was finished I took it for a test drive and about 2 minutes into the drive the traction control light (yellow light upper left hand corner) came on and has been on ever since. I haven't noticed anything else different while driving except the light remains on and that the "hill start assist" isn't working so I assume the traction control isn't working. I have tried pulling a code with a scan gauge but no codes where present and I also tried to reseting the battery by unplugging the ground cable for 10 minutes but no luck.

I am stopped at a light, with no one in front of me, and it starts beeping rapidly as if someone were almost touching the front of the car. Last night I noticed it again, this time it was snowing somewhat.

View 3 RepliesDriving in heavy rain on the interstate, my park assist warning started signaling. I assumed it was the heavy rain affecting the sensors. However, later on local roads, I kept getting intermittent warnings, with only light rain coming down. It seemed to happen most during deceleration, when water would slide down the hood toward the front bumper. I'm guessing it has something to do with the sensors on the front bumper, possibly getting water in them.

View 4 RepliesI have a 2013 RX350 AWD, purchased new about 8 months old. Today for the first time, the navigation/audio system joy stick stopped working while I was driving. The display froze and then had just lines of pixels and very small font. Moving the joy stick had no effect. There was also no map displayed. The display was basically "messed up".
Once I got home, I turned of the car and then restarted. The display and joy stick was fine. I never saw this in all 8 months I've had the car. I am just about to schedule my 10,000 service.
Does the 2015 GX 460 beeps when you're really near an object? Mine only alerts me when there is a moving object. I checked the lexus park assist and it's on but no alert. It doesn't alert when I'm reversing or when I'm driving forward when I'm parallel parking.
View 5 RepliesOur 2015 Prius 4 with 8,900 miles just suddenly stopped chirping and turning the lights off upon locking. The courtesy lights also no longer work (the lights worked last night as I approached the car but not tonight. The locking chirp/beep worked 3 hours ago but not now. Also headlights no longer go out after double clicking lock on either of the 2 fob.)
