Fan controls I, II, III, IV are not working. A/C not working when button is pressed. I checked the fuses on the driver's side with a test light, but none seem to be blown. What else i can check. but i notice that when the car is moving, i feel air from the vents as if the vent was selected. but as of blowing, no forced air coming out.

View 2 RepliesRecently I went out to start the car with the key I typically use, and when I pressed the Start button I got the message "Key Not In Range." The key will lock / unlock the car, but simply won't start it. I've been having to use my spare / second key in the meantime. I haven't had a single problem with the car since I bought it Sept 2012.
View 6 RepliesLast Saturday it worked because i left all 4 windows down while driving. On Sunday I drove in the rain, so all my windows were up. The next day on a clear day I put my windows down and noticed the left rear window won't go down but I can hear the normal 'shoosh' sound like the motor works but it won't slide down. I put my hand against the window to push down and it went down (because I had already push the button down so it allowed the window to be opened) When I pushed the button up to go up, it goes up.
To make sure my window can't be slided down with hand by carjackers, I first tried by using my hand to slide down, it won't go down. So it seems like the motor works. When I pressed the bottom to go up, it goes up but it won't go down when pressed down.
Car year is 1999....

View 2 RepliesThe controls on my steering wheel stopped working. Last Saturday I brought car into dealer for an oil change and they did a recall on the ECM module. I wonder if this is a coincidence or if the programming messed up the wheel.
View 2 RepliesLast night I filled up my gas tank and got back in the car, started it up and the top section of the computer screen on the dash that displays the radio information/volume, etc was off. The steering wheel volume controls no longer work either. However, the cruise control on the other side works as well as the rest of the computer to the left of the speedometer. The radio also works just fine as well. What the problem is? Is it something that I could have somehow turned off and can turn right back on (hopefully)?
View 7 RepliesYesterday the horn on my 2007 Passat has stopped working completely. I have read the owner's manual from cover to cover and the fuse for the horn is not listed anywhere in any of the fuse diagrams - either for the engine compartment cover, or on the fuses listed in the interior by the driver's side.
In addition the MFD steering wheel controls have also stopped working, and there is also no night time illumination on those buttons. I'm guessing as these are also located on the steering wheel that the two problems might be linked. I can live without the MFD controls, but the horn is a safety issue.
I have a 2003 Passat W8 with the Monsoon system and today I had a new problem pop up with it. On my way to work this morning the steering wheel volume and tuning controls stopped working. I also noticed that the Heads up display in the center of the dash is now blank...it used to show the CD number and track number. I can't seem to find any blown fuses in the fusebox.. I don't have the removal tools but I was going to check behind the radio to see if there might be another fuse there...

View 4 RepliesI have both a 2010 Prius and a new v and have just noticed that if you press the 'Econ' button once, the little light goes on in the dashboard. If you press it again, the little light goes off. The same occurs with the 'pwr' button.

View 7 RepliesThe truck sat since 2002 or so. Hasn't ran since, So my brother and me towed it home and I started working on it. I replace the tailgate, Replaced the lights, Did a oil change, Dropped the gas tank out and ran a gallon of gas and seafoam through it. Then I was driving it the other day and I decided to play the radio so I pressed the power button and I heard a pop noise. Like not a fuse pop noise. This happens every time you turn it on/change the volume. Its coming from the speakers and the louder the volume the louder the popping is. Is the radio just bad? Its a funny square shape and I haven't ever seen a radio that would fit this. I checked all the fuses and I found nothing.
View 8 RepliesI have had my '12 S for two weeks and love the car. I am just starting to figure out the car and what I want to update/upgrade. But the button on the driver's door isn't working. Before I take it to the dealer, for fear of looking stupid if the fix is simple, is there a fuse I should check or something else I'm missing that would prevent the button from opening the trunk? The fob works and if I use the handle on the truck it opens fine. If there is a fuse I should check?

View 1 RepliesI cant start the sonata 2011 unless I keep the start button pressed for 10+ seconds. It just doesn't start anymore by just pressing the brake and hitting start button once. I figured before I replaced the brake light switch, is that's what causing this problem?
View 9 RepliesMy wife's 07 santa fe has started to develop an issue with the fuel door not always opening when the button is pressed. I haven't had to use the manual release yet but sometimes you have to hit the button 5-10 times before you hear the click and it opens. The vehicle just went off warranty (of course!) and since the nearest Hyundai dealer is 2 1/2 hours away it would be nice to work on it myself.

View 3 RepliesI was wondering from the community if they ever hear a "motor" sound or like a "leveling" sound coming from the steering/instrument cluster area after you press the keyless start button (not starting the car). To me I was thinking it's like the car is maybe moving the steering column kinda like how luxury cars move the steering away to allow people to get in and out. But I don't believe the steering wheel is powered since I adjust it using the levers. Just wondering what this sound is for, worried something isn't right with that.

The Remote Air Conditioning System uses electrical energy stored in the hybrid battery (traction battery) and allows the air conditioning to be operated by remote control. My remote controls have this button, but nothing happens when I press them for a couple seconds.
I just picked up 2007 LS460. I used the remote to open the trunk, but can't use it to close the trunk. Can only close by pressing the button on the trunk to close. When i press close on the remote, it beeps, but does not do anything.
